Good Experience with TP
What do you like best about the product?
The way TP performs and the way data is always in sync
What do you dislike about the product?
Any status updates takes a few seconds to reflect in TP
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using TP for tracking all user stories and defects raised in our application
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If it is possible please make target process faster when we change status or any other parameters
Works pretty well
What do you like best about the product?
I like the workflow of Targetprocess. It's very easy to get a good overview of all works which has to be done
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't easily scoll down the whole view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
resource management of research and developement issues
Great quality product that is continently updated and very flexible.
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the system. Its great to be able to throw any workflow at it and see many different views to find the information you are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The helpdesk area (requests) needs some work. I wish there was the ability to have private comments on requests, and just an overall better way to interact with our clients without them having to login.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing many long standing projects at Wayne State, small projects, and incoming support requests from our clients. We've been a lot better organized because of TP3 and we're able to better handle our support requests.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a very flexible workflow, this product is great for you!
TargetProcess helps me and my team track our work efficiently!
What do you like best about the product?
The accessibility of the features and convenience of tracking requests
What do you dislike about the product?
That there's no chat feature to be able to chat live with other users who are logged into Target Process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems we are solving are miscommunication between departments and not being able to track work. The benefits I've realized are that we can track all our work in one spot and it eliminates going back through emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this tracking/managing system!
Target Process is a great tool for managing my work items and keeping track of my time
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface because it is complex yet intuitive. Boasting a large set of features that eventually come in handy, while making them easy to find when you need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of really. Its design was well thought out through and through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At work we work on a Hospitality software and CRM. With several teams (Dev, QA, Business Personnel) target process is a quick, easy and reliable platform for all of us to communicate and classify different issues and tasks as they arise.
Great tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and visually nice to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes settings change on notifications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
QA organization. Not all the TP tools are useful
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it's the best i know of
TargetProcess, more like TargetAwesome!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to define how we view our process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. The learning curve is a bit steep at first. The site doesn't always refresh properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have an agile group, but are rather deadline-oriented, rather than sprint oriented, so the ability to work in a kanban fashion, but with things like start-end dates is fantastic.
Don't get intimidatet, start small and you'll see why TP is great
What do you like best about the product?
TP is extremely flexible. We started with a simple Kanban Prozess and are now striving to setup Project Management SAFe based.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is very steep, this wonderful peace of software does so much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing projects without a dedicated Project Manager. We need less meetings and get the job done with simple daily 5min max Standup Meetings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start small and simple.
Best tool for agile teams and organisations
What do you like best about the product?
It is possible to modify all processes in a way that it feeds the needs of an agile team. Not the tool defines your process - the team does, We have expierenced different tools, mainly Targetprocess and Jira. Targetprocess comes with the better UX, easier to learn and modify, scalable for bigger teams etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working together with clients is not well supportet. They started a help desk recently - need to have a look at it. And I am missing a comprehensive role concept for clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our software development projects with Targetprocess. That includes agile methods such as Kanban and Scrum. Other teams (non-software development) are using the tool to organise and visualize their tasks.
Visibility and customization
What do you like best about the product?
The best things in TargetProcess are visibility and customization. TargetProcess provides many examples of tickets views for planning, being up to date with daily tasks or for retrospective purposes. There are different levels to look at tickets: you can easily prioritize all the tickets on a backlog and you can plan each ticket separately. We needed customization, because our workflow is always a work in progress. TargetProcess enables customization of both: views and tickets.
Besides that, the UI is very intuitive. Tickets can be written with Markdown. There is an API, so you can perform regular remote backup.

What do you dislike about the product?
At first I missed retrospection views, but then reports were introduced and now you can e.g. make a chart of how many tickets were closed each month.
The only thing that bothers me now is the time needed to first open the TargetProcess in a new tab in a web browser. Apart from that, I see nothing to dislike.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have one team with scarce number of developers but we have a lot of projects and tickets. Our main problem was filtering and prioritizing the tickets so that we don't have to go through the list of not important tickets too often. TargetProcess enables that and also provides the views to see all the tickets of many projects on one board but also enables filtering out or inactivating a project.
Secondly, Kanban boards are of great importance for us. Thanks to them we can easily change a property of a ticket or relocate a user story between features. That is an irreplaceable help when you have a lot of tickets.
Thirdly, we know it too well that tickets times estimates are prone to mistakes and thus team sprints time boundaries change. In TargetProcess it is very easy to edit a team sprint start and end time, no need to tediously go through all the tickets of a team sprint.

It's really worth a try and can be of much help, once you set and customize some tickets views.
