Useful for on the go work
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte allows members of the company I work for to access our files easily. Whether we are at the home office or the office office, we have access to all our files on-demand. There is also a great function that allows one to see who last updated a document on the system. One can also see the most recent activity in any particular folder, which is especially helpful when saving documents and reducing redundancy. Egnyte allows us to all have access to our files. My favorite feature is seeing who last edited a document and who uploaded a document in any particular folder. It is beneficial to see what my colleagues are doing/have done to avoid redundancy. There is also a great function that allows one to see who last updated a document on the system. I can work from home and access with the same ease as I would working in the office. Additionally, Egnyte offers reports at the end of each month. It is fun to see who accessed the most files, who created the most files, etc.
The search function of Egnyte is amazing. You can get fast results in any level of classification. Quite frankly, there is very little to dislike.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface of the desktop/online version of Egnyte is sometimes cumbersome to use. It can be challenging to select the file you want, and I find the navigation tools clunky. It simply is not intuitive and I prefer other platforms' methods of searching.
Sometimes the search function is too specific and it is difficult to access the search terms that I am looking for.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte allows us to all have access to our files. My favorite feature is seeing who last edited a document and who uploaded a document in any particular folder. This platform helps employees in my organization collaborate no matter where we are working -- at home or in the office. It is easy to use and easier to understand. For the developers, I think it would be cool to have a mroe expanded feature for the end of the month reports. It is fun to see who created the most documents, for example. Photo Uploading/Sharing Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I find it very easy to share large files, manage types of permissions and get trade contractors on board with the professional look of Egnyte vs the competitors.
I also depend a lot on the ability to upload photographs from my iOS device to cloud-based storage to easily access from my PC or share links to large files or folders.

What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile App still has bugs, particularly with the start-up and image loading. I might need to spend a little time with the help desk. Other than a few extra taps, my photos upload very easily.

The willingness of trades partners to share because the Egnyte Platform is very professional in appearance.

Egnyte is reliable, unlike other similar platforms I've used in the past. The app for working on my desktop is also very useful. I have had no problems with Egnyte.

There is nothing I don't like about Egnyte.

Our company shares and manages tens of thousands of files. These include word docs, pdfs, spreadsheets, images, and videos.

Everything, it was difficult to use and not always worked

Runs in the background syncing your files to the cloud. Takes care of data backup. Works across multiple devices. Online or offline access.

Desktop client a bit clunky. Not always easy to edit a shared document.

Cloud based file storage means no more worrying about backing up laptop documents. Centralised management of all users. Works across multiple devices.
Very easy to use on pc and mobile
What do you like best about the product?
Once signed in the back up worked on things done on mobile and on pc as well, great if sync doesn't work properly for example on email accounts Egnyte just backs up the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was only thing I didn't like and that was that it kept signing me out of Egnyte on my mobile and sometimes it was but difficult to get back in.

Back up of emails, documents and files. This is a thing which is really necessary for some industries as keeping the data is key for legal authorities and notified bodies.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease to use and organize mass amounts of files within Egnyte. Desktop sync allows Egnyte to be easily accessible and doesn't get in the way of the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Locking down files only lasts for 7 days. There's no way for files to stay permanently locked down (read-only) state.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everything organized and secure. Being able to quickly send my clients a secure link via Egnyte for any confidential information. My clients always appreciate the comfortability of sending files via Egnyte.

My organization uses Egnyte for general secure file sharing between clients, consultants, and suppliers. It's great for real-time transfer as files with the ability to edit at the same time.
