We Love Egnyte! Make sharing Large files a breeze. No login required for recipient of the files.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease or Sharing large files with our clients & collaborators. Ease of accessing files when not at office. It is also easy to see who has uploaded which files and allow clients and subconsultants to upload their files to us. The interface is VERY user friendly. I also love that unlike other file sharing sites, people I share a download link with do not have to make a profile to get the files!
What do you dislike about the product?
They send too many "educational" emails. I cannot seem to opt out of them. Other than that I have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte allows me to share large files with sub-consultants and clients. I love being able to Remotely access to large files when not at the office. There is the added benefit of having Egnyte be a Cloud storage of files. It allows Easy collaboration with clients. Also it allows us to easily share files with our printer.

I really like that I can find and store so much information on Egnyte from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Egnyte could be accessed offline at least to an extent. The moment my internet twitches, boom! Everything is gone until i'm back online :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Egnyte, working with numerous documents at my job involved constantly having multiple tabs and applications open all at once, all the time. Now, it feels more organized and less tedious since everything is all in one place... all thanks to Egnyte.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your organization uses and stores large amounts of data on a daily basis, Egnyte is a great software to implement for safer and more efficient results.
Easy to find Database
What do you like best about the product?
Our Company started small and preferred to store our data in the cloud. But since we got acquired by a larger company and has it's our document storage databases. However our company has continued to use Egnyte instead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Larger companies tend to block Egnyte easy accessible drive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None except, when I had login problems the tech support was super helpful.
Great System
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to maneuver and to find what I need when I need it. It is a very reliable system, hardly any problems with it and it is very fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I need to save my documents under certain names and it does not let you save them with special characters
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That everyone in our office can have access to our files and that it is very easy to share documents with other people outside our office. It has helped me to keep a clean system.

If you are looking for an easy-to-use, reliable and fast system, Egnyte is the way to go.

Egnyte allows me to collaborate with my coworkers and share HIPPA compliant information with users or outside contacts with the use of a password. It is simple and safe

Web portal vs desktop. No real downsides

Sharing PHI safely and securely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I did the research myself. I looked at 12 different companies. I narrowed it down to two. Box and Egnyte. Egnyte, unlike Box has never had a breach of information.
Effortless Document Management with Minor Mobile Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I find Egnyte very easy to use, especially for downloading documents and sharing large files. It's a breeze to store all documents related to the claims process and share them effortlessly with the insurance company and attorney. I like that sending a file link is very user-friendly. The ease of setup and use makes it a great choice for my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occasion, changing the name of a file on the iPhone doesn't work. When I upload files to Egnyte and have to change the name of the folder, it doesn't let me do that. I have to wait until I get on my desktop.

I use Egnyte because it's easy to store all documents regarding the claims process and share my files with the insurance company and attorney. It makes downloading documents and sharing large files simple.

Great Gateway To Share Large Files With Out-of-network People
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and it is accessible to any and everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the way that it is laid out. I'd like to see it designed a different way, so that I can use it more efficiently. A faster program is always a better way to work within time schedules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being more organized in the work system. We share many files with people within our industry and outside our industry. It is a great gateway to have huge files and share them with people whose emails can't rely on bigger than 25G files.
Great for File Sharing and Remote Access
What do you like best about the product?
That I can access, share, download my files from any location.
What do you dislike about the product?
The User profiles are quite limited. It would be great to customize the user types, or if there were more profiles you could assign. For instance outside users such as Architect/Engineer who can upload, share, distribute, same for Subcontractors, Owners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, we use it for field and office personnel to access contract documents. It is also a good way to share documents with the link, in email when the file is too large to send.
