Excellent File Sharing Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is super easy to use. No tutorials or training needed for basic use. It's very intuitive file sharing for us internally and with our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't seen many enhancements added over the several years using it. It would be nice to see some expanded features over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Egnyte to share and organize files internally and share files with clients. It's great to have an intuitive way to set permissions based on whether we're sharing a folder with client/contractor/employee etc.
Simple and useful tool! Couldn't live without it.

How easy it is to use. Helps me in my day to day communications.

Sometimes the option of only being able to share a folder with a password is limiting.

files that are too large to send via email can be sent quickly and securely with egnyte. this helps keep cross functional communication efficient and secure
Recommendations to others considering the product:
i would definitely recommend egnyte more than using Wetransfer, google drive, and similar products. egnyte is, in my opinion, easier to navigate and less glitchy. it also seems to have a higher success rate of use across internal and external partners, which is helpful because in my industry/role especially, we liaise with numerous external partners on a daily basis and need a good way to share files.
It is a pretty very good tool to work in large organizations, for security, share, and organize.
What do you like best about the product?
The way that you get the info ready to share. The encryption of your files when sharing, and the ready-to-go button for it. The way that you can organize your files trough folders and share certain folders. At least on my plan i have no size limit yet (i believe so). The way that we can specifically when sharing selected files and folders. And again, the security, that let you put a password, but it comes with a great encryption for your files passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont think that there is anything that i dont like from engnyte, beside that sometimes, the network won't load that fast enough (tested by multiple users), sometimes we are trying to recieve (dowload) a file and it takes a lot of time to download, i think that there is a problem trough the server download speed. But i don't really know if it is by our organization plan (because im a user) or because there is just a lot of people working with engnyte at the same time.

Im sharing files with my team in a daily basis, organizing my work (advertising campaigns) trough folders, wich let me and my team mates know where specifically find certain files. Allows me to give the certains permitions for sharing, view and edit mode. So nobody can play with our files. So far i've been working with my

Organization by folders helps a lot to work to yourself and with your teammates, keep your shit organized and you'll be ok.
Reliable cloud-based file sharing platform
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to track previous revisions and ability to work remotely. I never realized how powerful remote accessibility is, especially during these unprecedented times. The revisions log is a good way to review what changes have been made by who throughout the day, if a previous iteration is needed to be pulled. The search function is also a great tool to quickly look-up key words and pull information from the entire company library in a matter of seconds. The website supports many different formats (although our company mainly uses MS Office Suite, CAD).
What do you dislike about the product?
Rare instances where Egnyte drops from shared drive server. Sometimes the sync function (application on computer) is not recognized and dissapears. (this happened maybe a handful of times).
There is a small bug when using the search function. Once a search is completed, when you click the "back arrow" it moves to a blank search screen, rather that moving back to the previous page you were on.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work on lots of collaborative Consulting design work and being able to work remote is a great way to turnover projects faster than having to locally access Company material.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The platform is definitely heading in the right direction. Many consulting services rely on quick access to files. The cloud-based software allows for streamlined workflow and the general outlook and functions are promising. I would recommend this to other clients who want to be able to quickly access in-house information and deliver on time. The website is fairly straight-forward for someone who is new.

What do you like best about the product?
The responsiveness and quality of service. Everyone we engage with, from support to account management is very thorough. The product itself is light-years ahead of the competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of much! Just that we have more clients that we wish were using Egnyte instead of the competition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we are resolving is providing a single solution for all of our customer data storage needs. I dont think I've come across a situation where Egnyte was not a feasible solution.
Egnyte is a great resource for sharing and sending large files.

Upload is fast, folders keep you organized.

I wish you could drag files to move them instead of having to check the move box. Could be a bit more user friendly.

Able to send large working files to other people on my team when they are too big for email. It's also a good way to back up and store files.

Works just as well as Dropbox or any other file storing and sharing program.

The fact the tool allows for collaboration in documentation excites me a lot. One can have multiple individuals working on the same document at the same time which helps save on time.
