There is nothing I dislike about it how can you possibly dislike fast speeds

It's quick and easy to use, we can use it with various employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
We really like the product. We wish that we could change the color of different folders to better organize them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer have to use external hard drives for all of our e- file copies which is great.

Secure cloud sharing with fast local storage presentation
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte has enabled us to seamlessly and securely store our content in the cloud and synchronise it around our global offices, providing fast local storage where creatives can easily access and leverage it, whilst also allowing clerical users to share it back out securely to any client on any platform, with fully audited secure access. The desktop user interface is the same regardless of if you come at it from a Mac or Windows platform, and the cloud UI is equally easy to follow .
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that some of the key selling points to make it 100% perfect for us have taken a little bit of time to come to mainstream availability, but they are now present in every Egnyte Connect Client that we have on all our computers so we are satisfied that even though we got on board before these features were ready we are glad that we were fully using Egnyte when they became current as we could then start using them instantly with all our content all ready and cloud loaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have global offices in the UK, America and Australia and needed to have the same content available everywhere so that we could work round the clock handing off from Australia to the UK and then on to Los Angeles before going back round the world again every day, all week. This enables us to work smarter and deliver seamlessly to our global clients naturally no matter where they are in all the time zones we have the ability to share back completed work from a single global file system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you properly engage with their Customer Success team and ensure that you follow all their best practise with regards to implementation. Do not think that this is a way of removing hardware, instead understand that it can also increase the value of existing infrastructure and help shape future purchases. Ensure that you get not just stakeholder engagement but also end user traction with regards to the power of the system to deliver content securely anywhere. Yes some working practises have to change, but this is a better way than adding attachments to emails or using free third party sharing solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
Upsides of using Egnyte are the following, Easy to setup, Easy to Manage, Really good API system which make integrations of security or other applications a breeze.
Great place to Audit permissions, users, file structure easy and intuitive. Helpdesk is quick and attentive to any issues and the knowledge base is great resource.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that comes to mind when using Egnyte, there are no downsides to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very distributed network with employees all over the world, Egnyte increased collaboration as well as enhances our cloud network. It brings departments closer together. Using VPN's are good but sluggish so having the MFA solution built in ensures we are secure.

Do your due diligence on the product to get the right type of account, leverage account manager knowledge to get what you need from Egnyte.
Best External Creative Server Out There
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is pretty awesome. We are abl.e able to create archives organized into folders - very intuitive like using your computer. Great way to store all of external facing creative assets

What do you dislike about the product?
There's features on there I never learned. I am sure they are awesome but basic functionality works just fine!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows our team to say 'we have a private marketing server' that has everything on it. Oh, here is your table of links for everything you need. This cuts way down on basic support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! For a small team its cheap enough to put on a card every month but will save you much more in redundant work.
Fantastic version control
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that it saves all versions, together with info about who uploaded them and when, and that it allows you to lock a file while you're working on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't make a field wider so you can read all the titles properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Version control! It allows multiple people to collaborate without having to worry about where the current file is. I also love being able to assign different types of permissions to different folders.
Seamlessly connects remote employees and multiple offices
What do you like best about the product?
I love the WebEdit tool - open your file from Egnyte, it opens on your desktop, and automatically saves back to Egnyte. If you've ever had to work from VPN and fought with slow connectivity, Egnyte will seem like a dream come true. Files at your fingertips just as if you'd saved them on your desktop! Working remotely is SO easy with Egnyte. Our team was rarely in the same location, and we shared and accessed files seamlessly with Egnyte - it made collaborating so simple. The cost and amount of storage received is very generous, and something that anyone could fit into their budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Egnyte. It's a great platform! There used to be a desktop sync option, where the files were right on your desktop and synced back to Egnyte. It's a bummer they don't have that anymore, bc then you truly were working right off your desktop (in your Egnyte folder) and everything was syncing back. I miss that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so easy to share files inside and outside the organization. It makes working remotely with other coworkers seamless - it's like we're sharing files from the same cubicle at work. Egnyte makes working remotely SO efficient. I can't imagine traveling for work and not having Egnyte - I always have everything I need and don't have to worry about not having copied something to my desktop before talking to a client.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't delay! Get it now. You won't regret it. It's such a powerful, necessary tool for seamless teamwork both in the office and remote. You always have access to your files - no matter where you are or whether or not you have your computer. You can always log in and access whatever you need as long as you have internet and a computer.

Functionality is excellent at an affordable cost. Enhancements continue to be made annually,

No ability for secure password functionality granted that’s not the primary purpose. Just would be nice to not have engage with another vendor for that

It's small, but having to click on a document to move it into another folder instead of just dragging it.

Sharing and storing data securely has been much better since we've switched to Egnyte. Prior to Egnyte, we just sent files via email.
