What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about Egnyte is its combination of secure file sharing, collaboration, and data governance capabilities. It makes it easy to access, organize, and share files across teams while maintaining strong security controls. The platform offers excellent permission management, seamless synchronization, and reliable access to files from different devices. I also appreciate how it integrates with commonly used business applications, making collaboration more efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?

One area that could be improved is the initial setup and administration, which can be somewhat complex for new users. Some advanced features require time to learn and configure properly. Additionally, syncing very large folders can occasionally impact performance, especially in environments with limited bandwidth.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Egnyte solves the challenge of securely storing, managing, and sharing business files across distributed teams. Instead of relying on multiple storage locations, it provides a centralized platform with strong access controls and collaboration features. This helps improve productivity, simplifies document management, enhances data security, and ensures that team members can access the latest version of files whenever they need them.

What do you like best about the product?

We are a billing company and have been using Egnyte for many years. I appreciate it as a secure, HIPAA-compliant folder for sharing HPI between our team and our clients (doctors). It’s also a very user-friendly tool overall. The drag-and-drop feature is especially useful, and I often use it much like Windows File Explorer. Also I like comments feature and logs - to see who and when did updates in the folders

What do you dislike about the product?

2FA can be a bit inconvenient at times, but I understand that it’s an important compliance requirement.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transferring HPI files securely and quickly is essential for us. Since we’re not allowed to send billing files through unsecured email, we train our doctors to use the Egnyte folder instead to keep everything protected. Security and speed are our top priorities.

What do you like best about the product?

Egnyte is really a good tool for everyone in our company. We use it company-wide at Faith Technologies, Inc., and it's very helpful to share large files that we can't send through email. It's a great one-stop shop to save, share, and store files. The link sharing and file saving features are what I value the most since they make it easy to share files that are too big to send through an email. The setup was very easy, straight to the point, and has been great so far.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Egnyte to share large files like CAD files and plans, controlling access and duration of links. It also stores important information like NDAs and policies, solving file sharing issues and enhancing collaboration with stakeholders.

I did not experience any upsides to using Egnyte

Egnyte never came prepared to meetings and lost our files that we moved over.

The best I love about this platform is the security of files it provides within the platform and the ability to collaborate with other team with ease. The AI in this platform is really powerful and the deep research feature of this platform greatly enhances its productivity. Other than this AI agents can be trained easily by providing the knowledge base for its source. The agents assist in improving productivity of the Individuals and teams. Other than this I also love the capability of this platform to manage the access and downloads of contents. The workflow management of this platform is outstanding and it ensures scheduled completion of projects or workflow. The accountability and audit trail ensures that every individuals in the teams takes best care in handling as well as completion of this platform. Other than this task assignment can also be made such that the right person in the team handles the job well. Frankly the security as well as the performance of this platform is reliable. The capability to integrate this platform with major platform like google workspace, Power Automate etc boost the robustness of this platform. The onboarding of this platform was also simple which is really attractive for users.

What do you dislike about the product?

I love most part of this platform but I wish that the pricing of this platform was a little more moderate. I also felt that a little bit of training would greatly improve the efficiency of using this platform. The AI can also be met better with increased brainstorming capacity and general assistance capabilities.

This platform assist a lot in working collaboratively on files improving the efficiency and productivity of the team. Other than this platform also provides security and accountability of the contents stored in this platform. More better agents can be created and agents to do specific task can also be created. Which makes task easier and the platform more powerful.
