Multi-faceted experience with thorough platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can assign tasks to our teams to ensure the perfect response to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I believe the platform is thorough, I also believe the layout is a bit crowded
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Sprout Social is solving is our ability to reach members on an informal platform to build rapport and relatability
Detailed onboarding and intuitive interface
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard is user-friendly and has prebuilt reports to get you started right out of the gate.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, Sprout requires users who strictly approve posts to have a full seat. It would be most beneficial for us to have a free limited seat for approvers; however, we're told this could change soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling social posts has become a breeze using Sprout-- before, our team kept a spreadsheet and posted day of. Now we're able to schedule and also categorize reports by tags and campaigns, giving us deeper insight into how our efforts are performing on social.
Great all in one tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout makes scheduling content, listening, reporting and community management so easy to use. It's really got everything in one place that you need for successful social media management. The roles function makes it easy to set up a team and as someone who works with a lot of colleagues around the world - this is a life saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a dislike as such, but the way engagements are tracked, does differ from other platforms. So if you're comparing engagement data from one month to the next using data from another social media scheduling tool, then the data will differ.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the listening too incredibly useful. We're trying to grow our social accounts and by being able to see what conversations people are having around our subject area has massively helped us in producing content that solves our audience problems.
Sprout Social has alleviated a lot of the day to day challenges that I face in my role.
What do you like best about the product?
I like scheduling posts in advance, and categorizing posts helps in planning which type of posts to use. As my company grows, I appreciate the ability to see which posts are working and which are not.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to be able to assign the color-coded notes meaning, so that I can further categorize post types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to post in advance and map out our content, which is beneficial during our busy season.
Great interface and data analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy interface to navigate! Their analytics and metrics reporting are very in-depth. I also deeply appreciate their social listening tools!
What do you dislike about the product?
They track engagement rate by impression, whereas I am used to measuring it by followers. There's no feature to change this as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is solving our problem of social listening with their adequate tools. We are able to track and analyze what our consumers talk about us and our competitors.
Easy transition, very user friendly platform
What do you like best about the product?
The features such as social listening, which allows us to add to our monthly reports. We also like the competitor analysis tool, which is another tool we enjoy adding to our reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that we dislike on a large scale, however, the pricing is higher than what we had prior and the extra features we would like to utilize are also at a higher pricepoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are providing a more detailed monthly analysis for us. This not only includes our analytical and post-performance reports, but we also have social listening and competitor analysis added to our reporting.
Great Sprout Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I love the inbox, it is super helpful and easy to use. I also love the reporting options available, the share feature really helps with keeping my colleagues informed on how their channels are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that when you tag a post after there are already replies to it that it doesn't automatically tag all the comments under the post, and I am forced to go back and tag them manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many different accounts on various platforms and it can be difficult to keep track of messages and replies. Sprout Social helps us monitor multiple channels and effectively reply.
Sprout is great at many things, and could improve in some others
What do you like best about the product?
I love the time suggestions for when a post will do best, the ease of having multiple platforms in one place, and the ability to easily tag posts for campaigns or sponsors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Putting together a campaign can be tricky, sometimes the quality of a photo can be reduced and the maximum file size isn't very big to begin with, and sometimes accounts disconnect without any reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social allows us to evaluate how to execute social plans, day to day posting, and compile reports for ourselves and our partners. It is a very versatile program that does a multitude of things revolving around social media.
Robust Tool, Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and gives you robust metrics, reporting, and even listening tools -- all in one place. Best of all, the support team is responsive and solution-oriented!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find a real disadvantage to using Sprout. It would be nice, though, if more contextual help popped up. The tool is so robust that you can miss out on half its power by missing features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us to track our campaigns, hashtags, and keywords. Sprout has given our team actionable insights into our performance and that of our competitors. In short, its helping us to improve our social campaigns and drive the results we seek.
Great, and easy to use to manage our social channels
What do you like best about the product?
The platform was easy to set up, and it's easy to use weekly to schedule posts in advance. I like the reporting and tracking for changes to our metrics over time. This is great for my marketing reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost went up, so it's very pricey monthly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The analytics is very superior to what I can find on each social platform.
