The Definitive Tool for High-Stakes Client Deliverables and Thought Leadership

  • February 01, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Riverside is how it elevates the professionalism and impact of our client-facing deliverables. In consulting, our reputation hinges on the quality of our work. Riverside's flawless local recording ensures that every remote expert interview, stakeholder workshop recording, or webinar we produce for a client is crystal clear in both audio and video, without any dependency on participants' internet quality. This reliability is non-negotiable when presenting to C-level executives. The separate tracks also give our production team the flexibility to create polished highlight reels and branded clips that extend the life and reach of our strategic content.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least is that for a consulting firm that manages numerous client projects simultaneously, the per-host licensing model can become a significant operational expense when multiple consultants need to lead independent recording sessions. While the value is undeniable for key projects, a more flexible team or project-based pricing tier would better align with the variable nature of our workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the critical problem of delivering inconsistent or amateurish multimedia content in a high-stakes professional environment. Before Riverside, remote recordings for client case studies or industry reports were a reliability risk. Now, we offer podcast-style interviews with subject matter experts and polished video presentations as a standard part of our service, enhancing our perceived value. The key benefit is a stronger brand authority and the ability to repurpose deep strategic discussions into marketing assets that attract new business.

The Operational Efficiency Powerhouse for E-commerce Content

  • January 31, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Riverside is how it streamlines and de-risks our entire content production pipeline. As an Operations Lead, my priority is reliable, repeatable processes. Riverside's local recording guarantees studio-quality audio and video every single time, eliminating costly re-shoots due to internet issues. The separate tracks for each participant save our team countless hours in post-production, allowing us to publish product tutorials and customer testimonial videos faster than ever before. It's a game-changer for operational efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least is the initial per-seat cost, which requires a clear business case for larger teams. While the ROI is undeniable for our core content creators, expanding access to every team member would need careful budget planning. A more granular, role-based pricing tier could be beneficial for growing companies like ours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving two major operational bottlenecks: inconsistent content quality and slow production turnaround. Before Riverside, coordinating remote recordings with suppliers and influencers was a logistical headache with unpredictable results. Now, we have a professional, reliable process. The key benefit is scalability—we can now produce a higher volume of high-quality video content for product launches, training, and social media without linearly increasing our time or stress, directly supporting our sales and marketing goals.

What do you like best about the product?
Flawless Quality Every Time: The local recording feature ensures that every participant's audio and video are captured in pristine quality, regardless of their internet connection. This haselevated our brand's content from amateur to professional instantly.

Massive Time Savings in Editing: Receiving separate, high-quality tracks for each participant allows our team to edit with incredible flexibility. Creating different versions (full-length, social clips) is now efficient and fast.

Guest-Friendly & Reliable: Inviting external guests (influencers, customers) is seamless. They join with one click in their browser, with zero technical hurdles, making scheduling and recording interviews stress-free.

Perfect for Social Media Clips: The built-in editor and "Magic Clips" AI tool make it incredibly easy to turn a long interview into dozens of polished, engaging clips for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts—a game-changer for our marketing funnel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Premium Pricing: The cost places it in the premium segment, which might require a stricter budget justification for smaller startups or solo creators, though the ROI is clear for teams like ours.

Learning Curve for Advanced Features: While basic recording is simple, mastering the full suite of editing and production features (like the multicam editor) requires some initial time investment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminated Inconsistent Content Quality: Solved the majorpain point of unreliable audio/video from remote participants, ensuring every piece of content meets our high brand standards.

Streamlined Complex Production Workflows: Dramatically reduced the time and technical effort required to produce, edit, and repurpose professional marketing videos and podcasts.

Drastically reducing our creative production cycles for high-converting video ads

  • January 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In PPC, "Creative" is our most importantlever for performance. At Apex Digital Reach, we use Riverside as our primary engine for generating high-fidelity ad assets. What I like best is the local 4K recording. Because it records on each guest's device, we get studio-quality footage even if the client has a spotty internet connection. This is critical for us because poor video quality instantly kills trust in a paid ad. The Magic Clips AI is also a massive operational win; it allows me to take a single 20-minute strategy session with a client and instantly extract 10+ vertical "hook" videos for TikTok and Meta Ads. It has effectively turned our recording sessions into a month's worth of ad creative with zero additional editing overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is incredibly powerful, but as a PPC manager, I would love to see a more robust "Asset Library" organization system. When we are managing multiple clients, the dashboard can get crowded. Being able to create dedicated "Client Folders" with custom brand kits (logos/fonts) that stay locked to that specific project would save us from manual re-uploads. Also, while the text-based editor is great for quick trims, I’d love to see a native "Direct Response" template library—pre-set layouts specifically designed for high-performing ad formats like split-screens or "Problem/Solution" captions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is solving the problem of "Creative Fatigue" in our paid campaigns. The Impact at Apex Digital Reach:

Lower CPA: By using Riverside’s high-quality separate tracks, our editors can produce "Premium" feeling ads that stand out in the feed. We’ve seen a 15-20% decrease in CPA for clients where we swapped Zoom-quality testimonials for Riverside-recorded ones.

