A stable solution solution used for analysis with fast deployment
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
I used it to analyze data from ERP, SCADA, or other instruments. I also used it to develop the prototypes in my company and install them in customers' networks or the cloud.
What needs improvement?
The solution could provide more customization.

I have been using Metabase for nine to ten months. We use the solution's latest edition.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I began working with Board many years ago, then transitioned to Excel on Windows, followed by Power BI, MicroStrategy, and Pentaho.
How was the initial setup?
The deployment was much faster than a lot of other tools like open-source tools.
What other advice do I have?
I used only the open-source, free edition. They are fast and simple but quite rigid regarding the dashboard and have some limitations in customization, such as characters, fonts, and number dimensions. It's necessary to have what the software provides.
I use a database to demonstrate the cost of compressing the system for clients, industry maintenance, sales management, or energy management. It encompasses a wide range of fields.
I use other tools to study the problems related to AI. The results from these tools can be integrated into the database to demonstrate the solution. Metabase is a different AI tool and is not included in this.
Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

With sql and with no sql it is very easy to visualise data

Runs a bit slow at times, needs re calibration.

What do you like best about the product?
Metabase is a great tool to meet your data requirements. You can write reports, fetch data seamlessly. The UI is great and offers a minimilistic appeal to it. The reports run faster and are downloadable in various formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fetching large data can be tricky sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Metabase helps us get our operations data seamlessly, which allows to work efficiently and improve productivity.

I like the data visualisation settings that allows you to structure your data queries in a way that is digestable. Can create fun reports and dashboards that can be shared and used as a quick access tool for reporting on metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
When building queries you have to go back to the editor to keep making changes, it would be great to have the editor and the report live side by side so that when you make changes you can see them in realtime. Would make it easier to make smaller adjustments, sometimes it can be quite lengthy to make one minor change because you have to keep going back and forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One place that hosts all our data, so any questions we have can be answered with the right queries. It enables us to see the success of our marketing campaigns, which promotional discounts have better CVR and contribution profit.

What do you like best about the product?
Metabase is easily to customize and can integrate easily with several data sources at once. This gives this tool a clear advantage over others available in the Market

The UX can be improved - it does sometimes takes time to get around the platform even to find a small detail. Other than that it is just perfect for Analytics requirements of your company

We have several different data sources and to combine and extract data in one place we use Metabase for our Analytics needs. The main problem was to combine data into one place and Metabase helps us do that
Very useful self-help BI tool for the organisation
What do you like best about the product?
Easy interface and less latency of the platform. Once backend data is set, anyone with or without much technical knowledge can use the platform. Also, it comes with a SQL query editor for users with knowledge of SQL, which takes care of the complex data pull/ visualisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
As it is an open source product, there is minimum to low support available. There are some known bugs existing for very long time but is not been solved yet. Also, graphs/ chats are very basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data mining and business intelligence. It is a low cost tool, so providing access to big list of users is very cost effective than any other available tool in the market.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to write the query for the desired data that is needed and it's also to download the query/data for further data-related purposes. This tool makes things related to data download very simple

There isn't much for this tool but there is 1 downside with respect to query to get the data. Sometimes it becomes difficult to fetch complex data which is essential

Its very easy to use. Can build Queries very easily. Save them and group them for future use. Filters are very easy
