Smooth and easy podcast recording
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, intuitive, good quality recording, easy for guests, good podcast management
What do you dislike about the product?
the files are stored in tiles, would be more handy to see a list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Record guests that are not in the same country
Easy to use and helpful for a small team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to edit our podcast ourselves quickly has made it possible for us to start podcasting. We also love how easy it is to generate a wide range of clips and files for different media outlets
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been a little confused about adding music -- it seems a bit tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need an easy way to generate social media clips for promotion of our podcast and a way to edit our episodes quickly without needing a full staff.
Riverside let's me do things I couldn't do before
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside makes having a guest podcast achievable in far less time than it ever would have taken me in the past. Because of that, I resisted building a show with guests. When Riverside added ai clips to it's list of offerings, it now included everything I needed under one roof.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the silence removal clips too much of the person's voice, so I have to either turn it off entirely or spent a lot of time correcting the clips individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big benefit of Riverside.fm for me is that it removes several tools from my process. I can now do everything I need all in one place with ai assistance if I chose to leverage it.
Easy to Use, Saves Hours of Work!
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is so simple to use that a novice can jump right in, but the tools available will help even the most experienced user. Beyond the ease of use, the AI processing has saved me hours of work on my weekly podcast. I was able to implement this platform in one week and have been using it weekly for the past 5 months.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to pay for some of the tools that I think are basic (removing the watermark, using a green screen for a background, and such) is a little discouraging at times. Also, I have not been able to utilize the app on my desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to produce my podcast as well as create relevant social media posts in a fraction of the time it would take me using my old technology. Additionally, the quality of the recordings is far superior to what I was able to do before.
A innovative Podcast platform with great support!
What do you like best about the product?
They innovate new features from the users, so there is a lot of improvement in our workflow. The great thing is the support, which helps within minutes and resolves problems! We use Riverside for all our virtual Podcast recordings and have integrated it into our studio workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
No big things here, the product is great. Maybe the edit possibilities for short form content videos and captions needs some slight improvements.

Virtual Recording of Videopodcasts
A Game-Changer for High-Quality Podcasting Remotely
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Riverside.fm is the studio-quality audio and video recording, even when recording remotely. The local recording feature is a lifesaver, my guests can be across the country, and it still feels like we’re in the same room.
From the moment I started, the ease of use stood out. The interface is super clean and intuitive, which makes onboarding new guests or co-hosts seamless—even if they’re not tech-savvy. Implementation was quick, and I was up and running within minutes.
The platform offers a solid range of features I use consistently, from separate track recording and automated transcriptions to producer mode, which helps me stay in full control of the experience. I’m in Riverside weekly for podcast production and monthly for special video content.
It also plays well with my editing tools, so even without deep native integrations, exporting and syncing to my post-production flow is simple and efficient. And when I’ve needed help, customer support has been responsive and genuinely helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is overall solid, it can sometimes be very glitchy, especially during live recordings or when a guest has weak internet. I’ve also experienced occasional bugs during upload or export, particularly with longer sessions. The browser-based setup can be a bit finicky depending on the guest’s device or connection. I'd love to see deeper integration with tools like Descript to streamline the creative workflow even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is solving the biggest pain point for indie podcasters and content creators: how to consistently capture high-quality audio and video remotely without needing a full production team or expensive studio setup.
Before Riverside, remote interviews often meant sacrificing quality or dealing with clunky workflows. Now, I can confidently record guests from anywhere in the world and still maintain a studio-level experience, which helps my podcast stand out.
The local recording feature ensures I don’t lose quality even if someone’s internet is shaky, and the separate audio/video tracks make editing faster and cleaner. It also solves the problem of team collaboration; producer mode allows someone to handle the back end while I stay fully present with my guest.
All of this saves me time, money, and energy, so I can focus more on creative direction, content strategy, and connection, instead of constantly troubleshooting tech. It’s aligned with the flow I need to run a podcast that feels elevated, intentional, and seamless.

Game changing product for my podcast
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm has revolutionized the way I produce podcast interviews as a creator, the platform's local recordings capability is a game changer delivering studio quality audio and video even when internet connections falter. No more worrying about dropped calls or pixelated footage, the reliability here is unmatched.
What truly sets Reverside apart is it's individual audio and video track recording. This feature alone has transformed my editing process, granting granular control over post-production without the headache of muddled audio mixes. It saves hours of work and elevates the final product to a professional.

What do you dislike about the product?
While I love Riverside.fm’s studio-quality recordings, the pricing feels steep for casual creators, and the mobile app lacks desktop-level features like multitrack recording.

The platform is intuitive and reliable, which gives me peace of mind during live sessions. I've used other tools
Professional-Quality Content Creation Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Riverside to record and produce my podcast (Make Sense w/ Lindsay T., Lady Engineer®) for 2.5 years. Sixty-five episodes and counting, it's been incredible. It makes content creation - particularly the editing piece - surprisingly smooth and intuitive.
It's easy to get started - especially since it borrows familiar conventions for video editing from tools like iMovie - the learning curve was only slight.
The real start for me is the Magic AI - it's incredible. Being able to generate social-ready short-form clips from long-form recordings has saved me countless hours. The capabilities continue to improve.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only pain point I've experienced is how long it takes to restore older recordings from the archive. I understand it's a storage optimization thing, but when I'm trying to repurpose content for today's relevant topics, waiting for those files can be a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the biggest hurdle - delivering high quality audio and video content without a production team or studio setup. For Make Sense w/ Lindsay T., Lady Engineer®, my podcast that dives into innovation and tech culture, it allows me to focus on meaningful conversations and storytelling rather than wrestling with technical complexity. I record remote interviews in studio quality, edit quickly, and generate clips for social with AI - all from one place.
Love Riverside - easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to record remote interviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
The magic audio still needs developing as sometimes the audio can be a bit choppy, but the customer support is very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote Recording for my podcast allows me to easily edit my podcast as a busy business owner.
What I Needed To Take My Podcast To the Next Level
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve tried several tools in the past, but Riverside.fm is exactly what I was looking for to take my podcast to the next level. From the very first recording, I could tell the quality was on another level—both in terms of audio and video. The interface is intuitive, the local recording feature is a game-changer, and I love how easy it is to bring in guests and get professional-level results without the tech headaches.
If you’re serious about podcasting and want a reliable platform that just works, Riverside.fm is the way to go. I’m genuinely impressed and excited to keep building my show with it!

What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to make clips is good enough for me to not use Opus anymore; however, losing the ability to auto-post to social in exchange was a hard trade-off. I also wish it had Cap Cut level editing features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Video quality improvement, editing (cancelled Adobe Premiere subscription), and having an actual studio for my podcast as I used Zoom before, which was serviceable but not geared for high-quality podcasts. Using Riverside saves me a ton of time and produces the podcast at a much higher level than what I was doing before.
