What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Egnyte for its user-friendly interface, which makes it very straightforward to use. It allows other agencies to upload documents with ease, effectively addressing the challenge of sharing files both within our organization and with external partners. Setting it up for my team was also a simple process. I rely on Egnyte daily for content management, especially when working with creative materials. Large files can be uploaded and transferred quickly, which is a significant advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it expensive to add team members with a full account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Egnyte easily solves sharing issues, both internally and externally. It's straightforward and allows other agencies to upload documents, streamlining content management.

This tool has been beneficial for my business by allowing me to keep everything organized in one place, accessible at any time. I also appreciate the ability to securely store our sensitive information and easily restrict employee access so that only authorized individuals can view it.

Easy access to files and folders especially without having to use VPN to connect.

We sometimes have to click on the desktop app every morning to connect.

I appreciate Egnyte's seamless integration with Windows and find it to be a user-friendly platform. It also makes file storage more efficient by preventing duplicate files. Plus, it was easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is sometimes a lag when first turning on the computer. The file drive doesn't appear right away, and a manual search for Egnyte is required. Also, file sharing integration with management platforms like Asana would be beneficial.

Egnyte makes file storage more efficient, eliminating duplicate files and managing internal storage requirements.

The familiarity of the format makes it easy for everyone to recognize and access what they need. I also liked the initial setup, which was quick and easy, and the great support from their customer service team.

I would like to be able to share files with people who are not registered users more easily. I prefer having a secure link instead of needing to provide a password.

Egnyte is user-friendly and convenient, helping me streamline access in a pinch. It's great that I can ditch a bulky laptop or iPad to access the server when traveling. I find Egnyte easier to navigate and find my files compared to some other file storage apps. It seemed a bit easier to find files in Egnyte, and it might be a bit more secure as well.

I wish I could open the files in Egnyte and view and edit them instead of having to download them first. The initial setup was not as easy as I would have liked but we got it done.

I use Egnyte to organize my files and secure them in an encrypted browser. It makes me feel at ease knowing that my documents and files are protected and encrypted. I love how easy it is to use once you get used to it. I appreciate that I can pay for it annually instead of monthly. What I like most about Egnyte is that I can access my files from anywhere where I am logged into Egnyte. I love that it makes it so easy to put in files and documents and to secure them in the system. The initial setup was smooth and easy for the account and payment.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Egnyte is that it keeps everything in one place and makes it easy to stay organized without slowing us down. It’s simple to find the right file fast, share it securely with the right people, and control access so we’re not worried about the wrong version floating around or sensitive documents ending up in the wrong hands. The permissions and link-sharing options give a lot of peace of mind, and it works smoothly whether I’m in the office or remote. Overall, it helps us stay consistent, compliant, and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Egnyte is that it can feel a little clunky and slower than it should at times—especially when you’re dealing with large folders, lots of files, or syncing. The desktop sync can be confusing (and it’s not always obvious what’s truly synced vs. just online), which can create version issues if someone isn’t careful. Search is usually decent, but it’s not always consistent, and permissions can get complicated to manage as the folder structure grows. It’s a solid system overall, but it could be more intuitive and faster day-to-day.

Egnyte is solving the problem of having files scattered across emails, desktops, and shared drives by giving us one secure, centralized place to store and manage everything. It makes it easy to control who has access to what, share documents with staff or outside partners without sending attachments, and keep everyone working from the same current version.
That benefits me because it reduces time spent hunting for files, lowers the risk of using the wrong version, and gives more peace of mind around security and compliance—especially with sensitive documents. It also makes collaboration smoother since I can access what I need from anywhere and know the right people can get to it without back-and-forth.
