The Impartner Team is Great!

What do you like best about the product?
The Impartner Team is extremely helpful in all aspects. The team is innovative about programming and adding new features to the portal. We could not be efficient in running our channel program without the Impartner Team constantly making changes and customizing the platform for our partners. Our account manager is always responsive and helpful in any need we may have. This team works inclusively so that new aspects of the portal and implemented with ease and completely functional for our partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Impartner is great. I do believe the response time in support tickets can sometimes be lacking, but overall questions are answered through the portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have consolidated all aspects of our program to one platform. This platform supports training, revenue, integration, and (working towards) MDF. The platform is a one stop shop for our team to check the status of each partner and accurately depict their program level. With the most recent release of auto-tiering our partners know exactly what level they align in our program. If you do not use this platform to manage your partner channel, I would purchase today!

What do you like best about the product?
The combination between the software and the people is what makes our collaboration with Impartner a successful one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the fact that some bits and pieces were not easy to update and we had to rely on developers, but I trust that will change with time. The localization of content needs to be made easier - it can be worked through, until the enhancements will be implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great overview on the Partner Program at a global scale, better reporting than we used to have, better connections with our partners and of course, a better user experience for them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think of all the needs that your business has and communicate them with Impartner, most likely they will be able to provide the right solutions. Get your people trained and involved into the system as much as possible, since it's easy to use. Prepare your content and your data very well before uploading into the system, so that you don't have to make many changes. When all is done, get creative in the relationship with your partners and enjoy the results!

Modular design and excellent project management delivered our portal in less than 6 months

What do you like best about the product?
We chose Impartner after a selection process comparing multiple PRM vendors. The modular approach that Impartner has to their PRM has enabled us to launch our Mambu partner portal in less than six months to our ecosystem and partner community. The thorough project management and guidance provided by the Impartner team - in particular Olivier Choron and Dave Lyons - means the portal will cater to future growth and allow us to be flexible as the needs of our ecosystem and partner program change.
What do you dislike about the product?
The set-up of the email workflows can be a little confusing, but the support team are very helpful when needing assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not have a clear process for partners to register opportunities and then follow those through our CRM. We also wanted to improve the onboarding experience for partners, and provide them with a single go-to point for enablement, marketing, assets etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure you have a full grasp on what your business needs are so you can get the right modules. As we were building our partner program, we hadn't fully comprehended what we needed until we started to get into the implementation, so we had to make last minute changes.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility of the tool, if you can dream it you can make it happen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Should extend more the integration creating standard "receipt" and connectors to most common CRM and other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Partner Program communication, delivering a place where our Channel program can do business with us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are not a Salesforce customer take an hard look at the integration you may require in your eco-system.

Very Powerful PRM

What do you like best about the product?
Impartner is an amazingly powerful tool and can do wonderful things if you have the time and patience to trial and error everything and work out how things work in detail. Once you have it set up and functioning, you can then explore how to make things even better in terms of segmentation, functionality for partners, and ease of use for internal users. If you have time to dedicate to this, the world is truly your Oyster with PRM.The team are continually developing and releasing new modules and improvements based on feedback from their partners which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The step-by-step videos are helpful, but sometimes or are not updated when new features and functionality of the platform are released and so are no longer too helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables us to scale out promotions, marketing campaigns, new products, press releases, and news articles to each of our partner tiers /types and verticals using the segmentation tools in the portal. We cover 36 countries and 14 languages in the portal, as well as three different partners types, four different role types and then 4 different programme tiers to our partner programme, so scalability is key for our business, Impartner helps us achieve that effortlessly and easily with their segmentation tools so we get the right info to the right audience easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a plan together for Importing Data well before launch, do some trial uploads with a range of data (including company names, usernames etc with special characters and make sure you are comfortable with how to do this so there is no panic around launch day!!

What do you like best about the product?
Single global platform for all partners. Modular approach to pricing and licensing so you only pay for what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of the tools are fully integrated together so a new challenge managing user opt-out if using core portal, Marketing View and News on Demand

Global management of the Vertiv partner program enabling a global template to be used with regional customisation.

Great customer and partner experience

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly interface - both on the customer and partner side, tight integration with Salesforce, and just generally a great group of people to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there are some things that we'd love to have a little more user-control over, as opposed to creating tickets. But even there, the support team has always helped us out, so it's just a minor nit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engagement with the channel community, training, lead passing, and of course, registering opportunities. Overall, have seen significant engagement increase since we moved to IMPartner a few years ago.

What do you like best about the product?
Our Customer Success Account Manager is very responsive. If there are any questions he can't answer, he pulls the right people into calls & meetings to ensure we receive prompt answers. He demonstrates a keen interest in our company's goals for the platform and recommends solutions to achieve them. He explains the benefits and limitations of each module's capabilities to help us make informed buying & design decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our team encountered some delay in support ticket response times previously, and that may have been attributable to Impartner's rapid growth. Recent investment in additional resources may lessen support wait times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Impartner provides us with the ability to design directed, product training certification paths, and, monitoring and reporting on partner activities. Our big win is in the automation of tasks that previously required internal resource monitoring and management. Automated notifications, journeys and targeted reporting will equate to less daily oversight while providing quantitative and qualitative data for more productive quarterly service reviews with our external partners.

Still a few quirks, but perfect for what we need

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of building out the Partner Portal has been the best part of Impartner. I was able to build out 20+ dynamic pages for our partners to reference sales and marketing materials, learn about our program, and receive product and technical enablement. I was able to do all of without needing to know HTML. In times that I needed additional support or something seemed "broken," Impartner's support and implementation teams were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly quick. They were waiting on us more often then us waiting on them!
What do you dislike about the product?
The PRM side could use more flexibility and easier UI for our CAMs to use. It has been difficult for our Channel Account Manager to quickly adopt this as a platform for managing the relationships with the partners. It's helpful for them to reference some key information, but they tend to use other tools for tracking on-going activities and engagements. If there were more robust email tracking, document storage, and integrations, we would use Impartner as the "source of truth" for our partner relationships. For now, that is still SFDC, but we rely heavily on Impartner as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Impartner has allowed us to easily build and maintain a partner portal for our partner community. This has provided a one-stop-shop and self-service resource, dramatically decreasing the number of "how to" emails that are sent in from partners. Additionally, we are using Impartner for a partner directory and new partner applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Works even better when you integrate with other software like Smartsheet and Salesforce
