Outreach: A Helping Hand To Our Business

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automate correspondences in a controlled manner with a personalized message that is not received in a "span-like" manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to identify a function of Outreach's Product or Service that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In today's world of recruiting, the ability to connect with qualified candidates in a timely manner to share details of an opportunity requires multiple touch points in a timely manner. Outreach allows me to automate email correspondences, a time-consuming aspect of my job, and focus my time and energy on the other touch points and technologies that require my attention.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are in a position such as marketing, sales, recruiting, etc. that requires you to communicate with a high volume of contacts using multiple touch points, you might find that sending personalized emails to a target audience to be an arduous, but critical component to your day to day operations. Outreach allows you to personalize and automate targeted email messages regarding your product or service to a large target audience without taking time away from your other day to day activities.

A great tool that I incorporate into my everyday work life

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach allows me to maintain a personal touch on my emails while giving me more time to focus on other tasks related to getting sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach is a relatively new product so there are occasionally bugs but the support team is great and will typically find a fix right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of prospecting emails without them seeming like typical marketing spam. More time in my day to do real sales. Less time spent managing campaigns.

Great tool, lots of options

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to sequence many people and pre-schedule emails. The auto-fill option makes my life much easier. Outreach also does a good job of prioritizing tasks within my 360 view, it really knows who I should focus on contacting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only annoying thing I have found so far is that there is no back button within outreach, so often you click back to "prospects" or whatever and you start at zero, particularly within the Salesforce extension. An Outreach specific back button would be wonderful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem is not being able to email enough people quickly with personalized, information messages, but Outreach solves that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'm not sure what else is out there, but Outreach seems like a top-notch communication solution.

I have realized how many different individuals I could reach in my line of work through Outreach because of its reuse capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track open emails is my favorite thing about it. I setup alerts when a prospect opens an email more than once, with a task to call them.

The ramp up period took a few weeks, just to figure everything out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being more organized has been the biggest benefit. Outreach helps me keep my head on straight.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Outreach to anyone trying to keep in touch with hundreds or thousands of people. Its great for business development.

Outreach has helped me achieve the volume of emails that I need without compromising quality.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can personalize emails per name, company, geo, and any other customer input.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Outreach doesn't always recognize bad data (like accidentally sending 200 emails to someone with the same name). I know that these kinds of details should be left up to the sender, but I think it would be helpful for Outreach to have some better error filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving for efficiency of time, and I've realized many benefits with outreach. I'm able to email hundreds of people while still personalizing the content, and I've seen some good results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend time learning the ins and outs of the different functions.
