Targetprocess  is leveraged to streamline workflows, manage resources efficiently, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. A key feature is the ability to link OKRs directly to project financials within the same tool. The ability to tailor Targetprocess  to different team delivery frameworks is also appreciated.

Linking OKRs to project financials in Targetprocess is suited for Agile and ITSM  and traditional project management, where it is used to manage an Agile portfolio comprising two Agile Release  Trains made up of approximately 30 teams. It allows for visibility and transparency, ensuring business agility and the outcomes from these two Agile releases spread across six value streams can be managed, tracked, and delivered.

Targetprocess helps teams by providing integration with Jira  and reporting at multiple tiers, from team to epic and upwards, which provides visibility and transparency in managing the portfolio.

Targetprocess offers several valuable features, including easy customization when required and ease of use for getting started, making it suitable for beginners.

The reporting feature in Targetprocess provides a wide range of standard reports and has excellent ability to perform self-service reports for any needed scenario with slice and dice and filtering at all levels.

Targetprocess is very easy to use. For beginners, screens and views are well-represented and easy to understand. Project portfolio management is easy, including budgeting, capacity planning, forecasting, and dashboards that are excellent.

Targetprocess has positively impacted the organization, as visibility was a crucial deliverable. Agility health measures have increased by 30%. Feature cycle time, which is clearly measured across the ART, has improved by 50% over the past three years. The clearer and more effective measurable PI planning events are excellent, with the PI objectives achieved rate now at 80 to 90% versus 55% when starting.

Measuring agility health and feature cycle time has been a fantastic part of the journey and growth, helping achieve high levels of maturity after years. Targetprocess was implemented early in the Agile journey and within six months, growth occurred with the tool, fundamentally assisting in configuring portfolios, understanding Agile ways and methodology, and allowing the creation of measures and reports much faster, fully integrated with Jira  in a bi-directional way.

One area for improvement in Targetprocess is that costing can become substantial when wanting to use it across all teams.

A needed improvement in Targetprocess would be to build deeper AI functionality to assist with Agile-specific scenarios.

An additional improvement needed for Targetprocess is the implementation of single sign-on.

Targetprocess is very stable.

Targetprocess is highly scalable because it can fit into any size team, accommodating any number of team members.

The experience with customer support has been positive, as when reaching out to them, they have been very responsive and proactive.

Negative

Before Targetprocess, Planview, AgilePlace, and Cloudability  were previously used.

A return on investment has been seen from Targetprocess, as it has reduced duplicate spending. Additionally, it has been very helpful because the need for spreadsheets has been reduced, leading to more transparency in the work that is going on. The ability for teams to see what other teams are working on is excellent, allowing for faster collaboration.

Regarding pricing, setup cost, and licensing, Targetprocess is a bit expensive if it can be used by all team members, but for now, the price is manageable and cost-effective.

In evaluating options before choosing Targetprocess, Atlassian and Jira were considered.

Targetprocess is well-suited to track work and progress, and it ties that work to OKRs. Cost and hours roll up across the work hierarchy effectively. The flexibility of Targetprocess and the ability to develop custom views and report scenarios are appreciated, especially for executive level reporting and reports that can pull in all time data, since there is a record limit of 300K. Targetprocess is a mature product with strong functionality, and I would rate this review at 9 out of 10.

My main use case for Targetprocess  is that my user experience has been amazing. Targetprocess  is something we are trying to implement to improve the agile process in our team to improve efficiency and productivity. The advantage of Targetprocess is the visual boards, and it helps us in visualizing details in a better manner and hence improve collaboration among the team members. The other advantage is integration with other tools, which is very seamless.

A quick specific example of how I use Targetprocess day-to-day in my work is that Targetprocess helped us bridge the gap between the different portfolios that operate in silos to give the required visibility to the senior leadership to find synergies and align the strategy across different departments and teams.

Additionally, Targetprocess gives us the opportunity to manage our resources better and improve our productivity.

Some of the best features Targetprocess offers include business strategy alignment, resourcing information, mapping of work being executed with business outcomes, and visibility across the enterprise portfolio.

The visibility across the enterprise portfolio works for me by allowing middle management to look up and down the work to ensure alignment to value.

Seamless integration into other systems and applications is a great feature. Visual boards integration with AI is great also.

Targetprocess has positively impacted my organization by improving the productivity of our resources. It has improved tracking for our resources.

I can share specific outcomes or metrics since using Targetprocess, such as reduced tool redundancy, improved cross-team transparency, reduced complexity, and smooth learning.

One way Targetprocess can be improved is by making self-service in configuring new item types, workflows, and automation easier, as it currently requires us to pay a contractor to do these things, hence being a bit expensive.

I also think that the report functionality is great; however, it is somewhat restrictive. It would be great to export reports to PPT and link Power BI.

I would like to see improvements in Targetprocess, particularly in AI, as it is needed to allow users to better understand and interpret data. The ability to upgrade a solution as opposed to install and reinstall is needed, as it is cumbersome.

I have been using Targetprocess for four years and a few months.

Targetprocess is stable, as I have not experienced any lagging or downtime.

The scalability of Targetprocess is very good, as it grows with my organization's needs and is very highly scalable because it can handle all my organization's growth easily.

Targetprocess customer support is great and responsive.

I previously used Jira Align  before Targetprocess.

I switched from Jira Align  to Targetprocess because Targetprocess has a lower cost, easier implementation, and is less restrictive in terms of customization.

