The best I've used
What do you like best about the product?
I came from a competitor (zencastr) and just fell in love with Riverside. The UX is wonderful. The production tools are great. The reliability is great. The support is great. This is the tool you need if you are a remote podcaster.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to record high def even though the internet usually fights against that. Plus there is LED meters to make sure you're getting high quality recordings. This was something I didn't have with my last provider, and my recordings came out different volumes. Here you can monitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making high quality podcasting possible without expensive hardware. With this package, you have everything you could possibly need to produce your own podcast or Youtube content.

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has given my team access to a new method of recording where our guests for the podcast we produce can feel comfortable in terms of security/privacy and quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside is sometimes confusing at first for people unfamiliar with the platform, which requires me to explain it thoroughly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The audio quality is significantly superior when using Riverside compared to recording via a digital meeting app like Zoom or Teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setting up a studio and inviting the guests. As well, I enjoy the framrate settings and hz settings for quality/speed sake. I also really like the magic clips creator, but wish it would make more based on a timeframe you give it within the episode.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish it didn't cost as much to get 4 more frames per second and the highest bit rate possible. Otherwise, it's been great. Sometimes the audio from the guest echos at times, even with "echo setting" turned on or off, so that is my only issue at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allows me to make 90% of my episodes in one place and have a place to refer back when I need to create/edit or pull content.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the quality is always stellar as it's saved on each guest's device first then uploaded. That way, even with a bad WIFI connection, the end result is still professional. I'm also really loving the Magic Clips feature they're not testing. It's SO HELPFUL in making short clips of any conversation!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to blur the background or add a different background is probably the feature that needs most improvement, in my opinion. It also is a bit intimidating for guests that aren't comfortable with tech to use. Although the directions are pretty straight forward!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy for amateur video editors to make high quality videos ANS SHORTER CLIPS! It's great. It makes it easy and quick. I even had someone message me complementing my video for its quality. I immediately recommended riverside.fm!
Riverside is excellent!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the quality of the videos. The picture is great and the sound is clear. I also love the magic clips for creating shorts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally have not had a negative experience so far with this platform. If I had to give any critques, I would only say to please continue to roll out the upgrades!

Riverside helped me to find a great platform to host my podcast video and audio.

What do you like best about the product?
When I made my transition from traditional to digital, we needed a platform we could trust. Also one that would evolve with the changing industry. Riverside.fm has done that and more! It’s an important part of how we create content.
What do you dislike about the product?
None to mention that are exclusive to Riverside.fm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue was connecting remote guest without intimidating them! Also, local uploading helped us solve connection issues. The recent AI upgrades have been perfect for saving us time with editing clips for social media.
Excellent Platform for Recording Podcasts
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been an exceptional platform to use to record my podcast, The Source of Commercial Real Estate. I especially like how easy it is to see trascripts and edit video clips.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any complaints about using Riverside. Whenever I've had a question, it's been answered quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want a podcast recording platform that makes it easy to get transcripts and video clips - Riverside is it!
High quality remote recording and extremely easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is intuitive. It was easy to learn and easy to use. It helped us create high-quality recordings for our project. The user interface is clean and everything seems to be in the proper place. I tried other popular remote recording programs and Riverside was the easiest to use and gave us great results.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any downsides to Riverside.fm. It was easy to learn and produced great results. If there is any room for improvement, I might suggest an editing feature built into the platform. I use Descript to edit my projects and find that really helpful for editing conversations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside helps us create high-quality recordings for our audio projects. It allowed for us to easily capture our interview content without putting the burden of figuring out the tech on our clients. Not one of the dozen or so interviewees had any trouble accessing the program and figuring out how to use it.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent customer service, with fast response times.

Editing via transcript is subpar and doesn't compare to a service in comparison to Headliner.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is solving time. By using the AI features of Riverside.fm I'm saving hours of finding, editing, and formatting suitable clips for social media. Also, by recording through Riverside.fm I don't have to worry about lag or bad audio as would be the case using traditional conference platforms such as Skype. Another option for recording video calls that comes in a close second is OBS Studio.
I am very pleased with Riverside - They are always growing and innovating!
What do you like best about the product?
The relaibility of the local recordings is amazing! I have had interviews completely drop out, but the files are always safe. I sometimes have guests who request that I use Zoom, and I am always amazed at how much Riverside is better suited for Podcasters. I also find that they are constantly adding new features. Just today I noticed the "Script" feature which allows you to have a script above the screen which is great for doing an ad read while maintaining your eye line. I also love the integration with Premiere Pro and using the markers that transfer over to my Premiere project.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have had a few issues where my voice gets out of sync from the video. I am using an SM7B through a Tascam Mixcast 4 into Riverside and ProTools simultaneously, so maybe that is causing an issue..but I just bump it over by about 8 frames in Premiere when editing the video and it isn't a huge issue. The guest is never out of sync, just me. The customer service is always great so they are quick to help you with any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to have to provide a long list of instructions for people to do a local recording on Zoom, but Riversdie has completely eliminated that. It is the easiest and most professional platform to just have the guest log on, and get started. All the features throughout are specifically designed for podcasting and it is a premium experience for everyone involved.
