Not enough features for the price
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the layout of Vimeo because the learning curve is very low and allows even novices to understand how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn’t like that the features of the platform were fairly limited to basic items compared to other video hosting sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it to share videos privately with clients for their review.

What do you like best about the product?
This is an online platform in which you can search for video of everything you need, it is an efficient search engine since you can find videos to solve problems, find tutorials, entertainment videos, music, and many more things. In addition, you can upload your own videos on this platform so that other people can observe it through Vimeo, you can also upload videos and these through an API can be seen within your website either for company presentations, work models Etc. You can also subscribe to profiles that you like a lot and observe all the content that these profiles offer us. It is a platform suitable for all types of user, easy to use and intuitive in addition to being able to save the content that catches your attention within your account and so you can see it easily later. Vimeo has its own app available in any format, whether Android or IOS, in general this is a universal and completely efficient tool. To create your free account you only need to sign in to email or simply associate it with your Google account.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bad things about this software is that if you don't have a good internet connection, this program won't play the videos, and another thing that's not nice is the amount of ads that contain your videos. However this platform has many good things that make it useful and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform has benefited me a lot within my work since in it I can store many of the videos that I need to handle the web pages, the Instagram pages, among other things. You can use it from anywhere, whether it's your workplace, your home, or anywhere you need such information in video format. You can also look for inspirational ideas for new marketing projects that are completely necessary not only for me but for the whole department, so we all use Vimeo for this purpose.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform is useful because it can be used personally and professionally, it is a great tool and a good entertainment medium, I really recommend it a lot.

What do you like best about the product?
We can a good amount of space to host our initial videos after signing up. The pricing is reasonable and affords us many great organization and marketing features that allow our videos to be found more easily. The design of the Vimeo is very professional and doesn't contain lots of clutter or many ads like several other popular platforms do. The quality of the picture and audio in the videos we upload are excellent. I can't notice any quality reduction from compression. I like that users can also download the videos with a button click.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is higher compared to YouTube. I would like there to be as many features as standard YouTube accounts have. In order to get the storage capacity that we are given at YouTube and other video services, we have to pay a subscription fee. Also, it would be good if there were more ad options, if that's the way we want to go so we can better monetize video views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo has been a solid video hosting platform that we have used to upload videos to websites and social media. It can also be used as a standalone video storage outlet that allows us to access videos for presentations at any given moment. Since videos often take up lots of storage space, hosting our videos on Vimeo allows us to free up space in our local hard drives and makes the videos easier to access for groups of people.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Vimeo is recommended if having high picture quality in your online videos is a priority. The fees might be a bummer, but I think you'll find that it's better than some of the other services that are more ad-based and have more users, like YouTube.
Wibbitz Is An Editorial Win!
What do you like best about the product?
Wibbitz makes creating video content to pair with articles a BREEZE. Their range of footage, clean formatting, and STELLER customer service team is top notch. The online publishing world is super competitive, but Wibbitz can help you to stay on top.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, bugs in the program can slow down process but the Wibbitz customer service team works super quickly to fix them. A quicker export time would also be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wibbitz (Terra especially) has been super open and accepting of any feedback that we've given them. We asked for folders to organize footage, additional customizable templates, more editorial control, and more. I am SUPER excited for the next Wibbitz edit control room to see all of our suggestions come to life.
My customer success manager has made it a good experience.

The best part about using Wibbitz is the support you receive from the customer success managers - they are extremely helpful!

Wibbitz is not always reliable. I very often run into problems. However, my customer success manager is always there to help me work my way through them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to post a lot more high-quality short-form videos on our social media. We've also been able to use it to cut longer-form videos and add title slides to videos.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't use this platform to create long-form videos. It works very well for shorter-form content, like 30 second videos. It does not work as well for long-form videos.

I like that Vimeo is so simple to work with. Easy to share videos from the sites and view all my videos right there.

That people don't use it as much for posting videos like YouTube. But i feel like it's friendlier for businesses.

A fine video website with tons of beautiful videos and easy tools
What do you like best about the product?
I can sometimes find videos to license for business purposes through Vimeo. It's relatively easy to get in touch with content owners that are willing to license their video content. I can also find video portfolios from animators and other visual designers. As far as video hosting, the quality of the videos on Vimeo have a higher resolution, or at least the capability of higher resolutions, than many other similar video hosting services. Uploading a video can be done in a few uncomplicated steps, which really helps me to get in and out without wasting much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I started out using the basic plan that has a file storage limit. It worked out well for me for a while, but I ultimately found that a paid plan was needed to get adequate usage out of Vimeo. I don't have a problem with the pricing that much, but I think you can get much more mileage out of the basic plans in other video services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Vimeo to host videos that we display in online media or provide links to from general business media. We can get very high resolution that ensures our viewers will get a good viewing experience and not a diminished version of our content as it was created. We haven't gotten great feedback from our video content from leads. The videos allow us to present common information without having to communicate with people on an individual basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using Vimeo to upload all of your videos in a central place where people can access them easily. If you post videos to YouTube, Facebook and other places, it can be harder for people to find videos and there is less continuity and connectivity between videos in your portfolio.
Good live stream service for mid-size - large companies
What do you like best about the product?
Livestream's multi-stream capabilities made for great simulcasts across Facebook and YouTube or across multiple pages. The functionality within a live stream allows for a ton of creative license while everything comes together professionally and beautifully. That being said, in order to take advantage of the creative capabilities, you need an expert's help. We were able to find a contractor to assist in the campaign set up and execution during important client events.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform requires an expert to set up and stream correctly, especially to multiple platforms and pages. The setup is definitely not as simple as just creating a live on Facebook but the extra work seems to pay off if you need to stream to multiple pages and platforms. If you don't have live stream or video experience you will need to contract an expert for help as the platform is not easy to learn. It is a valuable tool to learn but it can take months to master the platform if you've never used it before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Livestream solved our problem of the complexity of streaming to multiple pages and platforms. It allows the brand to provide a cohesive message and stream as well and include brand partners and influencers. The analytics within livestream has been beneficial as well. Especially when reviewing the performance of a particular event.

If you're a Live stream beginner, take advantage of their support and find an expert to teach you!

A high-end video hosting website with excellent streaming performance
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo has a clean website design with simple buttons and menu items for uploading and managing our videos. The beginner plan packs a big punch and can probably be used for most video hosting needs. We use a more premium plan and have plenty of space to host all of our videos. We also have extended features that give us more custom controls over our Vimeo account and individual video settings. Many of the videos that are uploaded to Vimeo have a high level of quality and creativity, which I think reflects well upon all those that use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think that the pricing is too high for what we get, but when you compare to overall cost to other popular websites that can host video like YouTube and Facebook, the cost for Vimeo is significantly higher for the amount of videos that we post. Also, there aren't as many useful marketing features in Vimeo compared to those other websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have benefited from Vimeo's high quality video playback capabilities. I can link to the video in the Vimeo website or embed the videos in web pages or social media posts. With Vimeo, we can post presentations, marketing materials and other business video content online quickly and with very little hassle. We can easily manage our account online and can renew our subscription automatically without having to talk to anyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest using Vimeo or a similar high end video hosting service is video is a critical part of your business. The video displays are cleaner than many of the lower cost options. If you're not very particular about the quality of your video, you should be fine with one of the lower cost options.
