World-class AI-Based Translation Platform

What do you like best about the product?
* Fair rates.
* Powerful software that's regularly updated with new features.
* Friendly and supportive vendor managers.
* Punctual payment.
* Continuous flow of work with diverse topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
* Work package reservation is very competitive and sometimes, it can be difficult to reserve file. Some projects, however, have the auto-reservation option activated.
* Limited payment options in terms of payment methods and currency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a language service provider, I use the Smartling platform to translate, review and edit texts. I also use the invoicing features to keep track of delivered work and monthly invoices.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartling is one of the most efficient and easy-to-handle translations platform I know, the design is very clear and the translation interface nice and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see any disadvantages of the platform.

Smartlig helps to delete complexity of the translation process and helps managing big volume projects with easy.

What do you like best about the product?
An option to download the translation in a Word format and do a thorough spellcheck.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not well organised workbench as far as display of AI, TM and matches is concerned.
Poor terminology capabilities compared to Trados.
Limited capability as far as TM search is concerned.
Restricted options for working offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can work for my client who prefers this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartling stands out for its transparency and ethical business practices. Their clear pricing and open communication build trust, making them a reliable partner. Philippe and Kian are a pleasure to work with, and have always been responsive and pro-active in supporting us.

The platform is user-friendly, with a flexible interface that’s accessible to both technical and non-technical users. Integration with HubSpot and other tooling was also seamless, allowing us to blend manual and automated translations.

Recent investments in AI have significantly improved speed and accuracy and reduced overall translation costs which is always a positive.

Overall, Smartling is an excellent choice for businesses looking for reliable, innovative localization solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major drawbacks. Some of the advanced features may require a learning curve for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartling is making it easier for our team to manage translations by providing a simple, smart platform that helps us deliver accurate, consistent content to all our international audiences.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it's easy to use navigation and help center documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the constant login sessions, but it usually happens once a day. Would love to expand this to maybe once a week or so for people that use the tool on a daily basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in collaboration with LSPs, maintaining Linguistic tools and assets and TMs
Also I like the MT self-service that allows me to generate translations very quickly

What do you like best about the product?
Fluent and continued assignments, flexibility with deadlines, prompt and accurate payment.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I cannot say anything I dislike about Smartling.

They are always happy to solve any problem and query I encounter. They give prompt solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
-Ease of use
-Visual context feature
-Possibility to communicate with the customer via string issues and queries
-Possibility to access Translation Memories in different languages
-Real-time invoice on the user’s dashboard
What do you dislike about the product?
-No minimum job size
-The pricing structure penalizing translators (such as the 20% discount applied to the translation step for all matches within the 0.0% - 84.9% fuzzy band, Validation and SmartMatches)
-The 12-hour clock instead of the 24-hour clock

I work as a translator directly for Smartling or for other agencies and use Smartling as a cat-tool

User-friendly CAT tool

What do you like best about the product?
An easy to use CAT tool for translators with all the features you'd expect (glossary, TMs, QA checks) and more. I find especially the context view helpful and the "open an issue" option to contact project managers etc. I work with many different CAT/TMS tools, and in my opinion, Smartling is the one with the fewest bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont' have any issues with the tool itself

It's a tool that helps clients to get content translated and is an easy enough tool to use for translators to provide translations in many different languages. Different options (human translation, editing, machine translation etc.) for different needs
