Great cloud solution to protect your files and share securely.
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest benefit is file security; anytime you access a file, you must provide a password; this is one of the finest security precautions after sharing the information. They give an amazing solution to secure your sensitive data in the cloud from attacks and ransomware detection. We can simply exchange files, update the essential material, and upload new files using Egnyte; you can also share and upload enormous files, which is quite convenient. As a cloud platform, it also provides easy access to the information we require from anywhere and at any time.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, I don't have any significant dislikes for Egnyte; it's a great tool for saving time and improving our overall efficiency; the only thing I don't like about it is that sometimes the document classification is a little lacking when I simply want to search for the most recent document from any file within multiple subfolders; there's no good way to do this at the moment, and support could be a little faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files on a cloud platform is a straightforward way to share data with clients, and clients can even offer comments. File transmission is simple for huge files. Any essential data is safeguarded and handled in a secure environment with Egnyte. Many businesses gain significantly from this since you feel safe and secure. Sharing many files in different formats internally and between clients is one of the primary business difficulties that Egnyte has handled for us; besides, the procedure is incredibly simple and quick.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte allows me to view my work papers from any location in the world as long as I have an internet connection. This is one of the greatest file sharing applications I've encountered; we can exchange data in a cloud-based environment without having to worry about security when working away. What I appreciate best about Egnyte is that it allows distant teams to securely communicate documents. I also enjoy how simple the platform is to use and the flexibility it provides to scattered teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are practically dependent on a functioning and consistent Internet connection in order to utilize the product. It sometimes takes a long time to process data and I find it tough to get assistance; it takes a long time to explore and find the correct information article for the difficulties you are experiencing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is resolving security difficulties when sharing data, it is also simple to cooperate with colleagues and clients, and it has made life easier by allowing users to exchange files over the cloud without fear of losing confidentially. My business utilizes Egnyte to store data with access control. With its support, you may work more cooperatively with your team and achieve efficiency and security, as well as content management and file synchronization.

What do you like best about the product?
We are a small law firm, with about 7 licenses. We get a lot of documents and need them to be accessed easily from nearly everywhere. Egnyte allows us to do this and more. My staff love the notificiations, which allow us to discuss a document. This makes supervisor reviews a snap. We also love the links allowing us to send large batches of documents to people outside our firm. I also really love all the security functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not much. We've been on the product since 2017. At the time, the product was sold in bundles of 10. This required me to always have too many licenses. However, my sales associate this year said that was no long required.
The only remaining thing is I'd like to be able to go to seperate page to review all my notifications, rather than just a drop down box. But this is pretty minor, as I get my notifications emailed to me and can access them through the email instead.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Egnyte to manage documents at our law firm. Egnyte allows us to easily store, access, discuss and share our documents/data from anywhere and on a multitude of devises. We particularly love the cell phone app, that allows us to scan documents by merely taking a photo. So much easier than having to cart around a scanning devise or rely on paper documents.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a simple and easy-to-use platform for securely storing and sharing data. The design makes it simple to keep things organized and instantly access your files. Best of all, we can view project files via Egnyte from any connected device, giving us more control over who has access to the documents and what actions may be made on them. Egnyte is essentially a cloud platform where we can save and share documents with others. What I like best about Egnyte is its interface; it is simple to use and, most importantly, every time we share a document, the password secured file is created.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not handle files greater than 15 GB and has very limited offline access control; it presently does not enable third-party app integrations; and it uses rudimentary encryption in transit and at rest, making it hard to communicate sensitive data. It would be ideal if there was a way to provide markups or comments right on the file in Egnyte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte enables my business to securely share chosen files, which we can access from any place. We can also edit files from anywhere and on any device, allowing for remote work and seamless on-site collaboration. Rather of replacing your laptop, you may log in and utilize it from any laptop. We are outsourcing, thus we require a server or cloud space, and Egnyte is the finest for the task. We transfer documents and other crucial information via Egnyte since it is simple and safe.

It was difficult keeping paper copys of files as these are only accesable at one place. With Egnyte we can acess files from anywhere.

Ease of use and accessibility from my desktop and mobile devices.

Egnyte works good for what I use it for which is file storing and sharing. Perhaps some more features could be added.

Sharing files can be frustrating but Egnyte solves that problem.
Have Used Egnyte for over 10 Years
What do you like best about the product?
Everything from the initial setup to security controls, and customer service have been outstanding in all respects. I would would highly recommend Egnyte. It saved me on the maintenance of a file server, on security issues, on software and IT time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found a downside yet, using Egyte keeps my data secure and saves me money. I can't ask much more than that for the reasonable cost.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, and work in the background. You open and save files just as you would if you were not on a network at all. Back up of data on a regular basis keeps our company working

There really are no downsides, it is compatible with all the software we use.

Being able to store files easily keeps our people from having to be computer experts. They can do their job, and not worry about uploading files etc.