We purchased Targetprocess through the AWS Marketplace .

I have seen a return on investment with Targetprocess, including improvement in cycle time from 97 to 45 days by understanding the bottlenecks and flow improvements through visualization and tracking functionality. Connecting work to strategy to see alignment across the organization and for people to see meaning in their work has been great. Measuring outcomes and business value has been great as well.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the licensing cost is very affordable, and the cost is also relatively competitive compared to other tools, hence being a very affordable tool.

Before choosing Targetprocess, I evaluated other options, including Agile Hive  and Atlassian Jira .

My advice to others looking into using Targetprocess is that it will definitely work in an environment where you want to measure and track delivery of work to business outcomes and make this work transparent and visible to all levels of the organization. Targetprocess is mainly an agile tool, but it can also be used as a standard project management tool; however, it will require some customization.

I love the automation and validations to ensure that we are able to workflow and monitor delivery of value across critical points.

Targetprocess has also allowed us to consolidate work into easy-to-understand views, coordinate and predict business outcomes, and make visible the strategy to execution to ensure alignment across the portfolio.

My main use case for Targetprocess  is centralized intake and workflow management, and we do the integrations.

One of the primary business problems it solves is ensuring transparency and alignment between cross-functional teams, helping us to keep things organized in a well-mannered way.

We also use Targetprocess to streamline intake workflows, track project life cycle, and manage portfolio planning across our enterprise initiatives, as it is well-suited for agile-based program tracking.

The best features Targetprocess offers include dashboards, workforce management, reporting, intake form requests, availability of resources, portfolio management, and assistance with time management.

The workforce management feature is more valuable for team coordination, while the dashboard helps to gather data and makes data-driven decisions easily.

The UI is more intuitive than other suppliers, and that is consistent feedback from our employees as they use this tool. Additionally, the dashboards are useful, and spinning up new reports is relatively straightforward with basic knowledge of the tool.

Targetprocess has positively impacted our organization by reducing waste through maximizing integrations, allowing us to move away from manual rate management and tracking, enabling greater visibility to portfolio change management, and enabling us to become more data-driven. It provides transparency of change data so we can regularly inspect and adapt, and we have reduced costs in comparison to the previous supplier by thirty-five percent.

I would love Targetprocess to have the ability to only open three windows at a time, as it is an unnecessary constraint, and I hope IBM will get this on the change roadmap.

We are currently navigating support options, which appear to differ by actual product, so there is room to create some consistency there, as it is a bit confusing.

Dashboards with large data sets can cause performance lags or time-outs, and introducing more flexible, template-based RBAC configuration would be beneficial.

Targetprocess is scalable because it handles even huge data sets easily while maintaining its performance, being fast and reliable.

The customer support for Targetprocess is one of the best; IBM tools have excellent support.

I switched from IBM Cloudability  to Targetprocess because Targetprocess delivers good value for money. It is also very easy to use with an intuitive, user-friendly interface that is easy to customize and navigate, especially for new users.

I have seen a return on investment through faster PI planning and backlog grooming, unified views across teams and portfolios, improved capacity planning, and forecasting.

The pricing, setup cost, and licensing of Targetprocess were cost-effective and relatively affordable.

Before choosing Targetprocess, I evaluated other options including Trello  and Atlassian Jira .

Targetprocess is ideal for managing multiple agile teams using SAFe or similar frameworks. It is great for aligning strategic goals with execution using OKRs and is effective for tracking dependencies and progress across departments.

In addition to my main use case, I also use Targetprocess to manage portfolio demand, resource allocation, and cost optimization on a day-to-day basis.

Targetprocess offers several best features, including seamless integration, as it integrates seamlessly with tools such as Jira , and it is highly customizable with a clean out-of-the-box user interface that also includes integrated entities, monitoring all devices, report generation, and performance prediction.

Regarding seamless integration with Jira , it ensures that our infrastructure functions correctly while also monitoring all devices and ensuring the proper performance and functionality of our devices and infrastructure.

Targetprocess has positively impacted my organization by integrating seamlessly with AWS  billing data for improved cost transparency.

I believe that Targetprocess can be improved in areas such as integration, user experience, and customer support, which is somewhat slow and should be improved.

I would also add that customer support is not very proactive and available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and the cost is somewhat high, especially for small organizations working on a tight budget, so making it more cost-effective would be beneficial.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the cost is not very effective, especially for small organizations working on a tight budget, though the setup is great after going through the learning curve, which is very smooth.

I rate Targetprocess an eight out of ten because the usability is good, and the tool is easy to use with features that most organizations can utilize; however, additional features such as artificial intelligence integration would enhance the tool's overall usability, and providing additional dashboards for specific roles and executives within the tool would benefit Targetprocess with its scale.

My advice to others looking into using Targetprocess is that it is best used when there is a program or initiative that is being kicked off; it is less appropriate when it is in-flight or towards the end of its implementation. I appreciate the ability to integrate with other tools, specifically with IBM tools, which allows organizations that have already invested in IBM tools such as Cloudability  to integrate and use the product quickly and easily. It is a very recommendable tool because it has had a significant positive impact on our organization, and the ability of Targetprocess to integrate with other tools has dramatically increased productivity by cutting down the time to market and project planning by half.

Overall, project planning and better awareness for resources, programs, investments, and the portfolio available for a particular initiative that is being managed or deployed by Targetprocess is seamless.
