Easy and quick
What do you like best about the product?
It's fantastic how quick it is to build a powerful database. It's also impressive how many new features have been implemented since I started using Airtable. Plus the Mac OS and iOS applications work really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike, I think I would like more views for the database but that is mostly an aesthetic issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable for project management in a team. Before we did not had a centralised platform where all the collaborators could view and edit projects and now we do. It's been much quicker and easy to share information between all the collaborators.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend to use the mobile and desktop applications.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive, and is incredibly useful to us for project management, project request information gathering and tracking, and hiring processes. We are loving the ability to easily configure the tables, store attachments, share information, and schedule events that will interface with our office calendars. It is easy to promote adoption of this application because it is so easy-to-use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have better ability to customize entry forms. Allowing form designers to customize the layout of these forms would help make the form entry easier, and more compelling, to complete.

Great alternative to Excel or GoogleSheets!
What do you like best about the product?
This program works exceptionally well as an easy "step-up" from having used Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets (or any other spreadsheet program for that matter). It isn't complicated like a lot of CRM programs are, but it can do everything (and more) that the CRM can.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning how to use the expanded features can be pretty time consuming. They have videos that explain how to use each and every aspect, but that can be slightly time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to add my co-workers to any specific database with any permission level I deem necessary. The information is updated in real time and can be worked on simultaneously with another person without glitches that I've noticed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time to watch as many of the tutorial videos as possible. They are worth the time, and if that time is invested, Airtable is a breeze and a joy to utilize!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Airtable is a beautifully designed tool that lets me implement my own collaborative, domain specific, streamline solutions to a variety of projects. For me, as a database professional, Airtable has proven to be incredibly empowering as I design workflows and mini-apps for the data intensive projects I get involved in. The idea of a intuitive, collaborative and online, and elegant relational database system hits the sweet spot for so many projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really comes to mind other they could work on their pricing structure so they are appropriate options for all scenarios
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a collaborative, database backed, information system, with online forms for our community street festivals to replace our unruly Google Doc system that we had built up over the years. It landed beautifully and our festival organizers and volunteers love it.

Try it for a small project that requires a database first to see the power

What do you like best about the product?
Availability as web app, for PC, Mac, Android an iOS. Easy to use and understand - no training required! Absolutely 100% reliable - once you add data, Airtable will not lose it. Crowd contribution and sharing is excellent!

Handling of dates in european format could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With more and more data accumulating over the years, spreadsheets were becoming increasingly insufficient for us. We knew we needed a database that was easy to handle, required minimum to no training for users and available on PC, Mac und mobile devices. Airtable did all that and more for us.
Fantastic! Airtable is intuitive and easy to use; but amazing powerful.
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily link spreadsheets to each other and transition seamlessly between views. And virtually no training is needed because it is so well designed.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, so good. I really have trouble thinking of potential improvements.

We are keeping a remote team of collaborators from different organizations organized on team.

What do you like best about the product?
Cross platform capability. Real time collaboration features. Customizable views to suit multiple users
What do you dislike about the product?
Cloud hosting makes interface slow and laggy. Cloud hosting also raises security concerns. No option for local hosting and no intention to offer it soon. Lack of integration with mainstream office applications such as Microsoft OneNote or outlook. Continued UI bugs - particularly with file attachment system. Customer service responds quickly but has yet to take seriously any reported bugs or requests for feature upgrades.

What do you like best about the product?
We like the simplicity of Airtable and ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the time that we have spent so far using Airtable, one wish would be to have the bases connected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using too many spreadsheets that were not connected. Airtable allows us to consolidate our information to a centralized location from where our team can collaborate.
Great for Visual Thinkers!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to view my tasks and plans in whatever visual mode my brain is feeling on a particular day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a small team option where I could admin a group account for my small non-profit team, rather than separate accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management! A huge part of my work is event and training planning, and airtable allows me to map out every piece in detail and keep myself on top of easy to forget tasks and contacts. The multiple view options, and the option for a column to refer back to another table is what really makes it above and beyond other task management options for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't set yourself up to rely on the software before you've had plenty of time to figure it out!
Organization & Interconnectivity Is Just...Wow
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link anything and everything to everything else, without being complicated and cumbersome. I can get the info I need quickly and easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just one thing...Airtable isn't HIPAA compliant...yet. I work in Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), and I'm still using it in my organization, but not to it's full potential. Once it becomes HIPAA Certified, there will be nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A level or organization and collaboration like never before, especially with project management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The only thing that's lacking, for healthcare purposes, is HIPAA Certification.
I also plan to implement this to manage the many projects at my church. I think this would be perfect for it!
