Some of the loading times and uploading pieces especially for guests can get tricky.

Seamless Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use. It's ability to create generated summaries and bullet points
What do you dislike about the product?
The limits. Riverside has various limits that I think if removed or expanded. It would be a better a product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping record and store podcast interviews with successful guests
Can't imagine podcasting without Riverside
What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to figure out how to use it, and I'm using it a lot. Like 3X per week. They also make a lot of product updates so there's always something new to try out. If I ever come across an issue I can message or email CS and they'll help me take care of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the product updates aren't fully polished and there are some kinks to work out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a podcast host and need an intimate, professional place to record my sessions. I'm also a content creator so I need the Magic Clips and the transcripts to help me create content for myself and for clients. Uploading recordings and using Riverside's features has become really helpful as my my client work has leaned more heavily into content creation.
Riverside makes podcasting a breeze!
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve tried a few recording platforms, but Riverside has quickly become my favorite. The interface is incredibly intuitive—everything is right where you expect it to be, making it easy to jump in and start recording without a steep learning curve. The directions are clear, concise, and easy to follow, so even first-time users can get professional results.
Uploads are lightning fast, and the audio and video quality is consistently excellent. I love knowing that my content will look and sound great without spending hours troubleshooting. Riverside truly streamlines the podcasting process so I can focus on the conversation, not the tech.
Highly recommend for anyone who values ease of use, speed, and quality!

How Ovissy Can Be an All-In-One for Podcast Hosting and Studio-Quality Transcriptions
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside also is the place I host my professional podcast interviews w/it being so accurate and easy to use, it has made me only post on any other platform if I REALLY have to. The single-channel, high-quality audio tracks of each guest ensure our episodes sound professional and the automated transcription saves my team 10+ hours in post production per week. Everything is really centred on the ease with which we can repurpose content — having the transcriptions means that blog posts, social media snippets and newsletter content can all come from one recording session.
I use it to record interviews, and its stability means no worries when I need absolute peace of mind during crucial ones. Whereas other solutions we have tested it never drops recordings, even the Internet is not strong. The ability to record high-quality video podcasts with crystal-clear audio has had a big impact on the perceived professionalism of our brand.

What do you dislike about the product?
The vast majority of the transcription is impeccable, but some proprietary terms or dialects can trip an error in recognition and need to be subsequently corrected on a minor amount. The mobile app, which is a huge plus when we are moving as much as this app offers, is rather limited compared to the desktop version (I want to review recordings on the go!)
Advanced analytics for our hosted content as well would be great — we actually supplement this with Google Analytics to see how listeners are receiving the episodes. It is fairly priced, but the pricing structure could be less rigid for early stage startups with variable recording needs.

What we wasted Time and Money on before Riverside :
Transcriptions — Avg $3/minute 24 hour turnaround
Post Production (audio engineers to clean up bad recordings)
3 ≠ 1 You will need multiple platforms for recording, hosting and distribution.
Now we have:
Transcripts that are available immediately and searchable for every interview (great for repurposing content)
Our brand in a professional media hosting solution.
Massive by cutting down on multiple service subscriptions
But most importantly, Riverside has helped us in our efforts to scale thought leadership. QWe've tripled our publishing frequency without adding headcount and now have pros reaching out to be guests on the podcast. Even with just the time savings it has given me peace of mind to focus more on overall growth strategy not as much production logistics.

A Comprehensive Solution for Professional Screen Capture, Hosting, and Webinars
What do you like best about the product?
As a Managing Director, in-line video recording is vital to chip, screen and host webinars over Riverside, where it excels on all 3 fronts. Recording locally is important for when quality needs to be at the highest level, as it involves our executives standing in front of people and we need that presentation facing clients. Within Communicate, individual tracks are recorded for each user (to whatever extent possible), taking the headache of post-production editing off our plate and saving our team hours.
In the world of webinars, Riverside impresses us again with its reliability. Compared to other platforms that tend to lag or drop you connection, Riverside still functions smoothly even at scale. Having the transcription built-in is incredibly useful — we now have a fully searchable, accurate record of each of our sessions that we can send to stakeholders or re-use for marketing purposes.
The integration with our existing tools (like Slack and Salesforce) is seamless, and the hosting feature enables us to keep up a catalog of professional and branded media without having to pay for more platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
Looking at Riverside, it does a great job in the majority of areas but falls behind when analyzing webinar analytics such as attendee engagement during live events. The mobile app is serviceable but — as with all smartphone-based solutions — it lacks the more granular controls afforded on desktop, which can be a bit limiting when reviewing recordings on the go.
Setting up webinar for more than 100 participants took a bit of tinkering back and forth with the support to get right as well. It runs beautifully after setting it up but the learning curve for more advanced features could be easier.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We bounced around using multiple tools for recording, hosting, and webinars (since we also make a podcast), which resulted in inconsistent quality, added costs, and workflow inefficiencies BEFORE Riverside. With everything now under one roof we can ensure a refined and consistent finish to all our content.
Our thought leadership has been impacted the most. Riverside has increased our hiring with their monthly executive webinars and the reliability and post-production tools have changed people's perspective of our brand from just two dudes in a van. This has also increased our marketing reach by allowing us to short clips for social media created from quickly edited pieces of recordings.
This represents a huge time-saving from an operations perspective. While this was previously a manual process that could take hours of file management and editing, it now largely automates our workflow so we can focus on improving the quality of content rather than technical barriers.

