Our team content repurposing has been taken to a whole new level by this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The transition was without any problems. The interview which was conducted remotely was our first and it happened within an hour of us signing up. The description of rather than this or that, the separate, high-quality tracks for each speaker are the best things one can say; this is because it provides pristine material for the post-production team. Perfect for our software demo videos, the screen capture feature is as efficient as the video recording process. We use it for our weekly internal town halls and client case study interviews. Quite clever is the text-based video editor which is a feature that saves us an enormous amount of time when creating short clips for social media and thus we are able to repurpose a 45-minute interview into a dozen assets in an afternoon.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app, which is only functional, cannot compare with the desktop browser version of the app that is more beautiful and user-friendly. We had a guest who mainly uses a tablet, and he said that the controls were a little bit hard to understand. The live streaming features of the platform that are meant to be compared with the incredible execution of other areas, seem to be a little bit behind the time when compared to those of a live streaming dedicated service. I would add that while staff responded to our problem, their first email was a generic one that didn't really acknowledge our specific technical query about file formats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solves the problem of how to increase content production without the need for more budget or causing more production problems. The chief pain was the difficulty and degradation of quality that we faced when using other remote recording tools. Each participant's locally recorded audio and video are of excellent studio-grade quality, and thus Riverside has eliminated the quality gamble. This is enhancing the ROI of our interview-based content in a very fundamental way. Every conversation, which is turned into the very reliable foundation of our entire content engine, is utilized to the fullest extent.

The Most Reliable Partner for High-Stakes Recording

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most is Riverside's flawless reliability. Unlike other platforms that occasionally suffer from drops or quality fluctuations, Riverside delivers consistently perfect audio and video, every single time. The local recording feature is genius - it ensures that even if someone's internet connection is unstable, their individual track remains crystal clear. This reliability has given me complete peace of mind during important client recordings and live sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app, while functional, doesn't quite match the seamless experience of the desktop version. The interface feels slightly cramped, and accessing some advanced settings requires extra taps. That said, it's more than adequate for joining recordings on the go, and the core recording quality remains excellent even on mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solved our biggest challenge: maintaining professional quality in remote recordings. We no longer have to choose between convenience and quality. The platform has been crucial for producing client testimonials, training materials, and expert interviews that look and sound like they were recorded in a professional studio. This has elevated our brand perception and allowed us to expand our service offerings significantly.

The Go-To Platform for Flawless Remote Interviews

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The unparalleled audio and video quality is what truly sets Riverside apart. As someone who regularly records interviews with clients and industry experts, I need a platform that guarantees studio-grade results without requiring a technical setup. The separate, high-fidelity tracks for each participant are a lifesaver in post-production, giving my team perfect clarity and flexibility. It just works, every single time.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the core recording experience is exceptional, the built-in text-based editor feels a bit basic compared to the rest of the platform. For quick edits, it's fine, but we typically download the files for more advanced polishing in a dedicated editing suite. A slightly more robust in-browser editing feature would make the workflow even more seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has completely eliminated the anxiety of recording high-stakes remote conversations. Before, we struggled with sync issues and inconsistent audio on other platforms, which undermined our professional credibility. Now, we can confidently record podcast episodes and client testimonials with participants from anywhere in the world. This has not only elevated our content quality but also significantly expanded our production capabilities without increasing our budget.

Helps keep our remote recordings smooth and consistent

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has made it easier for us to record interviews and team discussions online. The audio stays clear, and even when someone’s connection drops, the recording isn’t lost. The platform is simple to use, and guests can join easily through a link without any setup. I also like that the files save automatically and can be accessed later without any trouble. It feels dependable for regular use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes longer videos take a bit more time to process, and I’ve noticed that editing directly in the browser can lag if multiple tracks are open. It’s manageable, but a small area for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier we had issues with sound cutting out or losing sync during recordings done over other tools. With Riverside, those problems have been reduced a lot. It keeps things more stable, and we don’t have to repeat sessions anymore. It saves time and gives us consistent results for our projects.

