Convenient Social Media Scheduling Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to schedule posts in advance via HubSpot. Because I manage so many different social media accounts on so many different social media platforms, posting one thing at a time would take forever and waste so much time. Instead, I am able to very clearly map out all of an account's posts weeks in advance. I also love that I can post duplicate content on multiple Facebook or Instagram accounts at the same time. One of the best features of HubSpot's social media scheduler is that it shows you what times already have a post scheduled on any given day. This helps prevent conflicting posts at the exact same time on an account and ensures I am scheduling posts throughout the day to maintain engagement on the account in question.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple drawbacks to HubSpot's social media tool versus other scheduling tools. First, you cannot post image carousels (multiple images in one post) to Instagram via the HubSpot platform. This limits what we can do and limits our ability to easily test different post types to see which ones perform the best. I've also notices that sometimes the formatting of a post caption in HubSpot does not show up correctly once in the caption on the actual platform's post. For example, sometimes I will type multiple lines or paragraphs on an Instagram post, but all of the spaces between lines get removed once it has been published on the social media platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to do a lot of social media testing via HubSpot. The analytics tools and exportable reports allow me to dig into the data to determine all kinds of performance metrics like the best days and times to post for the most engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whenever possible, try to compare and contrast different social media scheduling tools via free trials before you commit to paying for one. That way you can be confident you are getting everything you need and that you can work around any potential limitations.
Makes scheduling social so much easier and less time consuming
What do you like best about the product?
I hated having social on a different platform, but the new socail options in hubspot allow us to do that now. the new tools for the editing of photos is great! and I love that I can now add video. Makes scheduling so much easier. I love email marketing and list options. reports are pretty thorough, gives me a nice overview of analytics. Design tools are getting better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to go from draft to posting multiple platform posts instead of cloning and deleting original. right now it saves the draft and often I forget I already scheduled. design tools are still not the most intuitive. I wish it was easier to create and modify templates, not sure why it is still so difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is much easier to schedule our social media within hubspot than it used to be and I love having it in the same place as all my other stuff. I need to use campaigns better, but that's just our internal limitation. we are able to work between sales and marketing better now that we are all on one system. I love having a sales team that also love to use hubspot. All our data and lists in the same place helps us work together better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
try it. It's not a fit for every business, but if it is a fit for you it is the best most comprehensive tool you will find.
Hubspot - Efficient and Worthy
What do you like best about the product?
I love the HUG meetups! Every Quarter we attend an informal gathering of other Hubspot users in our area. We get to network, learn new techniques and really just have a nice time with peers! I love attending these, and bringing new colleagues with me each time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many things I don't like Hubspot is easy to use and makes my job as a social media manager SO MUCH EASIER. I can schedule really far out in advance, and manage everything with one little tool. Overall though, I don't have any complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are slowly but surely resolving the communication issues between sales and marketing with Hubspot. The fact that both of our teams can view and work together in one place is extremely beneficial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is an extremely effective and easy to use tool for getting multiple departments together. The communication aspect of Hubspot is perfect for small teams, steadily growing companies, and even large corporations.
Great tool with a lot of power
What do you like best about the product?
That everything is tied together- I can email someone, then target social ads to those that clicked on something in that email and customize a landing page for those same people.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have the Marketing Hub, which makes doing anything with payment difficult. We still haven't worked out how to work around this and attribute $ in to their HubSpot contact record, which makes ROI pretty difficult to determine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We able to automate some reminder emails, which saves our team a lot of time. We've also seen an uptick in open rates in our newsletter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a plan to integrate with an existing database if you plan to keep it, we are not suing HubSpot as a database of record and are still working on how to share information between the two systems.
Easy to Use Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use HubSpot. Anytime I have questions, their support is helpful. Chat support is always my go to everyone is helpful and it just auto creates a ticket if you step away or take too long to respond so your conversation is never "lost".
What do you dislike about the product?
With how easy of a tool to use and understand, it's also got some limitations. Our IT team creates a lot of custom APIs for integrations and that is great but if a smaller team didn't have this bandwith, it might be extra limited. However, all tools have limitations so it's something to be aware of to fully check out before buying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving sales tracking and marketing tracking problems by having information all in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a cost effective solution for small companies and mid market companies that want to make sure all their data is in one spot and talks together between sales and marketing.
Hubspot is great for social media management, monitoring, and reporting.
What do you like best about the product?