Game-Changing Transcription Accuracy for Financial Compliance Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside's transcription has changed the game for us as an admin in financial services dealing with client meetings, compliance calls and internal audits. It is incredibly accurate, even for insider plain English that we reviewers encounter (eg "SEC regulations," "AML protocols") and that our documents necessarily contain. We can edit transcripts in-platform and export them directly into our compliance software (e.g., DocuSign, SharePoint)—saving us hours rather than going through whoever we would have gone to for traditional transcription services. The time-stamped notes are great as well, we can send to our legal team so they can quickly refer to the sections (in a scheduled review). As a separate speaker identification, it is spot on even with multiple participants in a call and get rid of the post-meeting cleanup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription itself is great, but further customization options for the formatting of exported transcripts (i.e. PDF vs Word) would be more useful in closer matching our firm's templates. Every once in a while, an exceptionally fast speaker (or heavier accents) will require some manual tidying up, but this is infrequent. I also find the transcription preview in the mobile app less intuitive than on the desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Riverside, we used 3rd party transcription services costing up to $3/minute and frequently delayed by over 24hrs. We now have near-instant, searchable transcripts for client onboarding, dispute resolutions, and regulatory audits. COMPLIANCE: Riverside Security measures ensure the financial data is encrypted and with all protections to meet standards of FINRA, GDPR required human–machine interface. Our admin team now also has to do ~30% less of the worst part of their job (not chasing down meeting summaries or correcting awful transcriptions from unreliable services is a blessing).
Reliable, High-Quality Hosting for Seamless Enterprise Podcasting and Webinars
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has made my life — as an IT Director — much easier in terms of our multimedia hosting and recording workflows. The local recording is essential for our corporate communications and training sessions, as it makes sure the audio and video reflect studio quality even with remote guests. Integration with tools such as Zoom, Slack and our current CMS (e. g., WordPress via embed links) made it easy to distribute content for us. As we saw at the event, the separated audio/video tracks with AI-powered enhancements (e.g., noise reduction) save hour's worth of time for our team in post-production. We selected Riverside primarily because of its robust enterprise-grade security and compliance (encryption, user-access controls & meets our IT policies).
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a best in breed platform but needed some minor support for the initial setup of larger deployments such as SSO integration. While the analytics dashboard is helpful, it could provide more actionable insights for enterprise customers — such as CRM hot leads and marketing automation engagement scoring tied to viewers. File exports can also take a little longer for 4K video at times, though recent updates are addressing this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside removes the headache of juggling multiple pieces of software to record, edit and host. For instance, in the past we have to rely on a different tool for webinars (Zoom), editing content (Adobe Premiere) and finally hosting it online afterwards (Vimeo), which always brought up a few combability issues and an overhead. By river side we have centralized these workflows thereby reducing cost and guaranteeing quality at all times. And improved professional looking videos sent out to clients and partners without delay has also improved our external facing content being generated off the platform. This has been massive for IT: lowering the strain on internal bandwidth (no need for on-premise storage) and ease of API (application programming interface) integrations have made a huge difference.
Reliable, High-Quality Remote Recording for Seamless IT Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
During the troubleshooting sessions as an IT Support Engineer, Whenever we have a training webinar or internal knowledge sharing document I record those for future reference. Riverside has some of the best local recording features, making your audio/video quality appear solid even when battling rubbish internet connections (like me) All the tracks that come in can be isolated for each participant, making post-production a breeze as no more waiting through merged audio or sync issues. We have a great platform for real time collaboration with low-latency streaming and there is one-click guest invites so it's super easy to onboard external experts. They also save hours of manual note-taking with the AI-powered transcriptions which is very useful for documenting technical process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside performs the most well in basic functions, but switching video layouts during a session can cause the desktop app to be a little jumpy The free version however only records up to 2-hours which mmight just be too little for some longer IT training sessions, but we can live with it. I also would love different branding options like the option to add your own logos for client facing recordings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote Collaboration – Since team members and clients are spread out across the globe, Riverside's ability to record locally allows Riverside never to have to worry about the "Zoom audio degradation" ever again.
Efficiency: I could reference key moments in troubleshooting sessions with the auto-generated transcripts (including timestamps).
According to a professional: 4K video, and 48kHz audio allow internal training materials to look slicker resulting in fewer queries after the event.
Scalability : The API integrations (eg, Slack, Google Drive) automatically backup files reducing the workload of IT admin.
Riverside really is a total game changer for all IT teams that need a reliable recording solution.
