Excellent In resolving EAI,B2B problems.
What do you like best about the product?
1.webMethods providing own cloud platform. mostly no one is providing own cloud platform nowadays.
2. providing a lot of adapters.
3. Providing good cluster solutions by using Terracotta.
4..Bettering message broker for IOT and other(Replacement of webMethods Native broker).
5.UM is good when comparing with other products.It is supporting MQTT, AMQT protocols.
6.webMethods Bpm provides better solutions when comparing with other BPM products.
7.work flow design is very good.easy to learn, user-friendly.

Complexity in components.
Basically, It is not under OSS.
Community support is less comparing with IBM support.
It is not comfortable when compared with MuleESB.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using webMethods Trading networks I resolved B2B reconciliation problems, webMethods supports for both EAI, B2B.Terracotta.
Currently, we are providing solutions by using Terracotta for IS clustering.
As of now, we are Excellent in B2B side.like as dealing EDIs, Edifacts.

Easy to learn and adapt Middleware Technology using webMethod
What do you like best about the product?
Web Methods services are mostly Java based service model and it is very easy to understand all predefined objects. Also, it is easy for Java based front-end developers can easily understand and learn the web method middleware products & become expertise in middleware.
What do you dislike about the product?
The unique webMethod designer tool is a bit hard to adaptable by other middleware users who are using IBM Integration Bus, TIBCO Active Metric and etc., The competitor's products are easy to develop designer based workflow, but webMethod has it sequential node based workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Service Oriented Architecture Middleware platform architecture can be easily build with webMethods. It has good compatibility to integrate with other third party product like DataPower, API Management and etc.,

Easy of Use and All products are tied up in one place for your middleware requirement.

What do you like best about the product?
You can integrate any technology from any vendor: Databases, SaaS platforms, Web services, JMS messaging systems .once you know what you are doing...it makes integrating services together easy. Ease of Coding and Ease of use. Tracking the transactions is easy with MWS. Constant upgrade in versions to improve and add features to meet the business requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to some product releases,faced issues during upgradation.

Lack of stamina and not too optimistic about the future of the product, other products like Mule have been gaining footprint in the market. Also the Microservices Architecture goes against these type of products.

Integrating legacy, trying to put in place SOA, putting in place some BPMs

The part I most like is the flexibility on configuration & development.
What do you dislike about the product?
The deployment is not easy to perform and monitor. It is not straightforward for migrator to move program to production.

We use it to move data between ERP and web site.

It has a good technology and great integration.

What do you like best about the product?
We process several thousand transactions/day through it, 365 days a year, and it is very solid. The ability to handle exceptions is very good, and the SOAP interface was very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a bit steep; it would be nice if the debugger was a bit more robust; the documentation could still be better, though it is improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a near realtime (2 seconds) interface between a PC-based application and a mainframe application. This worked great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We spent some money on a services agreement to do training and "coaching" during our first application, it was money well spent.
Very powerful tool, efficient and easy to pick up.
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to get started, really powerful once a base understanding is established. So many aspects of programming that you would normally have to worry about and address manually is done for you behind the scenes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The deployer is a little clunky, easy to accidentally make changes in higher environments when logged in for troubleshooting.
