Efficient File Sharing with Some Search Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox primarily for sharing files, which has been incredibly helpful for both personal and business purposes, as well as unique projects. One of the biggest assists for me is handling large files that can't easily be sent via email but can be placed in Dropbox, making it much easier to manage significant amounts of data. I also like the notifications feature, which alerts me when something has been modified in the platform. This is a real time saver because it eliminates the need for other forms of communication like emails or phone calls. It's especially useful when multiple parties are involved and need to access changed files. Overall, these features make Dropbox a valuable tool for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it's a little cumbersome inside as you dig down into files. Keeping things organized and how things are structured inside the platform with respect to the files can be a little confusing. I remember struggling a little bit with the setup. It wasn't a complete piece of cake, and there was a bit of confusion around the setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me handle large files not easily sent via email and saves time with notifications about file changes, reducing the need for additional communication.
Intuitive and Easy Document Sharing with Room for Notification Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Dropbox to share documents with clients and colleagues. It helps me send documents securely and keeps them in a central location. It's easy to use, and most people can intuitively figure it out, which means they're more willing to use it. The initial setup was pretty easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it doesn't send enough notifications about things being uploaded or downloaded, or they send too many notifications. I wish it would always send notifications when documents are uploaded or downloaded but not send useless end of the day emails that summarize what we already received throughout the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to share documents with clients and colleagues, ensuring they are sent securely and stored in a central location.
Effortless Collaboration, but Syncing Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I like Dropbox for its ease of use and the accessibility it offers, allowing me to access documents from any device and from anywhere with just one account. I find the cloud storage features particularly useful, along with the ability to share a Dropbox folder with multiple users. The initial setup was super easy, which is a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime Dropbox is a little slow to sync and if it doesn't sync right on one device I can access the most updated version on another device. Sometimes it doesn't sync after updating a document and then when I try to access the same document on another device I get the old version. I then have to go back to the previous device and manually hit the sync button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox lets me access documents from anywhere and is easy to use, allowing access from any device with one account.
Instant, Effortless Document Sharing with Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to share documents with multiple people right away, as soon as they’re dropped into Dropbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes up too much space on my phone, so I can only use it on my PC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The synchronization of all files across all devices
Great sharing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is easy to understand and powerful tool
What do you dislike about the product?
Identifying in which folder the document are is not intuitive. Sometime sharing on some country is not allowed. Also embedding documents is not too developped
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we want to send a big file we can choose to force download or just display
Dropbox is easy to use, fast, and reliable!
What do you like best about the product?
What I love the most about Dropbox is that it gives me a single source for offsite backups, easy sharing, and quick restores if something dies. With Dropbox i use their selective sync and online‑only for massive folders, and treat Dropbox as my fallback copy rather than my primary workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing plans, I wished there is more storage available for their plus plan. Additionally I wished their support team could be a bit more responsive for support tickets, as I have submitted some in the past and it would take a while for them to respond to my inquiry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to share files across to other users in a smooth and reliable manner. Files sync up immediately between different devices, it is flawless and reliable with fantastic sync performance. In my opinion it is still better than Google Drive, OneDrive and other ones in the same bracket.
Great reliable storage
What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox mainly as a backup for my main work files, but then also use Replay for collaboration on getting feedback from multiple people and quickly sharing progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would say is it would be nice if the UI was more friendly for shared links, so I could share footage directly from Dropbox files instead of through replay or other services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me know that even if my SSD should fail, everything is securely backed up and safe, along with being able to access those files on the go even when I don’t have my computer with me.
Easy Cloud Storage and Fast File Sync—Mostly Smooth Experience

it is mostly used for my cloud storage, it also sync for my local files and easy to access and it saves times for searching and the storage is more and time-speed also good
What do you dislike about the product?
the cloud storage was limited for free users and i can't pay for excess, also the ui can be better improved and need for be to responsive, the first user will get lot storage then, it was accessed by premium
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it takes less time for file access. when i uploaded, it helps to access with anywhere and anyone, the security and files are encrypted. the user support system was also answerable. i had dropbox with my storage compartments of PC, so i can easily use
Robust Uploads, But Needs Better Mac Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox to manage photography portfolios and uploads from volunteers. I appreciate its robust tagging, sharing, and uploading platform, which surpasses other platforms like Drive. I like the sync, upload features, and tags and metadata retention as they help with organization and make using raws and edits more effective and consistent. Initial setup is easy, and integrating across teams and onboarding new staff is simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Dropbox is a bit relentless when integrated with Finder and Mac, and is cumbersome to make stop syncing or to pause. At times during large syncs it ignores all changes and tweaks to settings. Maybe some optional in-between settings instead of full sync all the time can help, or making setup a little more modular.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox provides a robust platform for tagging, sharing, and uploading, helping with organization and consistent use of photos, including raws and edits.
Easy data synchronization
What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to my files across multiple platforms, works on Windows, MacOS, Android. Files are automatically updated and can be stored either online or online and offline.
Can be used to automatically sync and backup pictures from phone, can share files and golders easily when collaborating on projects. It is compatible with standard folder structures which makes it easy to integrate with the OS. The price is quite good for the amount of storage included.

What do you dislike about the product?
I recently had an issue where my Dropbox manager disappeared and I had to uninstall it before I could install it again and sync my files. It would also not recognise my previous Dropbox folder as the same folder so all the files were downloaded leasing a lot of duplicates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It help me keep my files on multiple devices to make it available on the computer with the software to analyse the files. Easier to share larger files that are too big to send via email.
