We leverage HubSpot for all inbound marketing efforts
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is our go-to tool for inbound marketing and nurturing our leads through their various stages of growth. This has fundamentally changed our marketing reporting and ability to understand the full scope of the customer journey. It also integrates directly with CallTrackingMetrics, which allows us to tie in call, text and form conversions from our own platform. We have been using HubSpot for over a year and love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are finding the attribution reporting to be a little challenging. It would be great to be able to identify which leads were coming from Google Display vs. Search, and Facebook vs. LinkedIn. Right now the reporting is broken out at a higher level: Paid Search, Paid Social. If we could get one level deeper in our source reports- that would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to build our entire inbound marketing strategy on HubSpot, and this has made it so easy to personalize our outreach. Plus, with all of the integrated tools inside of HubSpot's app network- we are able to pass data where we need it most. We also use HubSpot to manage all of our social media posts and to build landing pages for our ad campaigns. It's allowed us to consolidate tools internally and it's great to have everything in one place!
A great platform for mid-sized B2B companies
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly intuitive and the UI is fantastic. It makes it easy to manage all clients in one place and visually see where they're all at in the funnel. It's incredibly easy to create custom attributes to track specific needs for your business. Support is also very helpful and always available to schedule a call. It's also great to be able to create easily editable templates with modules. It makes creating emails a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if each contact could have a custom user ID associated with their information. We made a custom preference center that we wanted to dynamically update using a user ID but we had to make our own work-around using cookies. It would be nice to be able to AB test on small groups. With HubSpot, you must have at least 1,000 contacts within a list in order to send an AB test.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a lot easier to use than our last system, ClickDimensions. Our account teams have been able to keep their contacts more up to date since we made the switch. HubSpot support is also very helpful. We haven't had any issues so far that require immediate attention from HubSpot. With our last platform, they had all sorts of sending delays and reliability issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at the cost vs the benefits.
An easy-to-learn tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about HubSpot is that it is easy to learn and implement. It has a great user interface which is intuitive in many aspects. HubSpot has a top-notch knowledge base where one can learn about the different tools. In the cases which the answers are not crystal clear, the HubSpot support is always handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think HubSpot is a work in progress and they still need to add many useful features to their tools. For instance, one cannot add tracking codes to the knowledge base as of now. Similarly, the workflow system can be improved by adding features like "wait until something happens."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WIth HubSpot, I was able to create SEO strategies and more than doubled the traffic to the website through Google. Furthermore, I used the analysis tools to find issues with email delivery. I created a workflow that send timely emails to our new customers, among many more benefits that our team received from using HubSpot.
Hubspot, not everything but what you need as a startup
What do you like best about the product?
It is super helpful that Hubspot has a broad feature set to manage multiple functions. Hubspot does not have every possible feature but does offer the core of what a startup needs to communicate track, and services its customers. Your help, specifically the folks behind your chat. They are amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data reporting. This is such a critical part of the tool yet it does not seem that much effort or work has gone into this. The reporting functionality does not even mirror the richness that the "List" generating capabilities are, specifically allowing nested logic (Aka and/or statements). This is poor in terms of what one can execute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
email marketing, student (our customers) tracking and reporting. We have been able to organize and have a more consistent and smooth communication and workflow for our users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand it's limitations and ensure they are not critical items for your business.
Highly recommended for any B2B to scale up
What do you like best about the product?
Almost all the features are top notch, but if I had to choose one, it will be it's workflows. You can create multiple automations within minutes. The automation capability is unmatchable, while CRM and CMS are upto the demands of the industry at this point of time. Email sending capabilities, social tools, chatbots deserve a mention as well for it's highly competitive and problem solving nature.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the CMS tool, HubSpot could have given many more templates in it's marketplace. Right now, templates from HubSpot are subpar, while those from independent users do not cover all the requirements. You need to have a developer if you're to design a template, while this can easily be avoided if there were some high quality templates from HubSpot itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using the CRM capabilties to it's fullest, centralized repository of all the hot and cold leads, existing customers. People in various stages of buying cycle are triggered different communication at various stages, and this has really helped us to re-activate dead leads, and cross-sell other services to existing customers with efficient use of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make a list of problems you are looking to solve, and make sure most of these are in-built features.
I say this because plenty of things are doable through several workarounds, but if you're doing that a lot, you might create complications in the longer term.
Having said that, it's a great tool for any B2B company, and you will find most of your problems solvable. If you do get stuck, the support is great. Also their knowledge base repository, i.e. knowledge.hubspot.com has answers available to almost 95% of your queries.

