What do you like best about the product?
The display of information and the security. You can se the path to the document you are seeing, which is quite useful if you want to go back. I find very useful to mark the folders and have a quick access to them, since otherwise I would have to go through a long path to reach them.
You can upload sensitive information and be assured it is safe.
Also the possibility of editing a document by opening it directly in your desktop app (Word, Excel) and the fact that it saves all changes automatically.
On a simpler side, it is also useful to have a preview of documents, to be able to copy documents and to rename them.
Egnyte has also this feature where external peole can upload documents and internal people can see them in a folder. It is easy to submit since it onlya sks you for your name, email and company (optional), and for me it is easy to see the documents they submitted. In addition, these documents do not have a limit (for instance, 30mb), so we can receive videos, word documents, excel documents, pdfs, etc.

It is a bit hard to search for a specific document when the organization has many of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All documents are secured and the access is controlled. You can let people access just one document or a whole folder.
A problem I see is that if one person has forgotten to close a document on their desktop, others cannot edit.

Very secure and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
I link the secure links that users can send to external vendors. The military-grade encryption while being on the cloud is fantastic. As an admin, the offboarding of external clients and former employees is a few clicks away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the downside is that it is not adopted everywhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the field of payroll processing, the ability to secure PII data is essential, and I think Egnyte solves that problem. Like I mentioned before, the ability to send a secure link down to the file instead of a whole folder is a plus. In addition, having the service cloud-based is excellent for reliability and disaster planning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a high-quality cloud-based solution for secure file sharing, then Egnyte is for you. I would recommend that your company have over 50 users or external customers deal with sensitive data.

While working remotely, Egnyte allows our team to access shared files easily. It also saves previous drafts/versions of files which has been key.

I haven't found much to dislike yet! Our team really likes using this.

What do you like best about the product?
The best app I have found while working on official documents and especially the sensitive documents because this app gives me the peace of mind that nothing is going to go astray because of end-to-end security and also because the individual company servers control it. It is a convenient way of transferring massive files and also sharing the data across the organizational network.
What do you dislike about the product?
We often found out that while working o the same file in the edit mode by different users within a project, it creates various versions of edited files unless we close the file and come back again after some time. Can this be fixed to help on the go editing mode for multiple users all at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used this platform to transfer huge files in real-time, create project deliverable trackers to get real-time updates from field offices and also to monitor their progress, and give them feedback live. It's a performance enhancer for sure and helps, especially when teams are working remotely in diverse parts of the world and management of the projects becomes so silky smooth with this app that we almost loved it.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm in love with this tool and would definetly recommend this tool to anyone who is working remotely or need content-specific software to work online. Even it helps our team to reduces time and work efforts and even increases the timing of work done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Firstly, I didn't recognise the unusual activity alert that I really wanted but later we found this function and really love this feature because it's higher our security in our organisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed file storage at multiple locations so our team access and we also get notified on each access of data in a very easy way. Even Cloud storage of this option resolves our problem in a very easy way.

The Functionality of Copy, Move. It opens the entire directory, It could be better this could be possible by typing the folder name or pasting location of the folder.

Excellent tool for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Egnyte on a daily basis and it is an excellent package for cloud storage of all files and team sharing. Working on the go is made easier with remote access to work server files. I can access anything from anywhere, which allows me to have access to all of the information I need, without having to save them on my computer.

Previously, the platform had a slow response and required a long time to upload files, but it is now perfect and a great tool for team collaboration.

We have unlimited storage and can now access all of our company files from anywhere, from any device.

I've had issues with the desktop sync app; it's tricky not to have it download more files than I need locally.

We love sharing direct links to our files with clients and even with co-workers for review. It makes it easy to send giant files without needing to involve another file-sharing service.
