Egnyte serves your e-file storage needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, easy to learn, and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main folders tags should have options to be highlighted and should have cheaper options for my staff to have individual access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte ensures that my company have the backup for all my files while staying HIPAA compliance.
Egnyte has been a seamless tool to implement.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to add users and be selective with user access. Users outside of our organization can easily upload/download with just an emailed link.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have issues with Egnyte opening via Chrome.

Confidential sharing of loan documents and financials with prospects and customers.

Working remotely and sharing files with contractors and colleagues is excellent
Cloud and NAS
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have a Netgear NAS at out physical location and real time sync to the cloud for our remote workers. We have used Egnyte for the past 10. Having the NAS onsite makes super quick access to large photo files and videos however over the years with bandwidth increasing our offsite users love the and web web access

they reduced the number of standard users you can have. we use these for a salesman portal that only have limited access to files

secure access for remote users and the ability to integrate with AD makes authority very easy.

Fast uploads and downloads, easy to organize easy to share

There is nothing I dislike about it how can you possibly dislike fast speeds

It's quick and easy to use, we can use it with various employees.

We really like the product. We wish that we could change the color of different folders to better organize them.

We no longer have to use external hard drives for all of our e- file copies which is great.

Secure cloud sharing with fast local storage presentation
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte has enabled us to seamlessly and securely store our content in the cloud and synchronise it around our global offices, providing fast local storage where creatives can easily access and leverage it, whilst also allowing clerical users to share it back out securely to any client on any platform, with fully audited secure access. The desktop user interface is the same regardless of if you come at it from a Mac or Windows platform, and the cloud UI is equally easy to follow .
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that some of the key selling points to make it 100% perfect for us have taken a little bit of time to come to mainstream availability, but they are now present in every Egnyte Connect Client that we have on all our computers so we are satisfied that even though we got on board before these features were ready we are glad that we were fully using Egnyte when they became current as we could then start using them instantly with all our content all ready and cloud loaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have global offices in the UK, America and Australia and needed to have the same content available everywhere so that we could work round the clock handing off from Australia to the UK and then on to Los Angeles before going back round the world again every day, all week. This enables us to work smarter and deliver seamlessly to our global clients naturally no matter where they are in all the time zones we have the ability to share back completed work from a single global file system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you properly engage with their Customer Success team and ensure that you follow all their best practise with regards to implementation. Do not think that this is a way of removing hardware, instead understand that it can also increase the value of existing infrastructure and help shape future purchases. Ensure that you get not just stakeholder engagement but also end user traction with regards to the power of the system to deliver content securely anywhere. Yes some working practises have to change, but this is a better way than adding attachments to emails or using free third party sharing solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
Upsides of using Egnyte are the following, Easy to setup, Easy to Manage, Really good API system which make integrations of security or other applications a breeze.
Great place to Audit permissions, users, file structure easy and intuitive. Helpdesk is quick and attentive to any issues and the knowledge base is great resource.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that comes to mind when using Egnyte, there are no downsides to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very distributed network with employees all over the world, Egnyte increased collaboration as well as enhances our cloud network. It brings departments closer together. Using VPN's are good but sluggish so having the MFA solution built in ensures we are secure.

Do your due diligence on the product to get the right type of account, leverage account manager knowledge to get what you need from Egnyte.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is pretty awesome. We are abl.e able to create archives organized into folders - very intuitive like using your computer. Great way to store all of external facing creative assets

What do you dislike about the product?
There's features on there I never learned. I am sure they are awesome but basic functionality works just fine!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows our team to say 'we have a private marketing server' that has everything on it. Oh, here is your table of links for everything you need. This cuts way down on basic support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! For a small team its cheap enough to put on a card every month but will save you much more in redundant work.
