GitGaurdian for a institute
What do you like best about the product?
It has helped us in saving tokens and encryption tokens from becoming vulnerable. This has allowed us to get good cybersecurity. it was easy to use because of integration with Git Hub. we have been using it for 6 months and it has saved us quite some time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything has been good except the payment plan, apart from that everything else has been smooth for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
as said in the pros, guardian has been good for us in saving tokens and encryption tokens. we actually have an attendance portal. where we put up decryption codes on front end and this was secured using gitguardian. Apart from that, it also protected the token at backend.
The best and the worst of gitguardian

It always reminds me to keep the secrets of my app
What do you dislike about the product?
They are some secrets that are not detected by gitguardian like database-name
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It reminds me to keep my environment secure because whenever I push codes with environment variable it has to notify me that I have pushed env variables so that helps me to keep the app secure.
Flexible, Recommendable and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
In real-time It helped me detect code smells and password breaches that exist in any of my git repos. And I had fixed/managed them easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI can be improved, when I logged in for the first time the home tour of the application is a bit confusing.

GitGuardian tackles the problem of unintentional leaks of sensitive information within your code. This can include things like API keys, access tokens, passwords, and other credentials. These leaks can happen accidentally when developers commit code containing this information to a version control system like Git.
A really usefull security net
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how GitGuardian quickly update me about potential security risks in my repo.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It is easy to use, the UI is intuitive. I recommend it.

Git Guardian is like an assistant keeping an eye on potential secret leak or vulnerabilities.
Great security tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's FAST! All my security incidents were detected and reported immeadiatly after the source code was pushed to the remote repository. It's very handy and a must-have tool.

So far it has been great. I have no complaints.

It helps me to keep my secrets safe and to take action as soon as anything is exposed by accident.

I love how fast gitguardian is able to detect secrets and accidental exposures in my github

Very helpful to keep your secret for being exposed and when it exposed you get alerts fast have integration for discord easily with webhooks and this is great 💯

There is nothing really I can say about the dislike maybe I cannot pay for it cause I'm a freelancer but it's not an issue cause Ill never get over the budget or I just use it for free at the moment

Is it great to give me notification if I revealed any secret and even before pushing to my repo there is a version to alert you before when I tegrating it into your repo I guess
