Effortless Podcast Distribution and Production All in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside truly serves as a one-stop shop for podcasters, handling everything from show production to RSS distribution. I previously struggled for quite some time to get my show onto Apple Podcasts through Spotify, which was a frustrating experience. However, with just a few simple clicks on Riverside, my show was submitted and approved quickly, and it is now available on Apple Podcasts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing so far that has been a little frustrating is the music available in editing is not available in the Studio. My theme music is not available, so I've had to make some adjustments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has a great set of production tools and keeps adding all the time! I also really like their AI tools.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Riverside for around three years to manage two podcasts. Over that time, I have recommended the platform to several new podcasters. Riverside is reliable and packed with useful features. The built-in AI does an excellent job cleaning up audio, and being able to edit video directly from the transcript has truly changed the way I work. As someone with only basic editing skills, Riverside helps me achieve a professional level of production. I also feel that I have only begun to explore everything Riverside has to offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this stage, there isn't much to comment on. I do wish they offered integration with Buzzsprout, or at least included all of Buzzsprout's features, so I could manage everything within a single platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ultimately, Riverside has helped me reach a broader audience with my products and services through the content we produce. It has been excellent in increasing our brand awareness and supporting our lead generation efforts.

I've been using Riverside.fm for both my podcast and daily affirmation videos, and I can honestly say it's transformed the quality of my content. Before discovering this platform, my recordings looked completely amateur—but Riverside changed all that.

The learning curve has been challenging for me. Not because the solution is not intuitive. I just don't have as much time as I would like to get to that expert level.

The teleprompter feature has done the most to level up my videos!

I enjoy the ease of use that riverside provides. It was extremely convenient and way easier than others I've tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I think riverside could improve on is how big the video screen is while editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making my job easier and making it less stressful on me. It gives me the option to film more content instead of taking hours of time to edit videos.
Feature-Rich and Effortless Video Editing Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It is very feature-rich, and makes a lot of video recording, editing, exporting simple and easy. It's arguably the best all-in-one recorder and editor on the market. And the developers listen to the customers! I've asked about features and saw them added later on and I was absolutely shocked!
What do you dislike about the product?
Using AI to do smart editing is problematic, it edits out sounds like laughter and word endings.
Also when you first record, the audio and video is never synced up.
And it doesn't allow for gifs to be added to the editing timeline.

It's making you so that I don't have to have multiple subscriptions to one place for video recording, another place for editing, and another place for AI features.
Effortless Recording and Editing for Podcasts and YouTube
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of recording, editing, automatic shorts generation, and hosting for podcast/youtube channels is AWESOME!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could more easily divide some of the automatic generation of shorts and AI tools when we do batched recordings of multiple episodes in one session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one location that allows me to have guests on shows.
All-in-One Podcast Editing with Excellent Audio Quality
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the recording is really good. I love that I can completely edit the episode within the platform itself...adding music, transition, text, etc. I also love the ability to edit via the transcript and not have to find the cutoff points on the timeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is not being able to fully edit my podcast via the app like I can on my laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a one stop shop to record, edit and produce my podcast. It's come a long way since when I first started using it. They listen to your comments and actually added some of my desired functionalities. The customer service is also very good. I had an issue with one episode and they were able to resolve my problem.
Innovative Features That Anticipate Creative Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Since its inception, it's been constantly coming up with features that respond to the many thoughts I've had as a creative producer that go something like "it would be great if someone would do xxxx."
What do you dislike about the product?
When I'm doing multiple takes, I would love the ability to review a clip immediately after vs. jumping over to a new page and waiting for it to process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's becoming an all-in-one spot to quickly create and edit the type of video content that needs to be generated quickly and effortlessly. It's not competing with Premiere or DiVinci. Those are for more creative, complex projects. It's making it so I don't have to bounce between multiple platforms to create something with a very specific (yet increasingly ubiquitous) use... and I'm here for it!
Easy to Learn with a Wealth of Tools for Podcasting
What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve is not steep at all, AND the long tail of tools and improvements is vast. That's a great combo for a podcasting platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still misfires on the AI tooling side, though its a lot tighter than I would have thought.

Wanted a one-stop shop for podcasting, and found it here.
User-Friendly and Continuously Improving Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is easy to use, and they keep adding features that we, the users, request. I love this program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the addition of hosting podcasts, this is now so valuable to any business.
