The company’s innovation in cloud content management and its reputation for helping businesses manage unstructured data efficiently is something that really interests me. What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I noticed is that Egnyte operates in a highly competitive market with many strong cloud storage and collaboration platforms like Google, Microsoft, and Dropbox. Because of this, it can sometimes be challenging for the company to stand out among such large competitors.
However, I actually see this more as an opportunity than a disadvantage. Egnyte’s strong focus on hybrid cloud, data governance, and security gives it a unique position, especially for industries that require strict compliance. Being part of a company that competes through innovation and specialized solutions is something I find exciting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte is mainly solving the problem of secure data management and collaboration for organizations that handle large amounts of files across cloud and on-premise systems. Many companies struggle with scattered data across multiple platforms, security risks, and compliance requirements. Egnyte provides a hybrid cloud platform that centralizes files, controls access, and protects sensitive data with governance and security features.
Ease of Use for File Management, Needs Better Collaboration Features
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of sharing files with Egnyte, especially the ability to use a password or set an expiration date for file access. It's also a plus that I can share files by just deciding how many clicks it takes. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be pretty easy, which was helpful for our architectural firm to get up and running smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Opening Revit files take some time to load and we are unable to collaborate on files

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Egnyte's simplicity. All users in my team were able to access it with minimal training, which is great. Everyone appreciates that they don't need to use a VPN or a virtual desktop infrastructure to access department files, making it really convenient and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Migration was a little hard because it's not import one to one. It's not supporting some special characters for folders and doesn't allow some characters in file names.

Egnyte lets me access department files easily without using a VPN or virtual desktop, which is really helpful.
Seamless Microsoft Integration with Real-Time Sync and Strong Version Control
What do you like best about the product?
It is able to run synchronized with Windows and Microsoft office programs, once linked or logged in, the files get updated seamlessly. Multiple users are able to edit and view, there is no issue with version control. It is 21CFR, everything is stamped.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the option to use it within a web browser environment least intuitive. For tablet type of hardware users this may be most applicable, but if you have a full computer, it is not efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do all my work under confidential nondisclosure agreements, and emailing information is not an option. Egnyte allows for such business to be conducted with all my clients and steakholders.

I really like Egnyte's ease of use, robust security, and seamless collaboration features. I love how Egnyte integrates with other tools like Salesforce, Office, and Google Workspace, making my workflow smoother. The Salesforce integration is particularly beneficial, allowing me to access and share Egnyte files directly within Salesforce, keeping my documents in sync. The initial setup was pretty smooth with Egnyte's guided onboarding and solid support, enabling my team to get up and running quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly most users like me mention the mobile app could use a UI refresh. Also, advanced features can be a bit of a learning curve. Mobile app navigation could be more intuitive. Advanced features like custom metadata and permissions settings can get tricky.

The support team was helpful, guiding me through the setup, and I was up and running in no time.

The user interface could be more intuitive because sometimes I find it takes a few clicks to get to what I need.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Egnyte is very easy to use and intuitive. It's great that my whole organization is on it, allowing us to share things very quickly with people and organize files in a way that others can easily find them. It's a very effective and secure way to share files of all sizes, especially since I work with a lot of video files and need a lot of storage. I also appreciate that I can manage who has access to files, enhancing security. Transferring large files without taking up too much desktop storage is very helpful for me as well. Overall, it's just a great platform to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the desktop version of Egnyte doesn't sync with my cloud version. There seem to be a few issues installing it sometimes and keeping it updated. That would be something that could be improved. But potentially, that might be an issue at our end with our system, so maybe not something to hold Egnyte against.

I find Egnyte a fast, effective, and secure way to share large files without using much desktop storage. It enhances security by managing file access, which is very helpful for handling various content pieces.

What do you like best about the product?
As GM I integrate Egnyte tool with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace since working on all file folders from anywhere using any device without ut hitching the final product. It guarantees top-notch cloud client sensitive data. I seamlessly create/generate highly quality content with beautiful JavaScript. I like how it supports large file sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
For now I don't know what think of any drawback since it meets all it was purposed for.

We use it to share documents among other sensitive data internally and to our client. Suitable for high-quality content generation. Improved cloud data management and storage.

I like the interface, the portal, and the cleanliness of the navigation. These aspects make using Egnyte a pleasant experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there's failures and timeouts. Sometimes files don't save. Sometimes there's duplication issues. I think the intuitiveness of the maintenance could be better.

I use Egnyte for document storage and collaboration. It eliminates disparate file systems and provides a centralized repository, improving connectivity to online and local storage. It also aids in regulatory compliance by reducing storage costs and simplifying data management.
