Very sophisticated product

There is a easy to follow UI for creating APIs

Documents of specific fields are not enough.

I use the SOAP to REST transformation functionality to interconnect legacy system APIs and allow modern web application to use

Flexibility and ease to connect multiple systems.

Large file handling got some tricky downsides.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating multiple system, this a product manufacturing line hence multiple systems are involved.
It is a stable product offered by Software AG when it comes down to the integration space.

It is a stable product offered by Software AG when it comes down to the integration space.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as the downside goes, a bit more can be done to improve it's API capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All problems related to API, webServices, AS2 and legacy integrations with as old as AS400, COBOL Apps
It's quite clear to use for a beginner developer or support person.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and edit the settings. The server is quite organized and a beginner can also learn it quickly. The setup is also very easy. Easy and handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minute negative change can crash the server. It is not much user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use server for ACLS and packages and designer. Everything at a place. Real time problems.

The easy of use for someone who has no idea about ESB. It helped us to easily achieve our requirement and also improve the our application.

Nothing that I can think of. The integrations to modern products would be helful.

What do you like best about the product?
For a developer it's very handy to create business logic to transform and creates distinguished business integration and it's best in the market.
Not only that with regular updates and continuous adding functionalities webmethods is way above in comparison to his peers.
In my experience we integrated our application with multiple upstream or patrners and different ERP systems and business transaction happening smoothly

I dislike only one thing is that who are beginners doesn't get enough documentation free or any tutorial videos much

We are integrating multiple ERP systems like SAP S4 Hana, Drivel etc which is not easy in generic term.
With in built adapters we have in our integration server its very easy to post the content to any system

Absolutely yes with anything regarding to the data integration.
webMethods Integration Server strength is its core funtionality which is the best in market.
What do you like best about the product?
Interoperability and ease of development. Here ease of development doesn't compromised with capabilities and this product has a full stack of functionalities across board. Even though it is a low code development platform implements SOA principles, its processing capabilities and capability of handling of high thoughput transactions are unmached. Time to market in this product is amazingly fast.
Capability to develop services in any language is amazing.
Enterprise support from IBM is also best in class.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are particularly no downsize using Integratoin server. Few capabilities like parellal invoke should be included in a OOB services. However this can be created as custom implementation with ease.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross platform compatibilities and integration capabilities allowed us to build solution and application both in a single core.
we were able to bring legacy systems as well as modern system working onboard with simple integrations and we were also able to onboard propriety platform on to a single ESB as a reusable component with ease using this products ADK feature.
We have also been able to create custom application using flow language in collaboration with java that allowed business solve many business needs. This interns reduces costs as welll as time to market.

If you are looking for a Enterprise ESB product with right maturity and stability and has a need reduce time to market, Software AG Integration server is right for you.
This provide a perfect blend of off the shelf features to start with and cutomizeable capabities to go extra mile if needed in a single product.

Issues mainly with Cert issues when we interact with other cross domain but not that difficult. Easy maintainable and configurable for connecting cross functionally technologies with adapters
