What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Targetprocess is to organize our software backlog and track all the work items done by the various teams, and I also track our issues, bugs, dependencies, releases, and more for all of the projects and teams that work within the IT and Technology Development departments.
A quick, specific example of how I use it for one of my projects is that dashboards are then used to track progress across this and to see how they influence each other.
In addition to that, I use Targetprocess for creating work instructions, capturing decomposition of features, and planning, and it also helps developers know what work has priority.
What is most valuable?
The best features Targetprocess offers include proper visualization of work items for daily use, which assists in reducing time in planning meetings due to the usability of the boards, and planning boards help discussion about budgets with management.

In our organization, specifically in the technology and information department, we use Targetprocess to monitor all devices and ensure the proper performance and functionality of our infrastructure in our day-to-day operations.
To ensure that our infrastructure functions correctly, I utilize Targetprocess to monitor all the devices, and it is perfect for multiple services that cover a large volume of transactions such as a recent project we worked on.
We also use Targetprocess to manage portfolio demand, resource allocations, and costs in a way that is beneficial for our operations.
What is most valuable?
Targetprocess offers features that include monitoring all devices, report generation, ensuring that our infrastructure functions correctly, and performance predictions, and I particularly love the seamless integration with Jira software.
The integration with Jira helps to manage work management effectively.
Helping the management is also a great feature of Targetprocess.
Targetprocess has helped with collaboration within my organization, achieving better cross-departmental collaboration. It has also saved a lot of time due to its capabilities for clear planning, improved cross-team collaboration, reduced the need for multiple tools since it includes service desk and project management, easy project planning, good reporting tools, and easy integration with financial tools.
What needs improvement?
One of the improvements I think Targetprocess needs is addressing the lack of information regarding comments submitted from requests.
It does not save the notification option configured when logging a comment, and other users in my organization complain that the main search option is not user-friendly, which sometimes frustrates us or slows us down.

What is our primary use case?
Targetprocess is currently being used within our organization to help us pull together, make visible and track all our work value that is developed and delivered within our portfolio.
We find that no other tool allows us to consolidate work into easy-to-understand views, coordinate and predict business outcomes, as well as make visible the strategy to execution to ensure alignment across the portfolio.
We also create roadmaps for development teams to share during quarterly planning and for tracking and reporting on different work efforts.
What is most valuable?
The best features Targetprocess offers include consolidating and representing data in a meaningful and impactful manner, a simple user interface that is easy to navigate, and the ability to edit and improve through mashups and detailed views. Automation and validation ensure that we are able to workflow and monitor delivery of value across critical points.

Since I started using this tool, Targetprocess has been really great because no direct positive business ROI has caused executive leadership to downplay the use of the tool. An improvement in cycle time from 97 to 45 days has occurred by understanding the bottlenecks and flow improvements through visualization and tracking functionality.

Comparing my portfolio to other internal portfolios as well as external companies, I see that the lack of adequate tools to measure, monitor, and improve is a limiting factor.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Targetprocess is that it is very easy to use and has a very intuitive and more user-friendly UI than other tools that I have used before.
We recently adopted Targetprocess as our enterprise portfolio management solution, which helps us with our view of strategy to execution. As an organization, we recently moved away from one tooling supplier, so we hope to provide some objectivity to this review. We were keen to give visibility and transparency of our change portfolio to become more data-driven and facilitate the right conversations.
For instance, with one supplier, we were unsuccessful with integration for years, but with Targetprocess, we provide connection and integration within a couple of months.
What is most valuable?
Targetprocess offers features such as a more intuitive and user-friendly UI, useful dashboards, and the ability to spin up new reports relatively straightforwardly with basic knowledge of the tooling. I also appreciate being able to share the view to non-users within the organization, and I value the ability to access data points within many visuals to validate and interrogate the data.
It helps us to monitor all our devices and ensure that our infrastructure functions correctly.
Targetprocess positively impacts my organization because of its seamless integration with AWS billing data for improved cost transparency. It is also a great tool as it has reduced waste by maximizing integrations and allowed us to move away from manual RAID management and tracking, while enabling great visibility to portfolio change management and helping us to become more data-driven.
It has reduced costs in comparison to our previous supplier from about 40% to 30%.
What needs improvement?
I find that having the ability to only open three windows at a time is an unnecessary constraint, and I hope IBM will address this on the change roadmap.

Targetprocess is deployed in my organization as a Hybrid Cloud using AWS for our hybrid deployment. I purchased Targetprocess through the AWS marketplace.
I highly recommend Targetprocess for agile teams, and less so for hierarchy teams. It is very convenient for executing work, but while it is powerful for analyzing information and tracking progress, it can be slightly more difficult to use for non-tech users.
Targetprocess has reduced the need for multiple tools because it includes service desk and project management, which has led to easy planning of projects, good reporting tools, and ease of integration with financial tools, thereby simplifying the budget.
