Great Storage Cloud Software!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Egnyte is easy to use and has lots of storage for our files.

How things are titled (extra characters won't get saved)

not much, but my company has a lot of folders so its hard to keep track.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it very easy once it is installed.
What do you dislike about the product?
From an admin perspective, I dislike that it takes some time to get licenses add from resellers. Also, once a person leave the company, you need to remove their license or else you have a bunch of ghost licenses that you are paying for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m trying to help my clients install egnyte and help them access folders they need access to.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool for storing and organizing files, and it's great for sharing those files with co-workers or clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not very user-friendly -- people tend to download files when they only actually intended to view them. (That's the only complaint we get from clients when we send links.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It works great for transferring large files, and it's a really good way to keep a project's files together and easily share those files with others.

Use from multiple sites can create long folder paths, which can sometimes restrict access or not allow files to open

Unique Way To Store
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that with egnyt you have the option to store both publicly and privately
What do you dislike about the product?
Egnyte has an interface that is kind of confusing at first and comes off as a lot. This can be hard for some people. Also the editing within egnyte between multiple users isn't up to par as some other companies are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to upload entire folders and not just singular documents making it easier for my team to see and go through.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A training session for employees would be an important thing. Base the decision on the size of your company and your employers willingness to learn a whole new platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I have a secure place to easily store all my files. Egnyte helps me back up my files easily so I don't have to worry about losing my work. I can also easily share files with team members and external contacts and assign the level of access I choose.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced any features I dislike.

Collaboration, sharing and security.

Make sure the file sharing is properly set up for your business.
Very helpful for our annual audit.

Uploads are fast, directory structure is easy to establish. Security is pretty easy to establish to limit access and type of activities the user can perform
What do you dislike about the product?
The system sends out notifications of files that have been added to the site during the day. However, it does not include any of your uploads in that notification - which would be helpful sometimes. Can not see how that can be configured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a repository of files requested by our external auditors, makes it much easier than emailing files.