Stable and dependable option for remote recordings

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been a reliable tool for recording interviews and discussions remotely. The biggest advantage is that each participant’s audio and video are saved locally, so even if someone’s internet drops for a moment, the final recording still comes out clean. The interface is simple and doesn’t require much setup, which makes it easier for guests who aren’t very technical. I also like that it works directly from the browser, so we don’t have to install extra apps every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that slows us down sometimes is the upload and processing time after long sessions. It can take a bit of patience before the files are ready to download. Also, I noticed that the mobile version doesn’t have all the same options as the desktop one, but it still works fine for short recordings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Riverside, we had problems with dropped calls and poor sound quality during online interviews. Editing took longer because of those issues. Since we started using Riverside, our sessions have been much smoother, and the recordings stay consistent even with multiple guests. It helps us save time and keeps the final output more organized and usable.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Riverside works reliably even when internet speed isn’t great. The local recording system helps keep audio clear, and it’s easy to send a link and start a session. The layout is straightforward, so it doesn’t take much time to get used to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a bit longer to upload long recordings, and I’ve seen small sync delays when switching between camera views. Not major issues, but worth noting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often record interviews and meetings remotely, and before using Riverside, connection drops caused a lot of frustration. With this tool, recordings stay stable and usable, which saves us time during editing and follow-up work.

Efficient Podcasting with Great Clips—Just Missing Built-In Publishing

  • October 21, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has helped me be more efficient in my podcast recording process. I love the magic clips for YouTube shorts and Reels, the ease of editing transcripts, and the sound and video quality in the recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm looking forward to having a podcast platform attached to Riverside to cut out additional steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using AI on Buzzsprout that was lack-luster. I was able to cancel that additional cost and love what Riverside has to offer.

Reliable and studio-level quality for remote recordings

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What stands out to me about Riverside is how professional the results look compared to other recording tools I’ve tried. The platform records locally for each participant, which means even if someone’s Wi-Fi drops, the final video and audio still come out flawless. I also like that the interface is simple — I can send a link, my guest joins in seconds, and everything just works. It feels like a real studio setup but inside a browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the processing and upload times were a little faster after long recordings, and the mobile app could use some of the same editing tools as the desktop version. Still, these are minor issues compared to the overall reliability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before switching to Riverside, recording remote interviews was stressful — lag, echo, and poor sync were constant issues. Now, our podcasts and video sessions come out sharp every time. It’s made our production smoother, our turnaround faster, and our quality noticeably higher. Clients and listeners have both mentioned the improvement.

Riverside made remote recording smooth and professional

  • October 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy Riverside makes remote interviews and podcast sessions. The platform feels very stable, and even when someone’s connection drops, the recording quality stays crystal clear thanks to local capture. The layout is clean, guest invites are simple, and I love how everything syncs automatically without technical setup. It genuinely saves us hours every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes uploading large video files after long sessions takes a bit of time, and I’d like to see more layout customization for video exports. Other than that, it performs consistently and delivers excellent results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to struggle with unreliable connections and poor audio when recording remotely. Since switching to Riverside, we’ve been able to maintain professional sound and video quality no matter where our guests are located. It’s helped us scale our content creation process and deliver a far more polished end product.

Professional quality, but without the production hassle.

What do you like best about the product?
Itsaudio and video quality were the main points that convinced us. We do a monthly podcast and bring on guests from all over the country. And internet connections have always been a problem. Even if a guest's connection is bad, Riverside's local recording feature makes it possible to have an excellent, high-fidelity recording from their side. Our editor is greatly benefitted from the separate audio and video tracks for each participant. Also, the capacity to record the screen and video of everyone at the same time has been wonderful to the short, impactful clips for social media. Our guests are able to join without any technical support as the procedure is quite understandable. My team can do quick edits by utilizing the platform's in-built editor which is quite easy and they do not have to send the files to another party.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basically, the audio is of a high standard; however, the accompanying editing features might only be appropriate for simple operations and could be seen as somewhat limited if compared to a fully-fledged desktop editor. For instance, the example given was that one cannot as easily directly make highly accurate changes to a multi-track timeline. It was during this time that we also ran into a situation where a recording's processing took longer than it usually does before it could be downloaded, and for this reason, we had a slight delay in our publishing schedule. Possibly, the enormous number of features may overwhelm you at your first attempt, but very soon you work out which ones are necessary for your daily workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside takes care of issues which were a thorn in our sides - the fluctuation in guest audio/video quality and the mammoth file sizes that come with high-res recordings. Previously, we used to ask our guests to shoot videos on their phones, and then syncing and cleaning up those files would eat into our time. Currently, everyone sounds and looks as if they are in a professional studio, which elevates the perceived quality of our brand. So, there has been a very drastic reduction in both pre-production stress and post-production editing time. The crew is no longer bogged down with technical problems, but rather, they have time to focus on content promotion and audience engagement. High-quality podcast production which was a logistical nightmare has now become a manageable part of our content strategy.
