A Must Have Tool for Remote Video Production Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm provides Studio-level recording form the comfort of your browser. Our video shoots used to involve heavy software and time-consuming editing, but now I can direct remote interviews and capture multi track footage in HD with no lag or sync issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see collaborative editing support for teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's help us scale our video content efforts across countries without compromising quality. Guests love how easy it is to join a session, and our editors appreciate the clean audio/video handoffs.
Riverside gets better and better
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a novice podcaster with a year's worth of experience and about 15 episodes in a niche area. When I started, someone else was doing a lot of my production. Now, I'm on the platform every few days and I'm able to take advantage of new tools like Magic Clips and create high-quality shorts with my logo and quickly get them posted online before the main show posts, and I'm really happy with that.
I love the fact that when I think "Oh, I wish there was a way to make it easier to do X..." if it doesn't exist now, it does in a few months. It just feels like Riverside is looking to make the whole experience easy to use and it's really appreciated.
When I have had one or two small customer support questions that have come up, their staff have been quick and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little unclear the best way to organize my studios - should it be by season, by episode, or is each episode a project? A pre-populated studio that shows people around would be really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a platform to record my podcasts and create clips and shorts, and Adobe Pro was "too much" for me. This is perfect.
Best App for Podcasts [Period]
What do you like best about the product?
This is the best! my clients love it, I love it, it makes me look great. 10/10.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user management is sometimes difficult ... I'd love to be a "producer" with full record capacity too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me record a podcast with a client
The Best Video Editing Companion for Busy Creators
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite features of Riverside is its transcript based video editing. I don't need a timeline to cut videos. I can highlight text and remove it! Additionally, the auto-captions are clear and ready for export to social media sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
A larger collection of text and transition effects would be wonderful, especially for YouTube content producer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have an incredibly efficient workflow. In less than an hour, I go from recording to having videos ready for publication. It has completely changed the way I produce content.
Conscious Dollars + Riverside.fm = GREATNESS
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is an absolute gem. The ease of functionality and the way you can grab all of your content in one place is incredible. We’ve found that the Magic Videos always hit the hottest topics that we would have locked ourselves. It’s literally a plug and play system. Cannot go wrong with having Riverside.fm in your corner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would say is a dislike is the lack of ability to Zoom. Sometimes with placements of the cameras you want to zoom but can’t so you have to move equipment in tighter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s solving having to pay a ridiculous amount of money to a production studio when you literally have one in the palm of your hands.
Connivence, official, perfect for a do it yourself company.
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to search my content for keywords and pull quick shareable quotes and videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that people are sometimes distracted by the feed being grainy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having a team of people.
Reliable Live Streaming That Never Fails Me on Big Days
What do you like best about the product?
I've hosted over 30 live events using Riverside.fm, and it's never let me down. The local recording capability means that even if a guest lags or disconnects, I still get a perfect final product. I also love the producer role feature, which gives my team control during events.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization for overlays and lower thirds is pretty limited, more design options would elevate the live stream aesthetics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform gives me peace of mind during high stakes sessions. I no longer fear live glitches because the backup system just works.
No-Frills Audio Editing That Saves Me hours Weekly
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm gives me separate audio tracks for every participant, which is a game changer in post-production. I can easily isolate speakers, remove background noise, and fine-tune volume. Plus, everything is recorded locally, so there are no compression issues or internet hiccups baked into the sound.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have built-in advanced equalizer settings, though the current audio quality is still top-tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since switching to Riverside, I've cut my editing time in half. Clients now compliment the professional sound quality without realizing I'm not in a studio.
Riverside is everything I need to record videos virtually!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy the exporting of videos are. I can export each participants video and audio footage separately as individual files at still a very high quality. I also enjoy the AI features such as summarizing the context of a recording and generating notes, titles, and key takeaways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform isn't the most user-friendly to guests. I personally don't have an issue figuring it out, but sometimes when I invite guests on there are some technical issues on their end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our business, we like to record testimonials and interview employees that are at our different locations. It allows us to record conversations or footage of people talking, even though they are so far away.
