Very happy with Riverside

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem I would have using Zoom, where the recording quality depends on the internet speed. I record a Podcast together with a friend and just love how easy it is to get a great result and high quality video and audio.
Super easy to use and provides the best quality audio and video
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy to use Riverside.fm is to use. I have used other recording platforms before for my podcast and Riverside by far produces the best video and audio quality. Even when it appears the internet connection isn't great the final quality is still always good!

Nothing! They are constantly improving to cater to the needs of their users.

Convenient all-in-one solution for podcast creation
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Riverside from the early start of this service, and even at the beginning it proved its value as a convenient tool, allowing to gather all participants in one place and record podcast with a high quality.
It's easy to use and doesn't require complex setup, so it's really good for invited guests that aren't really familiar with computers. It doesn't require any software installation, which is great for cooperative environments with a strict policies
Riverside team continue adding new and useful features virtually on weekly basis, and now you can even edit and publish podcast without extra tools

What do you dislike about the product?
I understand the complexity, but I'd really like to see the Support for Safari. It's my main browser, and it's more power-effective solution on laptop, saving lot of battery live time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It started as a simple tool to connect all participants and record our podcasts, but with latest additions it also became a great tool for basic editing, transcribing, and even publishing podcasts right from the browser.
Riverside.fm is the place to go!!!

Amazing podcasting (recording & editing) app. Robust features but also simple enough for a beginner
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside podcasting app is easy to use for beginners and even more valuable is the resources and tutorials (blog posts, youtube channel, etc.) helping new podcasters get up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. The technology, resources, and support are all super helpful.
Only thing that could be helpful is having additional features or recommendations for beginners. Perhaps a glossary or wiki. But again, I think all of the info is available on the site and/or YouTube channel.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only have used it twice now, have not found any downsides. I had a basic question and I was helped within minutes on a saturday
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy to create content with my clients
My go-to platform for podcast interviews and video recording!
What do you like best about the product?
The quality, by far! As a podcaster, audio quality is a major piece and Riverside definitely delivers here. I've tested other platforms that do this same thing, but nothing matches the kind of Audio (and video) quality for an 'over-the-internet' type of setup. It's also amazing to see Riverside continuing to push the envelop and constantly be updated and adding new features that make my job as a creator SO MUCH EASIER!
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing side of Riverside isn't perfect and can be a little cumbersome at times. That said, they have been steady implementing updates making it easier and easier to record AND edit all in one platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quality is the biggest problem Riverside solves. I know many people use Zoom for this type of thing, but the quality doesn't even pale in comparison to what you get from Riverside. Their new Magic Clips feature is also a huge time-saver when it comes to pulling short-form content from the long-form videos. I can't wait to see how this new feature continues to evolve.
Great userfriendly tool
What do you like best about the product?
For someone like me who is not very technical, I love Riverside, as it is very simple, intuïtive and fast. It has cool feathers.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only remark is that the quality of the video is not optimal. It could have to do with my camera, but I don't have that issue with other sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple way to edit and cut your video in pieces.
It's goes straigth on Spotify.
It can be downloaded to charge on youtube.
It allows for captions (I don't use it right now). If I had to use it for the translation, the AI is not optimal. Very average translation.

Highly recommend Riverside.fm
What do you like best about the product?
I've hosted virtual summits in the past and we always used Zoom. This time, we used Riverside.fm and were amazed by how much the audio was improved.
Overall, Riverside.fm was easy to use and reliable. I also love how it generates transcripts (saving us time and money, as we didn't have to invest in another program in order to create transcripts).
Whether you have a podcast or are hosting a virtual event, I'd highly recommend trying Riverside.fm.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was one interview where I was suddenly kicked out of the room - this only happened once (out of 21 interviews). I was able to get back in and pick up where we left off, but it was less than ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm gave us a great way to easily record interviews. We could have recorded both audios and videos, but only used audios for this project. It was easy to record and we came away with high-quality audios. I also really appreciate how it generates transcripts that we can easily edit and use.
