Wow! Just wow…
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use! I literally woke up at 3 am and went to my office thinking I had an idea for a podcast. I have never done one. After some research I decided to subscribe to Riverside and by the end of the day I had completed my first one!
What do you dislike about the product?
Struggling a bit with sessions and projects, but I am working it out!

Polished, efficient, and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is for my podcast guests to join my Riverside studio and record. We like to spotlight leaders from around the world and often, they won't have the best internet. The fact that Riverside records locally and then uploads the recording works like magic and allows all of the guests to have high quality video and audio on every episode. I also really enjoy how flexible and easy the branding options are with Riverside. We can go from recording to production and publication in minutes - including accurate subtitles for our multi-lingual podcasts and episodes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to upload the intro and outro bumpers to Riverside so I can edit everything within the one platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Video and audio recording, editing.
Riverside Make It Easy to Start
What do you like best about the product?
I am starting a new podcast and the most intimidating part was the idea of editing... Riverside alleviates that worry completely! I am blown away by how user friendly and intuitive the editing interface is. If you can edit an email, you can edit a podcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything I dislike. It seems to be comprehensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am starting my first podcast and I am literally learning as I go. I used Zoom for my first two recordings and quickly realized that I was going to struggle to edit the content without a better solution. I have now recorded ten episodes and edited three with Riverside. It's an excellent platform for someone like me.
The best to use easily
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Riverside because it's so easy to use. As a first time podcaster and first time user of the site, it's so easy to just sign in, hit record and share the studio link with a guest. I also love the features that it can create social media clips for you, notes, transcripts, everything you need to run a successful podcast. I feel I'm barely scratching the service of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I notice that the lag is common. Riverside takes up a lot of bandwith so I've had issues with guests where the upload process on their end takes awhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of needing a bunch of different software and paying for subscriptions to a lot of things.
I'm in a rushto produce professional looking video content and this is my go-to for that.
What do you like best about the product?
I use Riverside’s screen recording tool every single day to save social media ads, website tutorials and walk through’s in analytics. And the quality is consistently sharp — even when I’m scrolling or zooming — so everything looks polished. I also appreciate the ability to capture my face and my screen at the same time; it adds a personal touch to demonstrations. The isolated audio track is a godsend when I only have to rerecord my own voiceover.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to see more brand-specific customization in the editor, such as logos or lower-thirds that could be done without going outside the platform. On Occasion the mobile screen recording may become buggy because of the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s eliminated the challenge of expensive video production for basic digital content. Without using any difficult to use software, I'm quickly able to make engaging video ads, marketing how-to videos & campaigns as well as video sales letters. I have better click-through rates, and am saving hours each week editing in-platform vs switching tools.
The end of fuzzy hard-to-see board meeting demos
What do you like best about the product?
I do this to capture a clear video of diagrams of equipment, maintenance schedules, or a map of our facility to broadcast at board meetings. And it looks sharp even when nonhouseholder members join via Google Meet — no lag or fuzzy lines there. It just works, and everyone can see what I mean.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to draw arrows or circle things right in the video as I record, as if I were using paper. These files can also get fairly large if I'm recording a long walk through of reports for inspection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It justmakes things easier for everyone. Rather than trying to share my screen over a shaky meeting connection, I pre-record a nice, smooth video. Board members can follow along easily, and I don’t have to say the same thing over and over again. It has made sharing maintenance updates easy and stress-free.
Great tool for any level of experience
What do you like best about the product?
The tools recording quality is very good. The fact that it creates a transcript in addition to the video is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, I can't think of anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to interview prospects and use the transcript to be able to build a plan for them on how I can solve some of their business pains.
So much more clear than doing live, the sound is perfect.
What do you like best about the product?
Instead of scheduling one more live call, I use it to record quick videos explaining tech things for my team or clients. The build quality is great — everything remains sharp and easy to read when I’m zipping around between windows. It just seems a lot more professional than a fuzzy, shared screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often forget to put notifications off before I record! A little "are you sure?" reminder would be helpful. The videos can also be really fat if I record for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me so much time. So I can now once record a nice explanation and everybody can watch it at their convenience. No longer will the same thing have to be said on multiple calls. My clients love it — they can pause, they can rewind if they missed something. It’s made communication much simpler.
MOCO A Practical Support for Audio and Video Editing in Planning of Maintenanceög project.
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been a useful resource for producing audio and video materials to complement maintenance planning in our ecommerce business. The quality of the audio and video is pretty amazing as well, producing crisp recordings for training videos and walking them through how to use our inventory management software. The platform is user-friendly, has an uncomplicated design, and doesn’t get lost in complicated settings that keep me from recording and editing. It was easy to set up for our team (we were up and running within a day or two), and it plugs seamlessly into other shared tools like Google Drive and Trello for sharing edited files. Customer service has been responsive with a question about file formats answered in less than a day. We use Riverside multiple times a week to create training material or capture new features by recording system updates to our applications, and while the tool offers features—such as separate audio and video recordings, transcription services and basic editing tools—that are perfect for us, it doesn’t overwhelm us with tons of features that we might never use.
What do you dislike about the product?
For edited videos, the render time can go longer than I'd like, especially for longer sessions which slows the sharing with my team. I also want more in-editor tools, such as real-time audio leveling or basic video overlays, to minimize reliance on external software. Integration with our tools is pretty seamless, but setting up access for some temporary team members required extra setup with secure file sharing, which wasn’t as seamless as we expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside’s made it simple to produce high-quality audio and video for our maintenance planning purposes. For instance, I make sure that I have it to be able to record and edit detailed tutorials on how to update our warehouse systems or troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure that the audio is clear and the video captures exactly what I need step-by-step. This has been really important as I train people around the country and there would be less need for me to repeatedly do face-to-face training. It’s so intuitive, it makes life easier (especially when we were short on time) for me when creating content, and with the separate tracks we can just splice and edit easier to clean up any background noise, video, or something of that a nature. The transcription feature is a time-saver, converting recordings into written guides or captions for accessibility. It’s helped make our training process much more successful, allowed us to keep documentation more consistent between the team, and has helped keep the team aligned, enabling us to be more effective.
