Customisable email templates and native CTAs, but Starter is limited and upgrades get pricey

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm using Hubspot's Marketing Hub Starter package, which has very limited capabilities. One thing I do like, though, is its e-mail templates. Those are very easy to set up and greatly speed up the process.

Another great feature is its customisable CTAs (pop-ups, slide-ins, and buttons). There are many templates to choose from; find the one that best suits your needs. I've used the CTA pop-ups from HubSpot on my Elementor website, and since the data collection is native to HubSpot, you can skip linking apps like Zapier or Make.
What do you dislike about the product?
The starter version is very limited in what it offers, and the price becomes very expensive once you have to upgrade from the starter package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The true strength of HubSpot lies not in the individual hubs, but in how they work together to create a great product. I use the core CRM hub the most, with its contacts and deals, etc., but when I need to expand, the various hubs, including Marketing Hub, help keep my processes connected and seamless. I don't need three different tools to manage email campaigns, leads, and deals — HubSpot neatly handles all of that in one place.

Intuitive and Consolidated Platform, But Pricey

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the intuitive UI of HubSpot Marketing Hub. It's very user-friendly, with features like the design manager allowing me to create EDMs easily. The drag-and-drop builder is fantastic, enabling me to customize and create really good-looking emails simply, without needing to use HTML. It makes creating professional emails accessible for everyone, which is something I really appreciate. Also, it's great how everything can be consolidated into one platform, allowing the marketing team to manage social content, ads, and website tasks efficiently all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
SMS not being available in New Zealand is a big one. Previously, we've had to connect other service providers, and it's been a bit ugly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot Marketing Hub consolidates our marketing efforts, allowing us to manage social media, ads, and website content in one platform. It's easy to use and teaches new people quickly. The drag-and-drop builder makes creating attractive emails accessible without needing HTML skills.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use HubSpot Marketing Hub for all our marketing and EDMs. I appreciate how it streamlines all our customer interaction and data into one easy-to-use interface. The EDM designer is great, and I find the interface really easy to use, which makes segmenting customer lists a breeze. It allows regular contact with clients, sharing new products and ideas effectively. I also think it's cheaper and has a nicer interface compared to Salesforce Pardot, and it was very easy to implement, despite some teething issues over the first fortnight, but it's been all good since.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - very happy!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot Marketing Hub streamlines all our customer interaction and data into one easy-to-use interface. It allows regular contact with clients, sharing new products and ideas efficiently.

It's easy to use and makes a lot of my processes more efficient by allowing tasks to come directly into my inbox. HubSpot’s Unified Ecosystem Makes Automation and Revenue Reporting Effortless

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is HubSpot’s unified ecosystem. By housing email, social, and SEO under one roof, it eliminates data silos. Its visual automation builder and Breeze AI tools make sophisticated, behavior-based nurturing feel intuitive, while the closed-loop reporting provides clear, undeniable proof of marketing's impact on revenue.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest pain point is the steep price jumps between tiers; moving from Starter to Professional is a massive financial leap. Additionally, while the UI is clean, the platform’s complexity can lead to "feature bloat," and advanced reporting often requires a technical setup that isn't as "plug-and-play" as advertised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot Marketing Hub primarily solves the problem of fragmented data and marketing-to-revenue attribution. By unifying tools like email, SEO, and social media into a single CRM-powered ecosystem, it eliminates "Frankenstein" tech stacks where data is trapped in silos.

For me, the benefit is clarity. With its advanced multi-touch attribution, I can see exactly which blog post or LinkedIn ad actually closed a deal, not just who clicked. Features like Breeze AI and behavioral workflows further benefit me by automating repetitive nurturing, allowing me to deliver a "human" experience at scale without manual effort.

Streamlines Marketing with Robust Automation

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use HubSpot Marketing Hub for all marketing activities, including landing pages, form submission, email automation, and reporting. A major benefit is having all our data in one place, which serves as a source of truth for us. I really like the ability to track lead activities across our digital assets, from ad clicks to webpage visits to conversion. The workflows are something I really appreciate, as we use them for almost everything. They help us keep our audiences clean and organized by automating processes such as audience type, contact owner, and subscription type, which allows us to run separate marketing activities and tailor messages efficiently. It would be incredibly time-consuming to do all that manually. Plus, the initial setup of HubSpot Marketing Hub was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Form design in the sense of having more aesthetic freedom (font family that fits the brand, spacing between headline and text input, etc) and marketing reports, which are, in my opinion, not that intuitive. Report creation is not intuitive. I had to spend a lot of time combining different fields (properties) just to produce a basic report that still does not answer many of the questions we have about the customer journey. Another feature that's missing (or faulty) is the ability to track data from a specific point in time (for example, Dec 15, 2025, when we launched the activity), but my report starts on January 1, 2025. In other words, the report looks cluttered; I have a lot of empty space on the left, while the numbers on the right appear crowded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot Marketing Hub consolidates our data into a single source of truth and automates workflows, saving us time. I can track lead activities effectively and organize audiences, which aids in running tailored marketing activities.