I love it's scheduling tool. You write a post for LinkedIn and attach the creative. When you click on the Twitter icon, it automatically begins a new post for Twitter with the same copy and creative from your previous post. While I usually change copy for different platforms, the fact that it carries over the image is very helpful. And it's scheduling works well, suggesting times or allowing you to enter a custom posting time.
I also love the ability to set up social streams. I can keep an eye on Twitter hashtags, mentions of our brand name, and the use of key words within our industry.
Competitor streams is also very nice. I like that I can see engagement stats (in form of a percentage) when viewing competitor streams. It helps me gauge my effectiveness against some bigger players in the industry.
The ability to manage multiple accounts is also useful (brand accounts, exec accounts, etc.). I love being able to seamlessly switch back and forth between the two. It saves me a lot of time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be better. It's good as it is, but I wish I could get more granular with social media reporting.
I am also not a huge fan of how I am not able to tag users in LinkedIn. I understand that it's not really up to Hubspot, as LinkedIn does not allow user tagging, but it's an undeniable negative when using the feature. Tagging other users is extremely important in some cases, and the lack of this feature forces me to go on the platform itself to post. Not the worst thing, but it takes me out of the flow.

I'm able to schedule posts all at once so that I can focus on other job duties. It's great, and it's reliable. I never have to double check Hubspot to make sure that it worked properly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're team is on the smaller side and you are worried about bandwidth, Hubspot is perfect for managing multiple facets of marketing all in one place.
HubSpot Has It All
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the ability to customize not only my outreach, but also integrate it with tools I use every day like outlook, WordPress, ZoomInfo. The data that we are able to collect is also vital in monitoring our effectiveness in order to adjust accordingly to help our business succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the workflows had an auto-unenroll option when someone responded similarly to the sequences. As someone who wears multiple hats, it's hard to monitor multiple sources of outreach when they have different triggers. I also would like it if it had an archive option where you can clean your contacts up more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are easily able to see our full-funnel from inbound leads to closed deals and identify weaknesses or places we can optimize. It's helpful to also see past history of a contact that we reengage with to know where we left off.
Mostly good, could be more intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality of the forms and the ability to send mass emails. The combination of the functionalities of the marketing emails and the workflows make my life easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email templates feature under "conversations" is very weak. You can basically only type the text, with none of the features we would logically need (although those ARE available for marketing emails). The lists and workflows can be unnecessarily complicates due to some oversights (for example, not being able to merge "if/then" parameters). The system is missing many intuitive features like the ability to merge deals, and it often fails to populate information between deals, companies, and contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time. I would spend far more time if I had to send emails out one by one. Also the reports and filters features can be very useful for getting analytics sometimes as opposed to just breaking out of the ol' excel spreadsheet
HubSpot keeps all of our CRM data in one place for easy access across teams
What do you like best about the product?
I think HubSpot does an amazing job at organizing leads and allowing me to build workflows segmenting leads for follow up emails and for assigning sales staff to do outreach and contacting. Being able to set up lists, use the lead scores and to import/export data into Salesforce allows us to be efficient and diligent in following up with potential marketing qualified leads.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing we've moved away from is using HubSpot as our blog. After moving over to the same tool we use for our main website, the functionality offered seemed limited in terms of design even though it integrated into the HubSpot lead activities. I think the blog capabilities might be something HubSpot could do away with to focus more on sales tools within the program
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to identify the interest of our leads to know who we should focus more on marketing to and who is ready to follow up with sales. Being able to create our lead funnel and set up activities for all the stages has helped us get a better handle as a team on who should be stepping in at different touch points.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think HubSpot is the most concise CRM tool out there, with easy to use menus and navigation and a super active support team that is always available to walk you through any specific setups you want to create for your organization.
Social Media Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I work at a SaaS start up as a content creator. I own social media content and scheduling, but of course wear so many different hats that I need my social tool to move as fast as I do. HubSpot gives me the flexibility to post now, or schedule them for a later date. It has all of the functionalities I need, without all the fluff of other social tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain limitations when it comes to interacting with comments and retweets in HubSpot. I'd like a more robust interface where it takes me into the social platform itself and I can dive deeper into engagement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot helps me solve the problem of scheduling posts when I am OOO or otherwise. I love this tool that helps me to not put more work on my colleagues, even when I am on vacation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore your options and decide which features of social management are need to have vs. nice to have. Hubspot has both covered, and then some.
