What do you like best about the product?
This platform is ideal for businesses that need to check files, papers, and images on a regular basis. It syncs smoothly with the desktop and offers cloud storage. Furthermore, its functioning is great since it is simple to share with people who do not utilize Egnyte. Thanks to its mobile application, we may access any file from anywhere. It's also simple to email papers to my coworkers; I value the convenience of use and the fact that our company's onboarding just took a day. Switching our files to Egnyte was a breeze, and it has radically revolutionized the way we collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be fantastic if Egnyte allowed many individuals to update a document at the same time, similar to Google Docs. This function would be really beneficial since if a colleague saves a paper with the same name, the document is instantly updated and the prior version is not saved, which is inconvenient when making changes. I also dislike the Word online interface because the papers I generate in desktop Word occasionally scroll and have wrong formatting when viewed in the online edition of Word. In comparison to other sites we've tested, we think the bonus payments are a little expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The firm now has the option to work from home thanks to Egnyte. All of our files were previously saved on our desktop PCs until we discovered Egnyte. We can now collaborate from anywhere, and because we're all working from laptops, we can maintain all of our data in one place without having to transmit paper copies of things like we used to. We use it every day at work for all of our clients' projects since it's perfect for storing massive files in the cloud and viewing them from anywhere. We enhance our file management and administration, and we keep our work flowing and of high quality. It has fantastic integrations, and its UI is very structured and tidy. It also provides search features, which save us a lot of time and allow us to get the files we need quickly using the browser version and mobile app.

It is ideal for both commercial and personal usage since it allows you to create backups, store and view huge files, and it has a good search function that allows you to save time and maintain workflow by rapidly finding and categorizing the items you need. It works well with both the desktop and mobile apps. It was straightforward to set up, with clear instructions that could be sent to the entire team and a smooth launch procedure. It has drastically revolutionized the way we collaborate and has enabled us to work remotely.

Recently it added ask a question AI feature which is very helpful for long PDF. Also added covert into pdf and excel and compare docs features which I like much

What do you like best about the product?
I used Egnyte for more than 4 years in my previous job role, they had uptime of 99.9% and they kept the word. I have never seen the platform going downtime at all.
We had heavy data loaded in the system, I never saw any sort of slowness. I was able to get the job done in no time. I would say that they are the best content sharing platform out there with ease of file sharing and movement. Their directory structure is well organized and you could navigate through them easily without any hassle.

What do you dislike about the product?
Searching(basically indexing) of a document should be improved, at times I had felt that it doesnt have that edge over finding a document very quickly. Would love if they are bringing up features like daily reporting, scheduling and batch processing, etc. Overall the tool does wonders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly used it for confidential and protected information related document uploads. And those documents would be shared widely across clients and partners in a secured manner.

Its a good content management platform that one can rely upon. file sharing is easier and hassle free.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is an easy to use, cost-effective alternative to Dropbox. Document storage is easy, adding docs from email is simple, and the search function makes finding stored documents easy. I also like the ability to restrict access to outside users when sharing access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continued improvement sharing docs with outside clients, make sharing links a little easier. Also continue to improve the file tree storage.

Our employees work in different locations so all having access to the same docs is critical. We also work with some big files so emailing the docs is impossible. THis allows all employees to see the same docs in real time.

Secure platform to store and share files.
What do you like best about the product?
It has a high storage capacity, and because it is a software that is easy to install and use on any platform, it allows you to transfer data rapidly with a very sophisticated loading time, not to mention that it has an excellent interface. The quantity of information that can be kept and updated in real time, as well as handled with a wide group of employees in a firm, has been the most beneficial to me in Egnyte. I particularly enjoy that I can connect Egnyte to my desktop and use it in areas where there is no Internet connection, such as airports and coffee shops. Egnyte is also very beneficial in our work since it allows us to work on the same document while keeping track of modifications and the dates of these changes.

We may add that when we move to a remote mode, the upload of huge files within a region of high capacity is limited, which can be problematic and create failures of significant proportions since it can become a problem in enormous magnitudes. I also dislike the fact that if it is not connected to your computer's disk, you must download the program in order to make changes in real time.

