Smooth, Reliable, and Easy, Exactly What I Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Riverside.fm when I got tired of dealing with glitchy Zoom recordings and inconsistent audio from remote guests. Since switching, it’s been a total game-changer. Even when my guest has a spotty internet connection, the local recording feature captures everything in crystal-clear quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve had a few minor issues with guests on mobile, nothing major, but a bit of a hiccup here and there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is solving one of the biggest headaches in remote content creation: poor audio and video quality. Before using it, I was stuck dealing with choppy Zoom recordings, lag, and guests sounding like they were underwater. It made editing a nightmare and the final product felt unprofessional.
Absolutely the best for beginners!
What do you like best about the product?
The studio is easy to navigate. I am not tech savvy and I was able to record with video, use transcripts, and edit seamlessly. I am grateful for Riverside's software!!! And even the monthly fee is not bad. Hopefully I will continue to learn and be able to become monetized also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to add music before the podcast during edit. I click the plus sign to add music and it adds music to the end of the podcast. I would certainly say it is USER error more than software glich, other than that, things are GREAT!!

What do you dislike about the product?
may be can breakdown the subscribtion to cheaper version with some limitation so that to encourage more ppl to use and always having the option to upgrade later

Riverside.fm is the Secret Weapon Every Podcaster Needs—Flawless Audio, Zero Headaches
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Riverside.fm is its ability to deliver consistently high-quality audio and video recordings, even when participants are connecting remotely. The platform’s local recording feature ensures that final files remain clear and professional, regardless of any internet hiccups during the session. Additionally, the user interface is intuitive and streamlined, making it easy to navigate and manage recordings without technical hassle. It’s a reliable, efficient tool that elevates the entire production process.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there's one area where Riverside.fm could improve, it's in the occasional learning curve for new users—especially those who aren't as tech-savvy. While the platform is generally intuitive, some of the more advanced features might benefit from clearer in-app guidance or tooltips. That said, once you get the hang of it, the functionality more than makes up for the initial adjustment period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm allows for ease of video conferencing and recording for our podcast.
Great software for podcasts - Honest Review
What do you like best about the product?
The functions of the platform didn’t take too long to get used to. Although editing transcripts take a while with flubs on words said, the end product can be wonderful. I cannot have done a better more expedited way otherwise for all my episodes. Love the AI voice feature, kinda want it done with beta testing so it can be more broadly used. I know no other software better for podcasts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a top end 2-year old laptop I’m using the software on and I still have problems running into processing with buffer zones whilst editing the clip - having to add captions at the end of everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create a polished podcast. It’s generating me clients.
A perfect online recording platform
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside not only provides quality recording performance for podcasts, online video interviews, and remote recording but its platform editing, features, and connectivity are all intuitive and extremely easy to learn and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly it has a LOT of features and while it's very easy to figure out how to do what I need to do, I feel like there's a lot more to the video editing and other features I'm not using to the full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote recording of quality independent audio/video streams of each participant to enable more precise control of editing and engineering.
Hit the Ground Running

The software is so clean and easy to use. It makes you feel like a professional editor even when you are simply a layperson! There is enough 'stuff' to help professionalise your recordings without feeling overwhelmed and it's intuitive interface means that you can hit the ground running.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything yet! It is super simple and clean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anything Ive tried is so complicated - it was just beyond the time I had available to create and edit. With Riverside I can do both without having to outsource so its solves a time and cost issue for me.
Riverside is cheap and easy to use. Perfect for a start up podcast!

I saved money by using Riversidefm
What do you like best about the product?
I used to record on riverside then download the videos to my laptop. Then I would upload those videos to CapCut. After many problems with CapCut (like graphics not displaying on exported videos) I cancelled the 19.99 a month service and switched to Riversides 14.99 a month service. Riverside has all I need to edit my podcast and repurpose it into short form content. Riverside has everything I need all in one place. It has saved me time and money. Also the one time I did experience an issue on Riverside they gave me two free months of service. I would definitely recommend. Robert P. (Creating Greatness Podcast)
What do you dislike about the product?
Well the music and royalty free videos are lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are making editing videos seamless.
Reliable for Remote Podcasting with Pro-Level Quality
What do you like best about the product?
The local recording quality is what keeps me coming back. I use Riverside.fm for my podcast Why Uce, and even with guests across the country, the audio and video always come out sharp. I also like how I can get separate tracks for each speaker, which makes editing way easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the guest onboarding process is a bit clunky. A few of my guests have struggled with mic/camera setup even when using Chrome. The built-in editor works for quick fixes, but I prefer exporting and finishing the episode in a more robust program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm gives me studio-quality recordings without needing to be in an actual studio. As the host of a remote podcast, that’s huge. My guests are often in different states, and Riverside lets us capture clean audio and high-res video no matter where they are. It solves the problem of low-quality Zoom-style recordings that don’t hold up when repurposing content for YouTube or social. It’s also helped me streamline my workflow with automatic separate tracks and cloud backups. Overall, it’s made it easier for me to stay consistent and look professional—two things that matter most when building a serious podcast brand.
