What do you like best about the product?
In my work, it is very helpful to have a shared document where colleagues can all make updates to the same document at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish changes would save automatically (versus having to manually click file, save).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the problem of not allowing multiple users to edit a single document at once. In my work, there are projects that multiple colleagues are working on at once. Being able to make updates to the document in real time so others are aware of the status's of tasks, what still needs to get done, etc. is super helpful in our day to day work.

This product is fantastic!! We use it in so many different ways, scheduling, payroll, milage tracking, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications are sometimes delayed to send.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, too many to describe! Smartheets is AMAZING!!

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has a great capacity to make your work more intuitive; the workspaces you can create can be easily managed, and it is a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
On some occasions, it takes too much time to refresh or update information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to identify changes, and it takes less time to get things done on my end.
It's convenient to organize notes that can easily be shared with team members.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a convenient place to organize and track project lists, notes, action items, milestones. Each team member can update independently but everyone can see what is happening at any time. Files and photos can also easily be shared across the team or even outside organization members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to log-in online each time. An app might be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily keeps a great tracking list of all the different projects our team is working on and their different stages.

I like that it's very Excel-like in presentation and supports the following:

What do you dislike about the product?
Not-quite-Excel syntax is frustrating and hard to debug. Automation workflows don't always trigger for unknown reasons, and do not contain enough conditional logic. 300 row copy/paste limits restrict utility for some operations. Sorting behavior for columns with dropdown values is weird.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with others and providing data in a way that can be shared and tranformed using APIs.

What do you like best about the product?
its a smart version of excel. I love to be able to assign tasks within smartsheet and it keeps track of all changes and history. I also love the ability to control what I share with others in the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automations can have a little more features and the messaging can be a little more user friendly like when we refer to a column we have to apply special brackets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WE build out the sheet and its automations so now parties get pinged when there is an action item for them as opposed to being CCd in emails and folks are missing information before they proceed. It also eleviates my team from gathering the data from others. More departments have adopted Smartsheet for the same reason.

What do you like best about the product?
possibility to create dashboards with just a few clicks, (almost) full excel functionalities but easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
small companies cannot afford it because of cutting costs reasons.

visibility, ease to use, i can organize better the files
The most user friendly way to manage projects
What do you like best about the product?
I work with Smartsheet almost daily, it helps me keep track of my projects, it makes it super easy to create project plans, UAT trackers, and every other kind of work management you could think of. The forms and automations make working with users outside of your organization as easy as it gets. Also the templates are incredibly helpful, only for very fringe cases do I end up creating something from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is slightly steeper for formulas than one would expect for a solution that's SO user friendly in every other aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me ensure timely and active collaboration in projects, by managing both internal and external resources, assigning work and keeping track of it, and providing super easy ways to ensure all the stakeholders are aligned and communication flows in every direction needed.

It is very user friendly, and really like the ghatt charts

No downsides, at the moment have not found any issues .

line limit of 20000, not being able to set an image in a cell, lengthy v look ups to bring in set columns from a row
