Simple and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is so simple to use it allows guests and presenters to work together super easily, and the benefits of being able to edit online and have a large amount of storage is great
What do you dislike about the product?
The slight downside of riverside is the cost, for small people it is a bit costly but I understand why the price is the way it is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is solving not having a collaborative space to work and host and continually store past recordings

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Riverside is excellent fast customer service that responds promptly through chat support and through email support. This compares to competitors in that you receive help faster. The editing software upload videos quickly, and it is easy to navigate when it comes to editing and clipping different Clips, using their smart clip software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes using the software requires more ram and memory than my computer can't handle. My computer is a Samsung. It is very old. That is not really a fall of Riverside bit more father of my computer. And my need to get a new computer or MacBook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solves problems by finding my Clips that I needed to find an recapture audio on. I unplug my headphones, and the audio split, and Riverside was able to recover & merge it.
So easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm new to podcasting and Riverside.fm has been so simple to use! It's easy to record, edit, and connect to all of the platforms for my users. I had a super quick and friendly response the one time I've had to reach out with a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered any issues so far, my one question was easily resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me reach more people and helping me to build my brand
Podcast newbie gets going in minutes
What do you like best about the product?
I don't know what I'm doing at all when it comes to podcasts or video editing or any of that. I was able to easily get guests on my show, and I didn't have to worry about the internet connection, sound, or probably a dozen other details I don't even know exist.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I think the only real complain I have is that the transcript doesn't get all of the 'ums and ahhs that people say. I know I can probably do more fine editing, but it'd be nice for all of the pauses to show up in the transcript so I can remove them with the AI in one go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not know how to do a podcast, how to record video, and how to coordinate interviews over the internet. And I don't need to. Riverside does all of it for me and handles the details. It's great.
Simplified and effective
What do you like best about the product?
The recording process is simple. The features are clear and easy to navigate. I appreciate how Riverside.fm has immediate help when you are unsure of what you're doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video feature showed me I was recording with a guest then stopped recording on my end but showed it was recording on the guest end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped me with my podcast. I've been able to record longer episodes and I'm learning more about the video feature. I love the integration with Spotify.
Easy to use, High quality and an accessible price
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the video and audio files. It's life changing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the only way I could use it for live-streams sucessfully would be if I were on the business plan. The pro is great for everything but high quality video live stream IMO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside makes it easy for the guest to jon the recording studio and makes it easy for me to edit the file afterwards. The quality is great too, and I appreciate that internet hiccups are no longer a problem since everything is recorded locally.
Very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface, it just works as it should without the problems other platforms have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can see yet honestly, hopefully nothing emerges as I use it more!

Split local track recording uploaded to the cloud without audio or video errors
Meets a need, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
This is a good solution for filming people remotely without the need to get them all setup to record themselves on a phone or do in person. Especially, if people are based in other countries. It is simple and easy to use. Great to have the video and audio files seperate and higher quality video that isn't reliant as much on strength of wifi. For sure meets a need in the market I think.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a better pricing model, especially to allow teams to work together in shared folders. There is an absurdly big jump in price between the basic individual license and then having any sort of team license with any of the enhanced feature. We also have some issues with the audio not being great or it picking up other buzing noises for instance. We don't want people to have to wear headsets as it then just looks too much like a Teams call. Have had to use plug in lapel mics that seem to work but then need to coordinate to get to our subjects we are recording.

The ability to record higher quality video and audio remotely but still have it look more like a recording that was actually filmed vs a Teams call

What do you like best about the product?
The video and audio quality is excellent. Ease of use is there, and customer service is great, too. I had some issues and still am learning my way around the platform, but I'm definitely pleased. I also like being able to render separate video and audio tracks for post production. I'm quickly getting comfortable with it and hope to launch my podcasts in a big way very soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer being able to monitor my voice thru my xlr connected microphone and audio interface. It works fine when I use a Shure NV7 with the mic going directly from it's USB output to my computer, but so far I cannot get the same result with the XLR connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had no expertise in podcasting and was unsure the best way to proceed. Riverside's all in one solution is good for me, since I already have a studio, but it was geared towards music. Riverside's platform is easier to use with a lot of great features and great quality audio and video output.
The Podcasting Platform For People With No Podcasting Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is an easy platform to use, especially for those of us who have never used another platform for podcasting in the past. The system is very easy to use. I like their AI features that allow you to make custom clips you can resize and share on social media and other mediums.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having access to the transcript is not possible with the basic version, I wish we did not have to pay extra for the most expensive version to access the text transcript of the podcast. Sometimes it is not that easy to edit the video when using the text editor since you have to be very exact at dragging the mouse since you might take out more content than what you needed to take out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a platform for us to record and edit our new podcast. With Riverside.fm we are able to do all this without having to buy and learn how to use another platform.
