Due to geographic differences, Software AG may finding difficult in assigning same engineer who worked first on this issue. Due to assigning new engineer for the same issue, customer endup in explaining the issue again and again. This is bit additional effort spent by customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of our problems are product fix, authentication, adapter issues, SSL communicator protocols. For all these problems, Software AG do provided solution.

webMethods very robust enterprise integration system

  • March 13, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
webMethods is a very powerful integration tool wich provides high flexibility when the interface design is complex and highly customised. The good variety of adapters has made integrations to other packaged application very easy. The great availaibity of product/support documentations make self-learning easy and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application patching/fixes experience is painful. SAG has changed the approach which now release product patches/fixes more often. Due to the short release cycle, some patches/fixes are not thoroughly tested. We had experienced twice that IS core fix has broken a core function in webMethods which gives system administrators very high pressure on regression testing and huge risks for implementtion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the implementation of webMethods in the company, we have modernised the interface design from old, inefficient file based transfer to robust eletronic data intechange. webMethods has empowered business with much better capacility. It provides much better flexibility to handle B2B requests from our customers and suppliers. It also largely reduced the development effort and complexity for our EPR and various different internal systems. It has definitely support the business digital footprint and transformation.

The Ease Of Use Of The AG Designer Software Has Made It The Best BPM Tool With Which I Ha

  • January 26, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Desginer offers many facilities for multilayer development, its lapse of learning and understanding is shorter compared to other 2 BPM tools that I have used previously. In just minutes you can create and deploy a BPMN in the IS without so many complications and the best of all is the broad and easy integration of services through adapters that adapt to almost any back-end. As for the utilitarian libraries, the software includes a very complete public library that facilitates and complements the developments, besides allowing the facility to develop and expose services in java to preference. In my experience I have worked in 2 different banking entities with this tool with successful results. They only have to improve the support and without a doubt the Software AG Designer would become one of the top tools of the BPM market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The direct support with the company is not so good and the community is very scarce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BPM integration solutions in a recognized bank for a credit system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Considering the market and its costs on top BPM technologies, I would recommend using the AG Designer Software since it has it all.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing Data with Webservices from Backend. Deploying Web Graphical User Interfaces for workers. Createing Data Interchange Services.
