Good tool, helpful learning platform, great IT support.
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice having ads, blog, landing pages, forms and emails managed in one place. The scheduling features are nice (immediately, in future, time zone) and list creation features are easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email and landing page creation tools - having to create templates to design anything is a PAIN and a drag & drop feature would be MUCH EASIER. It would take far less time to create all of the emails needed to just clone existing emails and edit with drag/drop than have to pick a template, clone it if there's a slight change, and then adjust all of the default copy.
Would also like the ability to have more dashboards in the reporting section or be able to monitor "this person submitted this form because they received this email" in an easier way than you can do now. Not just creating a goal saying "this person submitted this form after X date", but not necessarily BECAUSE they were sent that email.

Implementing your lead generation/content marketing efforts in one place and having a place to track all initiatives.
To get the most, you have to be all-in with HubSpot
What do you like best about the product?
When you use the entire HubSpot ecosystem - crm, ma, cms, blog... it is a great product that can do some pretty powerful things. Hubspot is a great education company and their customer support is strong.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't use the whole ecosystem there are great integrations, but the value is limited significantly. Many companies are oversold by zealous sales reps and find their expectations are not quite met when they get into the product so I would just suggest that the sales team better manage expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, my company is using the platform as a Marketing Automation platform, building landing pages, sending emails and reviewing performance analytics. The platform is easy to use which enables our in-house team to implement quickly without too much heavy lifting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Every company has different needs, if you like to have one system that does everything for you, HubSpot is the way to go. Even if you don't, there is great value in their tools. Just make sure you aren't beeing oversold.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked that hubspot helped to organize email sequences so that we could amplify things that worked and share them across the org. It has also helped with automating repetitive emails, for example after a demo, to expedite that process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there should be hubspot training when you first login so you can maximize the tool. I was not trained on it and had an incredibly difficult time using it to its fullest potential. There is also a % completed checklist that is incredibly annoying as a rep because the sequence of things we did were different than the sequence hubspot had set up. There was constantly an incomplete % and no way to turn it off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot is a great email marketing automation tool and that is the primary function I have found useful. I am confident Hubspot has a ton to offer, it can just be an overwhelming interface for someone who has not been exposed or trained.
Marketing Automation Made Easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot offers an array of tools that our team uses on a daily basis. We use the deal section on a weekly basis to review active deals with our sales team and senior leadership team. We also send out a bi-weekly newsletter that we built in Hubspot to investors and contacts. We use the social media tools daily to promote our blogs and overall messaging. The reporting tools are used daily to monitor our site and social activity. We are able to easily contact Hubspot when we have any questions or need any assistance. This exerience has been great, and our team couldn't be happier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our team is fully emersed in the Hubspot system. There have not been any complaints from anybody on our team. We continue to learn more, use more features and add more users. I could not think of anything bad to say about our experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to run an entire marketing team with minimal staff because of the help of Hubspot. We use the tool to continuously pump out our messaging to the world. We use Hubspot to build newsletters, create our social posts, landing pages, create chat flows, etc. We have realized that everything we are doing on a digital marketing scale can be done directly through Hubspot. We have had over 28,000 site visits, and we are easily able to show this success to our C-suite because of Hubspot. Our numbers have only been increasing, and we truly believe that much of that success comes from the help of Hubspot. We will continue to utilize the tools, and grow our company using this great system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot has made marketing automation super easy for our team. We are not marketing experts, however, we have all began to feel as if we are. We are continuously learning, and being given new features from Hubspot. Our team grows as the Hubspot system grows. We love everything about it.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use within the Hubspot platform is second to none, I love the way that it works seemlessly from emails to social to workflows. My favourite part has to be the workflows, I love automation - and the Hubspot system makes it so easy to build
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to customise the contact records a bit more and layout the screen a bit differently so I can highlight really important fields to sales people (by putting them at the top of their screen for example) - but that is because I'm used to using other CRM products that do that :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hubspot for management of our entire lead to deal process and marketing automation. We are solving the issue of having too many sources of data to enable us to easily manage the process in one place including campaign management, content marketing, social media and email.
Good software, gets expensive quick depending on needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like that they offer a free plan for smaller companies and the interface is very user friendly and clean. It's pretty easy to navigate through and they're support is *usually* very responsive. They offer a good amount of services and different portals, as well as extras like email editors (they recently added a drag and drop which is great) and blog hosting, landing pages etc. I like they are constantly adding new things, actively updating and making changes to the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Now onto the not so good...I dislike that once you get past the initial or minimum features, you'll start to get nickel and dimed on every turn. They really need to up there record allowance without the hefty fees. The free plan has unlimited records, but once you are paying because you need other features not included on the free plan (like campaign management and sales tracking/sequence emails etc.) they charge you per every additional 1k (after initial 20k I think?)...This adds up quickly, if you keep in mind that you have to keep everyone stored here, even useless contacts who have unsubscribed or opted out. One other issue is the tracking revenue through campaigns -- sometimes it is not accurate, which seems like a big issue, but it hasn't been resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a CRM to keep updated and accurate records, as well as a lot of marketing efforts. We are able to send bulk emails, start campaigns, a/b test, and track sales data in one spot which is great.
Good CRM for a free platform
What do you like best about the product?
Nice that it is free, well designed and stylish/on-trend dashboard. Works on mobile and support is fairly responsive which is a positive, especially for larger businesses. Really great blog and content marketing around it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feels a bit clunky and old school compared to the competition. Things dont feel extremely responsive and there is a lot that they offer, but none of it feels very complete. It's like the jack of all trades platform for marketing, but I think most people are moving towards more elegant tools that are separate but super powerful for their purpose.

Customer relationship management software for a SaaS company. Nice tool for a free offering.

Give it a try, their free plan is OK and we're still in the implementation process at the moment.
Hubspot is user friendly and free for small business
What do you like best about the product?
I am the sort of person who'd rather NOT read the manual, and just jump in instinctively. Hubspot is one of the more user friendly CRMs I've ever tried. The fact that you can get so many functions without having to immediately start paying for it is GREAT. How do you know if you will like something if you can't really try it fully? Also Hubspot Academy is a nice feature. I am genuinely motivated to learn more through this interface, and it'll make me a better marketer and leader.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if this is Hubspot in particular, or just the nature of CRMs, but it's been a little confusing to understand how the data fields sync up when you import. The lingo is slightly different from other CRMs, so it would be nice if there was a cheat sheet (or maybe there is and I couldn't find it quickly) to explain what a "lead" vs. a "deal" is and other terms that mean slightly different things in other databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building a company on a global level and I am in charge of sales and marketing. It is very easy to lose track of things when they start to grow quickly. I love the email and Linkedin integration. Now I just need to do better with tracking and building the system.

Take the time to set it up and go through the tutorials, or ask an experienced user to help.

What do you like best about the product?
Every person that comes in contact for the business that I work for gets recorded into HubSpot immediately. It is user friendly and allows you to create lists of daily tasks and send company emails with your own professional templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
They keep coming out with new things and changes which can make it hard to keep up with HubSpot, This might not always be a bad thing but if its not broken why bother trying to fix it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot has turned me into an even more organized person giving me the tools I need to keep everything on track. All of my customers are in one spot and every email is saved. This is great because you can always look back for references.

What do you like best about the product?
It houses all of my communication tools in one place: email, social, reports, forms, ... The platform is robust but also user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything right now. I love using HubSpot Marketing.

It helps me communicate to a variety of audiences in a targeted way. I can see what campaigns are working, so it helps me strategize what is next.