Best Marketing tool there is.
What do you like best about the product?
It is not easy to find a CRM that combines almost all of your requirements to customize and track the Buyer's Journey for your business. This is where HubSpot steps in.
One of the best things about HubSpot is the fact that for free, you are able to use some incredibly important features to control the buyer's journey for your business. From visitor to customer.
The importance of having such a polished CRM is not to be underestimated. Ever.
The paid versions are incredible enough to add the possibility of background automation that will do the job for you in almost every aspect.
I am speaking as a person that uses almost 500 Workflows (the current limit) and I can't get enough of this feature!
Even if you have a CRM currently, you must at least try HubSpot for a week.

What do you dislike about the product?
As with every CRM, my needs are mostly unique to the business and HubSpot does not have absolutely everything covered that I want.
An example would be the fact that all emails created for contact nurture are currently unavailable to be used as Thank You emails via the landing page menu.
I hope this will be implemented soon, but it's still an existing issue.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My biggest challenge has always been the visibility of EVERYTHING.
Contact progression, conversion, source and ROIs.
We've easily tackled this with HubSpot's tools (contact view and smart lists).

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not hesitate. It's totally worth it!
Complete but not very friendly to use
What do you like best about the product?
It's really complete and we like a lot the possibility to get all metrics of multiple campaigns in one instrument. Also the possibility to manage different steps in team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automation tool often requires multiple workflow to set routine tasks, the lack of the tags and the few options are the principal issues in my job. Often we need support from a developer for setting up pages like we would.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I set up marketing workflow and process for the sales department to manage customer relations. It's very practical to have everything in one place, especially for sharing the information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it on your routine tasks
A great marketing automation tool for users at all levels
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and design along with training available at all steps is the best thing I like about HubSpot. The platform is designed for beginners first so it is extremely easy to understand. There is also a great community of similar users who are always ready to help. I have used many CRM and automation tool from cheap to enterprise-level expensive ones and all have their pros and cons. But the level of support that I have seen in Hubspot as a tool, I have not seen in any other tools. The user interface is something I like a lot too compared to other software out there. I think this is the biggest benefit I like about this tool in general. UX that makes even the most complex workflows easy to understand and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It tends to get too expensive once you start using it for all the features. Once you start using the tools and get dependent on them, you keep exploring other add ons. The add ons can get really expensive unless you can work with a salesperson to get a deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating customer lists and automating email campaigns to them. This used to be done manually before. Now all of it is automated. The best thing is that I can also train someone easily to take over if I am not around.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool to set up email campaigns, automate communication, create landing pages, etc.
HubSpot is the best CRM and automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, excellent customer support, lots of flexibility and many options for personalization and tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really. I find HubSpot super easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
lead generation, email marketing, pop up advertising.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
dive in. you cannot really fail.
Hubspot is leading contender in marketing automation platforms for the best price.
What do you like best about the product?
Workflows and integrations. Building robust tech stacks to accomplish almost any business need and openly sharing data. Hubspot can help you clean inconsistent data and maintain clean data. I love having a tool capable of executing, near as possible, a complete marketing plan for a single contact as they move through the buyer's journey without feeling like I am spamming them to the point of annoyance. I like products and services that work and can be sold on their own merits. Hubspot puts the right information in front of a contact at the right time and is a platform which is highly intuitive and easy to pick up for even a non-tech savy person right out the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes something that would seem like obvious functionality doesn't exist in the platform. I can port over templates, landing pages, and emails to other Hubspot accounts but I can't port over forms or contact properties. This limits production environments from offering true 1:1 testing spaces for campaigns and assets.
Reporting tools are far less intuitive than the other portions of the platform. There are also historical restrictions on the reports to 30 days in some cases.
Also, I wish I could bundle assets like workflows and emails into various business units. We host many domains but everything is lumped together in these tools. If you give me the ability to create business units then everything should be able to be grouped by those business units.
Property management. When working in a tech stack we often see bulk changes in the accepted values on properties. Currently, there are no simple, non-manual, methods of removing values in bulk and updating them in bulk.

Cleaning a contact database that has been sorely managed for years. Creating year over year data driven marketing plans with this new highly engaged database of contacts. Finding new streams of revenue and opportunities to leverage contacts who match our buying personas and interact with them at each step in the buyers journey.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The sky really is the limit. Hubspot's pricing and platform scale easily to meet the needs of small businesses and large ones. The days of spamming and thowing marketing tactics at a wall to see what sticks are over. Data driven marketing with reporting and real-time dashboards can show businessess what works best for them and how to get better at doing what they do best.
