Incredibly valuable for content creation
What do you like best about the product?
1) Riverside.fm keeps improving—they don't just rest on their already-awesome interface
2) Their customer service is 24/7, so no matter what time of day—or night—you're creating your content, someone will be there to help.
3) Their AI show notes aren't great for podcasts (they're kind of on the serious and dry side), but for presentations and meetings, they're helpful.
4) I still like to do my own compression, but when my mic settings screw up (like with the past two episodes of my podcast, or with an audiobook I just created), their AI fixes really help.
5) You can play live music and clips to your guests or audience! For some, I imagine this is a game-changing feature.

The price is high...but you can usually find a coupon code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's super-nice to have an online production facility that's yours. I've been a content creator for 25 years, and I used to pay audio engineers hundreds of dollars an hour to do essentially what I've learned to do using Audacity and Riverside. Riverside's editing capabilities are somewhat limited, but if you only have light editing, it might be perfect for you.
Riverside helps me get things done.
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is brilliant because I used to have a big barrier to broadcasting and generating videos because the content was there but I didn't have the time to edit and upload. Now Riverside lets me focus on talking with others and condensing my thoughts and less on the painful parts of production.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's difficult to go between the host and producer roles but I mean that's just around permissioning. The actual tool itself is amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is helping me reduce the time from having an idea from a point of view to converting it to a show which I broadcast online. That's decreasing the time it takes me to get out content and increasing views.
All-In-One for Podcasting, Creating Contents and so much more
What do you like best about the product?
I can do my podcast filming, getting to edit on the spot, also getting the transcription so that I can better create a great video outcome especially on my content and repurposing that content as well. It seems i have shared this with my group that wants to start their own personal brand and there are so much features that they are impressed too.
Also like their quick response in customer support whenever i had a problem they were there to help me.
Now I have used this with my podcast and also all my other long form and shorts altogether. I don't need another editing tool to use as well.
I can even go live in other channel simultaneously

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that i wish they would have is an additional user without going to use the business plan account
this will not only help the content creators or podcaster pretty fast but also we can scale faster with a much leaner expenses on our hand to build a successful channel
Sometimes it lags too at times but at least it is not disrupting my recordings except for 1 time podcast recording which i lost my recording
I wish the backgrund selection would be on the plus plan too without upgrading

it may not be perfect but it is quite impressive that i can use the features especially with the 4K features and does not disrupt the recordings especially when the internet connection might have some lag

I like Riverside but there are a few kinks
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I got in and was able to identify how to use it without a bunch of instructions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The kinks that happen with some of my recordings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its solving the problem of individuals being able to access content creation from a podcast perspective in a timely fashion.

What do you like best about the product?
Ridiculously easy editing and sound improvement for my pod.1
What do you dislike about the product?
Fade in and fade out would support me in using the app for 100% of each project.

Riverside makes it EASY!
What do you like best about the product?
love the AI features. I used to worry about collecting all the assets myself after each recording but Riverside does all the hard work. All I need to do is let Riverside know what kind of clip I want, and it's done in seconds. Couldn't imagine a more user friendly service!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't do a livestream recording without having a producer present. As a show without a producer, that makes having livestreams impossible unfortunately.

It's providing specific clips after each recording!
Riverside is a Just What We Needed
What do you like best about the product?
When we decided to launch a podcast, we conducted extensive research, testing, and evaluation of several different platforms. Riverside had nearly all the features we wanted. Since we are not full-time podcasters, we needed a platform that was user-friendly and simplified the editing process, allowing us to focus on our real work. Riverside does exactly that. We have recommended it to others, and based on their own testing, they have switched to Riverside.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could do more within the platform, such as incorporating transitions. For instance, we have an opening graphic that leads into the podcast, but there are no scene transitions available—no simple options, such as cross-dissolve or fade-in/fade-out. This limitation means that I have to edit in Riverside first, then export the file and import it into a movie application to add scene transitions, soundtracks, and other elements. This process creates extra steps and increases the workload. While it’s possible to import and add a music soundtrack in Riverside, it’s not practical due to the introductory scenes. Ultimately, the only way to achieve a smooth final product is to work outside the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy for us to create the basic podcast recording and the AI features save us a lot of time. The quality of the end video recorded is excellent.
Riverside Has Made Podcasting w/ a Full Time Job Extremely Possible
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm has completely streamlined the traditional podcasting process. Everything from recording, adding guests, editing, and producing for final distribution! I have a full time job in addition to my podcast, and this convenience is the only way I’m able to do that. I absolutely love riverside and would (and have) recommend it to anyone to use for their podcast!
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn’t much I dislike (which I know sounds too good to be true) but I mean that. The only think I’d like to see are some features making the mobile app more comprehensive and comparable to the desktop version as far as editing magic clips and such. Also, from time to time I have a hard time being able to download magic clips I’ve exported from the iOS mobile app. But really this is a MINOR inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it’s solving for me is lack of time available to produce a podcast. How ifs doing that is by having all the tools I need for recording, editing, and producing my podcast on one platform. They even have a “brand” theme you can apply to your recordings and with one click of a button, your logo, color scheme, and even intro and outros are automatically added to the episode. It’s fantastic.
Super Happy but Still Learning
What do you like best about the product?
I love the AI features. They save me time and make me look good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need a tutorial on how to use multiple mics in the same room without echo issues. I’m using multiple cameras but don’t know how to efficiently use the mics in this set up.