Egnyte is the main file storage for the entire organization, as it is a large company with virtual provisioning because it uses this software because it allows you to share documents internally as if you were working in the same office. In a server environment, it's worth mentioning that you can solve many of the problems your system encounters and work efficiently on a daily basis. Egnyte helps solve knowledge management problems. It's very easy for anyone in the company to access the file, without having to send it to anyone or give them permission to edit it. With Egnyte, members can find all the documentation and information they need, as long as someone has already uploaded the file. Egnyte allows you to organize all the different files in your project and increase memory. This turns out to be a big advantage of this software.

Egnyte is suitable for internal communications when we refer to a company since members of these establishments can share information in a unique and totally easy way, even it is also perfect for securely storing all the files it contains online. When using Egnyte make sure you do a very specific organization of your files and projects. Since the software allows you to upload a huge amount of information, take advantage of and organize everything as best you can. It is also very useful to connect your C:// to Egnyte so you will have access to all the files on your computer, whether you have Internet access or not.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is a fantastic cloud platform that allows all of our company's employees to access project files and information without relying on anybody else. I also enjoy how I can share certain file folders with clients. I enjoy the flexibility to access via the web, the Android app, and the excellent integration with Windows 10. Because Egnyte is immediately available in the file manager, you can effortlessly drag and drop files. Another fantastic feature is that when we scan from our Xerox copier, it saves it to the Egnyte disk. This is really useful since I can recover scans from any of our offices simply navigating to the Scan folder for that office.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main problem is saving the Access database to the Engyte folder. About once a week, Access says the database is corrupted. I keep my database on OneDrive and almost everything else on Egnyte. You may have problems releasing the file so that the client can upload the document. That's probably what I'm doing wrong, but I don't know what I'm doing. When that happened, I couldn't find a way to send a new link to the client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solution addresses the issue of getting sensitive financial information from consumers. They may upload files straight to a folder in Egnyte that I have created. This saves me a lot of time, and if the files are posted to Egnyte, I don't have to download and save them from emails. I have a lot of reports in Excel and PDF format that we save on the Egnyte drive. These folders are accessible to all offices and make it easier to distribute papers without having to send enormous files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I propose Egnyte as a secure cloud platform for file organization and sharing within a company, as well as file sharing and/or uploading from outside the firm. It may be configured as needed for files that are not shared within the firm, and external access for individual users' files/folders is totally up to them. Please contact Egnyte if you are unable to find a solution to a specific problem. What do you like best about the product?
I like how Egnyte implemented a new feature that allows you to display the document title in the URL. It makes it much easier to find files after a link has expired. It's also convenient to upload open files by dragging and dropping them into the Egnyte website. I really enjoy the option to transmit numerous links at once in an orderly fashion. I appreciate how you get the information ready to share, how you encrypt your files when you share them, and how you have a ready to use button. You can arrange your data using folders and share certain folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd want to be able to choose how long the connections remain live. I'm not sure if that's a feature, but my firm has disabled it. If it does not exist, it would be wonderful to verify if a link is valid for 7 days, 30 days, or more. We occasionally provide a pre-read to a customer more than a week ahead of time and must react to specific requests to resend if the link expires. Apart from that, I believe that the network does not always load quickly enough, as evidenced by several users, and that when we try to receive/download a file and it takes a long time to download, there is an issue with the server's download speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On a regular basis, I share files with my team and organize my work using folders, which allow me and my coworkers to discover certain files. It enables me to provide specific rights to the share, view, and edit modes. So that no one may access our files. Egnyte enables me to exchange huge files with clients without the need for specific file sharing permissions. Egnyte has also become an important internal tool for quick file exchange. It's especially helpful when we're working on a document; we can rapidly email each other new versions without having to set up a cumbersome OneDrive system to re-save files and archive old ones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Egnyte is a fantastic file sharing application, especially if you operate in numerous places, with multiple customers, and with different technologies, such as Windows and Mac. Organizing by folders makes it much easier to work with yourself and your coworkers; keep your crap organized, and you'll be good.