Asset Velocity: We can move from a recording session to a launched campaign in 48 hours. The ability to generate accurate transcripts and burnt-in captions with one click means we don't have to outsource to expensive post-production houses. It has transformed our agency's ability to test new hooks and creatives at a speed that was previously impossible.

The ultimate "remote studio" for scaling high-quality client content

  • January 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As an agency owner, my reputation is tiedto the production quality we deliver to clients. What I like best about Riverside is their local recording technology. By recording 4K video and uncompressed 48kHz WAV audio directly on each guest's device, we completely bypass the "Zoom-lag" and internet glitches that used to ruin our remote sessions. The Magic Clips feature is our biggest operational win this year; we can take a 30-minute client interview and instantly generate a week’s worth of branded TikToks and Reels using the AI-suggested highlights. This has allowed us to offer "Content Repurposing" as a high-margin upsell without increasing our editing headcount.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the text-based editor is fantastic for quick cuts, I’d love to see more robust Brand Kit folders for agencies managing multiple clients. Currently, switching between different client logos, fonts, and color palettes in the editor can be a bit manual. Having a "Client Profile" toggle would be a huge time-saver. Additionally, while the progressive uploading is great, we occasionally see "upload pending" status if a guest closes their browser too quickly after a session. A more aggressive "Don't Close This Tab" warning for guests would help prevent those few minutes of frantic follow-up with busy executives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is solving the problem of "Production Friction" in remote content creation. The Impact at Ascend Digital Agency:
Studio-Grade Results, Anywhere: We can now record high-level CEOs and influencers globally without ever leaving our office. The separate-track recording gives our editors total control to fix cross-talk or balance audio, ensuring the final product sounds like it was recorded in a $500/hr studio.

Post-Production Speed: By using the text-based editor and AI-generated show notes, we’ve cut our "recording-to-publish" time by nearly 60%. This efficiency allows us to take on 3x more podcasting and video clients than we could a year ago. It has transformed our video department from a cost center into our agency's fastest-growing revenue stream.

Bridging the gap between studio-quality production and high-velocity performance marketing

  • January 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In performance marketing, "Creative" is the new targeting. At Velocity Growth Partners, we need high-fidelity video assets that we can rapidly iterate for client campaigns. What I like best about Riverside is its local recording technology. By recording 4K video and uncompressed audio locally on each participant’s device, we eliminate the "Zoom-quality" jitters and low-res artifacts that usually kill a high-spend ad's credibility. The Magic Clips AI is also a significant operational win; it allows my team to take a 45-minute strategic interview and instantly extract 10-12 high-impact vertical shorts for TikTok and Meta ads, drastically reducing our post-production overhead and improving our speed-to-market.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the AI-driven text-based editor is revolutionary for quick cuts, it still lacks some of the advanced color grading and multi-layer compositing features found in Premiere Pro. For our high-tier enterprise clients, we often have to export the separate tracks (which Riverside makes very easy via the XML export) to finish the edit externally. Additionally, while the HubSpot integration is great for webinars, I’d like to see more direct integrations with performance tracking tools so we can see which "Magic Clips" are driving the highest conversion rates directly within the Riverside dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is solving the problem of "Production Bottlenecks" for our agency. The Impact at Velocity Growth Partners:

Asset Scalability: Before Riverside, producing a high-quality videopodcast for a client required a physical studio or a complex remote setup that often failed. Now, we can record anyone, anywhere, at 4K quality. This has allowed us to increase our monthly creative output by 3x without increasing our headcount.

Enhanced Lead Gen: We use the webinar and "Audience Mode" features to host live sessions that sync directly with our CRM. Because the recording quality is so high, the "re-watch" value of our webinars is much higher, leading to better long-term lead nurturing. It has transformed our video content from a "one-off event" into a library of high-performing, evergreen marketing assets that drive measurable ROI for our partners.

Riverside Streamlines Virtual Interviews with Powerful AI Summaries and Video Hooks

  • January 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been a fantastic platform for virtual interviews for our team. Each time I use it, I discover new features that enhance my ability to shape a clear, engaging story from every conversation. The AI-generated summaries are especially helpful for quickly identifying key themes and takeaways, while the vertical video “hooks” make it easy to turn long-form interviews into compelling social content. As a one-person team, Riverside allows me to streamline my workflow, reduce time spent editing, and move from recording to publish-ready content much faster. It’s become an essential tool for producing polished, professional interviews without needing a full production team.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Riverside is robust, the interface and feature set can feel overwhelming at first. Users unfamiliar with recording platforms may need time to find and leverage all the tools, especially AI elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solves the core headaches of remote interviews -- reliable high-quality capture, faster editing, and built-in AI tools that help uncover insights and create social-ready clips. For a one-person team, that means fewer technical frustrations, more creative output, and a streamlined workflow that lets me focus on telling powerful stories instead of wrestling with files and timelines.
