Target Process & Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
That is seems to capture all the elements needed to have multiple teams and business areas review the details, criteria, action plan and that we can all experience this communication in one place via requests, stories, tasks, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature in TP3 is hidden, unlike in TP2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having one collective place to work a user story so communication does not get lost, or in the case of email folks get dropped from an email conversation but as long as that user is in TP they are in the loop. Less running around the office to visit others to discuss user stories and criteria, which equates to more productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If a company is looking to cut down on disturbing others during their work day and will use TP as the source of all information, they will find their productivity is increased.
Great Agile Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The tables are extremely versatile and customizable
What do you dislike about the product?
As a user of the free version I don't like the small number of items that can be used ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management. Time management.
Nice tool for our requirements
What do you like best about the product?
Very clear user interface, the functionality provided by the tool, it's ease of use and the support provided by the company. There's continuous enhancements going on which is another plus point.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would have found much more use with in our organisation if it supported multiple cost centres and multiple costs for different resources. It also lacks plug-ins for some of the common devops/sysops tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We as an organisation are trying to move towards agile way of project delivery. This tool has come handy as most of our projects (including some with third parties) are delivered using Target Process. Prior to this, it was quite a manual process of tracking the progress using spreadsheets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to set up and fulfills most of our day to day project management needs
TP showing what you need
What do you like best about the product?
When the views are properly set-up, it shows you what you need to know. Whether you are at the stand-up, starting to work on an assigned ticket, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Properly setting up the boards is not a task that I look forward on doing. Without properly set-up views you will not easily find the information you need. Fortunately you do this once for each view you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using TP to aid us in using scrum.
We started using TP with our testers and one team of software developers only. We knew that we could sell this to the rest of the software teams and that we needed a tool that can be scaled beyond software and testers. The tool is more than capable of doing so.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take some time to properly set it up. Do not make your set-up to complex as this will make scaling up harder.
Extremely Flexible tool for Agile teams with superb customer service
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Targetprocess for about 2 years, and I’m a big fan of the system. We started out with just 10-12 developers working inside the tool, but once I and other department heads saw the value it brought for our R&D team, adoption began to spread pretty naturally. We now use the tool for development, customer support, marketing, our design team, and content management.
Having everyone work from the same tool has made cooperation between departments much easier. When I need to find specific details, I don’t have to track them down through different versions of the same document or spreadsheet; everything is accessible right from one place.
Their development team puts out a pretty consistent stream of new features. I was impressed when I first found the tool 2 years ago, and they’ve made some immense improvements since then. The software is very open-ended and quite powerful -- I don’t think there’s any limit to how much the tool can grow in the near future.
Overall, I’d say this is an impressive and extremely powerful tool

What do you dislike about the product?
I do think that the UI can be a little difficult sometimes for newer users. However, this easily made up for by their superb support team. I’ve never had to wait long to speak directly to a real person, and they’re always quite friendly and easy to talk to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inter-department collaboration
bugtracking to test cases workflow

It's TP, best product on the market for me.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, well organized. You get confortable with it in a short period of time. It's very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a better theme for start, some operations are quite ease for advanced users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping things organized and well documented.
A flexible and cost effective solution to workflow management.
What do you like best about the product?
The support provided is among the best I have seen in the industry. They are a very responsive and always willing to dive in and resolve/clarify any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The administrative area of the site is not as robust and we would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating major milestones and giving transparency throughout the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to understand current workflow before implementing.
Best blend of simplicity and flexibility I've ever seen.
What do you like best about the product?
Target Process is very easy to use while offering configuration that has enabled me to use it in any workplace environment. Their support is great. it's nice being able to reach out to a person and get a response in real time. The UX clearly has a lot of thought and care put into it. Everyone I have shown this product to has enjoyed working in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more effort invested in their request portal. Target process offers development teams great tools to manage their backlog, but the lack of features in their customer facing side makes it hard for our company to share content with our end users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to manage projects at every level. From the high level road-mapping down to the development tasking out of work. Target Process gives us great visibility at every level, and the great thing about it is project managers no longer need to update project status. Target process allows for day to day task moment to impact project completion aggregates. Great tool all around!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait. Te investment in it is worth every penny.
Targetprocess has been incredibly flexible and met our needs near perfectly
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility. I loved being able to create a custom workflow and custom boards to exactly fit our desired work process. Unlike JIRA, Targetprocess was easy to customize and get set up with very quickly in an intuitive way. The UI with the custom boards is beautiful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a little bit sluggish especially during the middle of the work day. Everything is loaded asynchronously, even when it is something which could in theory be cached (e.g. list of assignable users). That said, it is not slow enough to be a major hindrance, and during non-peak hours is pretty quick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Targetprocess to manage all of our software development tasks and planning. It is working significantly better than Pivotal Tracker which we switched away from.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Targetprocess gives you incredible flexibility but is also not too daunting to properly set-up. You can make it fit your work flow and everyone can create their own boards to suit their individual work flow.
Simple project management that works the way you want it to.
What do you like best about the product?
The clean interface that works well. We also use the API to automatically create dev request which is really handy.
We commonly use TP as a knowledge base for all development issues. All issues are submitted into TP and tracked there as request. Those request can become bugs and/or stories. Regardless of the type of TP it is, we can search TP and retrieve stored solutions and fixes previous devs used.

What do you dislike about the product?
TP has several features that don't work well in IE but do in other browsers. The lack of browser compatibility is annoying and I am even using IE 11.
The main search feature doesn't allow sorting by created date, TP number etc. To perform sorts like that, we have to create a TP3 board and search on the board and then sort on the board columns. It would be nice if the general TP search allowed sorts.

We are using TP to manage our Agile development for several in house projects. Its has helped us to keep track of where our projects are in the development life cycle. It has also helped us determine where our deficiencies are when we see TP's being split across sprints.
