Worst Customer experience with Vimeo
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing really. It's very difficult to find stuff. Hardly any usability studies is my guess. We were using Youtube.. should probably switch back.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is miserable! And this is about renewal! They make it so difficult to even accept money! I've written several emails to them and haven't go any response. There's no live chat option. And the one response that I got - didn't even address all the questions that I had. What a miserable way to treat customers.
We hardly need to reach out to them, but when we actually need help - they are hopeless.

We just want a place to host videos and manage privacy levels. We also don't want ads

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use with the chrome extension, and it's also free. We love the video messaging feature too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works very well in windows and chrome but sometimes we face issued with firefox browser
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Vimeo daily to record and share newly developed features to clients, which helps us to record and save the recorded video quickly. We are now used to it.
Vimeo Runs Smoothly for Streaming, Embedding and more.
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest advantage to using Vimeo is that it allows you to lock videos to limited specific domains and/or to offer them for sale. I have recommended Vimeo to people for each of these properties individually and used both options myself — we've also done awesome things like embed a Vimeo live stream into our community platform and then have the recording auto-embedded after the event. It all works pretty smoothly once you figure out the initial tech setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
That said, it does require a bit of technically know how to get things set up and running correctly - as the "techy" on my team it did take a bit of training to get the rest of the team up and running with how it all works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo makes it easy to create videos that clients and customers need to pay to access - whether using Vimeo's built-in eCommerce options or embedding the videos behind a paywall in another platform.
Best hosting platform for our own media content
What do you like best about the product?
1- Place to host our own media in highest quality possible.
2- I really love their video embedded function which allows us to navigate through whole video with any distrubance.
3- Its simulated live events and still I don't is there any platform doing this better than Vimeo, allow us to go live where we are not live simply we can broadcast our lives
4-Integration with API push videos into TVapps seamlessly.
5- Our all videos are password protected, this I love the most because the person who has our password can see our video.
MUST TRY FEATURE - 360 videos I didn't try this feature but I heard from my friends that this is extremely smooth.

Some times Live streaming function is not working properly rest all other things are great thank you so much to their developers they made such a great thing for people. Before I only used youtube but now I use Vimeo more often.

2- Their premium planes are very affordable and worth of money.
3- I go live alot of people see me and connected with me and my small business with the help of Vimeo .

Excellent Video Hosting Platform with Embedding Options
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo takes all the pain points from its major competitor and gives the customers what they want! The features for embedding on our website are the reason we signed up, but there are a lot of other benefits too!
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't had too much to complain about in terms of Vimeo and the features that they offer. The only thing that I can think of is that the monthly fee would be better if it was based on view time instead of storage space, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we embedded our videos from another platform, we lost control over display issues such as hiding the title on the thumbnail, hiding the channel icon, and related items. The videos looked horrible on our site. We decided to try Vimeo and our embedded video thumbnails look 1,000 times better!
Great for hosting video courses – but not for video marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is a robust solution that I've used for over 5 years in my business. The video playback works great on all platforms, the player is quick to load, you can define playback speed, domain protection etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
the user interface. it has gone through several changes in the last years and it's just too clunky. The analytics can't compete with what you find on wisita or sproutvideo

Best platform to post your videos
What do you like best about the product?
On Vimeo, we can upload high-quality videos and its analytics are the best, and very easy to use, they don't display ads in between videos so user enjoys only videos
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't get a chance to dislike in fact Vimeo is used for Business and on other streaming platforms you get a mixed crowd, so I think this is the best, we get a proper business feel on Vimeo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo has a free version and also gives you specific bandwidth to use, that's very good. The best part is you can edit previously uploaded videos and their views, and comments won't be removed
Very easy to use, all purpose screen recorder
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use and install. Works across multiple browsers and operating systems. Just install a browser plugin and you're up and running. Works great and we've had no problems with it - either recording or sending recordings to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pricey compared to others. Screen recorders like Loom work virtually the same as this and are significantly less expensive and many have no limits on file size, video length, etc.

We wanted the ability to record screens - either for demos of software or for meetings, etc. - and then distribute those internally in our own organization or, in some cases, externally.
Lots of Great Options but Expensive
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of options in many categories. The quality of the videos (both in content and resolution) is very good and saves me time in that I don't need to sort through bad quality footage.
What do you dislike about the product?
They videos are very expensive, and even though you save a bit with membership, the membership only makes sense if you are buying several videos. I was also hoping to download a stock video before buying it, as I need to submit content drafts for review from brand campaigns sometimes, and I don't want to pay for stock videos I may not use in my final content version. I wouldn't think that it would be a problem to download since the stock video has the watermark before you buy it, but I wasn't able to figure out how to, or if it was possible, to download before buying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo stock is better than the other stock sites I used because I actually seem to find what I need on Vimeo, thanks to all the categories and good videos. It's well-organized so I can add videos to my showcase if I want to keep the videos in mind for later use.
Best tool to record screen
What do you like best about the product?
It is very helpful in sharing the screen record easily.

It is lacking sometimes in screen recording.
