Great Cloud Based Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I have my own private folder, and then there's the company shared version that's also very easy to access and collaborate with my colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of at the moment. It's so standard and reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration internally, as well as externally with our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trust! They have the best security and access management protocols to the documents you may need.

My small company has had close to zero issues using Egnyte in the 2 year we've had it.
What do you like best about the product?
I can work from home more easily and the files open and save quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really comes to mind here aside from the implementation taking a little longer than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote work is far easier, as we do not need to do remote desktop now.
Reliable Cloud file server designed and for businesses!
What do you like best about the product?
Almost full admin customization for example allow/restrict syncing of data to local disks, easy resource assignment, reporting, and 3rd party integration. Their help community and documentation is also really current and helpful. If support tickets are submitted they respond usually less than an hour and are willing to call (no endless email cat-mouse games)
What do you dislike about the product?
Upload/download speeds via internet for large files have received complaints..especially (actually only) from the marketing team's. However, Egnyte offers a local server solution to cache selected folders in local LAN.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte fixed our problems by centralizing multiple cloud storage tenants (dropbox, zoho workdrive, onedrive, WeTransfer..)and simplifying administration and employee on-boarding.
Egnyte is efficient and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte has the option of either using a web interface or an app on your desktop that fits right in to file explorer, so saving things is just as intuitive as it ever was. Egnyte is very user-friendly. Most people in our company barely even noticed a difference between our old shared drives in Microsoft to our new Egnyte account. We are also getting file storage that is FINRA compliant, and they made it easy to have two separate domains (one for our Broker Dealer and one for our RIA). The two domains are both housed in the same account, so it keeps our data separate, but still together. With the Business package that we have, we can even run audits on who accessed files, when, what they did, etc. as well as running audits on when/how permissions were changed and such.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I don't like about it, but I guess it took a little while to understand the mechanics of permissions. We also had a bit of a misunderstanding at first and were set up with the wrong type of account. We needed FINRA compliant, and were under the impression any kind of Egnyte storage is FINRA compliant, but only the Business plan is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have FINRA compliant storage, are able to synch files pretty easily across our entire network, and no longer need to use a VPN to get to our files when working from home.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you review the specific plans to pick which one is best for your organization. We also had our tech company do the migration of data, so I can't speak to whether that would be easy for someone that is not in IT, but our IT team thought it was a breeze from their point of view. Our Egnyte rep seemed a little hurried to get us to sign on, even though we reassured him we were going to, and I think that's how we ended up with the wrong business plan from the beginning. My advice would be to ask a lot of questions from the beginning to have a clear understanding of the differences in plan types.

Egnyte makes it easy to access our server and programs from offsite allowing easy work at home.

As a cloud based service there can be small lags when accessing files

Easy access to our stored files. Can be accessed from anywhere.
Egnyte for File Sharing and Cloud Storage
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is simple to use, secure, and can be used inside and outside of our organization with ease. Folders can be created quickly and shared, and are able to be private or collaborative. Egnyte also shows who submitted the file or photo. You can also easily bookmark folders for retrieval later.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the shared file names were able to be displayed longer (in character count) on the main screen. Other than that, no dislikes at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have employees easily add photos and information when we put out a call for employee photos. We are also able to use Egnyte with our dealmakers — it's a central repository for them to see approved marketing materials that they can then download and share.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is easy to use and has both desktop interface which is seamless and online access for total remote access.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislike for the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a remote workforce, all staff has access to files that they need. Also, sharing securely with others outside the organization has been of immense help.
