Egnyte is user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I have a desktop app where I can drag files and it automatically uploads. I can send documents securely to clients and it is password protected. I appreciate that access can be given to certain individuals- only the staff members working with a client folder have access to it whereas other staff members have restricted access.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes using Egnyte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits to file organization and working with clients is endless! I truly do not have any complaints about Egnyte.

What do you like best about the product?
Engyte makes it simple to create links for clients to securely share passwords and other sensitive information while keeping files organized.

No complaints. This tool does what it is meant to do.

As a marketing and bookkeeping firm, our clients need to share passwords and sensitive documents with us. Egnyte lets me assure clients that they can easily share information with us in an encrypted environment.

Egnyte is very user friendly online cloud server. We can share the files online by buying server space our this and upload and download the files very eaisly.
It allows sharing the any kind of file formats over here. By using this also, we can secure the files and store the files over her for record purpose and send the link the of particular folder so another guy can access and download the files.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is noting to dislike egnyte software but it can be improved more like BIM 360 online platform which may help this in growth also.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some time we share the files to our client. For that we upload the files on egnyte and create the link of folder after that we share that link with him so he can access the files and download them.
So we are using this as file tranfer protocal. It is good mode of sending big files.

The easen to get my required documents from the library of my comopnay over the cloud .

the user interface is very old, its should be more exciting

Egnyte is a Great Way to Store and Share Data
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the files submitted to Egnyte update for everyone so quickly so we can share official firm documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logging in is a little annoying but it does make sure that the correct person is credited for each submission.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We store and share files important to our firm allowing us to save our time and our client's time which in turn allows us to be more efficient and profitable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your administrator controls permissions to prevent the accidental deletion of objects.

Egnyte is a simple platform that any company can use very easily to store and save documents. It's a one-stop shop for any and all shared documents that your team needs access to on a moments notice.

If I recall, multiple people cannot live edit a document simultaneously, which is frustrating

Good organization, has the ability to set individual permissions, fairly fast to upload/download

Outside of the pros, it doesn't have much else. No editing, doesn't preview ZIP or some other file types

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is remarkably faster, much more powerful, and reliable in terms of usage whereas this is also much easier to understand and easy to use for the users. As it is easy hence it makes it more convenient for the users to use it without much labor hours of having training on it which is why this product is highly recommended.
This not only stores files but also files and folders in a much precise way, that is easily accessible and all that one needs to do is to access this one location for everything. This is highly efficient and is safe and secure.
This also has a high ability to control the level of access for every individual who can add or select the folders.

The frequent log offs is definitely one of the major thing to take control off, as this makes it much more difficult to get back to the site once logged off.
This also consumes a lot of space at some time, esp when it is connected to the work servers which makes it a little inconvenient to connect from other locations for remote access.
Also uploading large and bulky files on egnyte takes alot of time and creates some troubles as it is time consuming.
It is difficult to have a mass permission to multiple folders.
Also it doesn't have a way to back up the information from that of the end users machine or have the contents transfered to the of the local hard drive

This is user friendly and convenient to use when there are files and folders to be stored in one location and is to be accessed across.
