Very intuitive and powerful in editing. It is very transparent with the podcast guests.

I really do not have anything that I do not like about Riverside.

What I find most valuable about Riverside is its reliability for recording crucial walk-throughs and inspection meetings. When documenting a building's condition before a major renovation or reviewing safety compliance issues, the local recording feature ensures we have a perfect, uninterrupted record, regardless of spotty Wi-Fi in basements or on construction sites. The high-quality audio is essential for capturing specific details discussed, and the video provides a clear visual reference that is far superior to written notes or blurry phone videos. It creates an indisputable record for our files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced editing and AI repurposing features feel less relevant to my core operational needs. The interface, while powerful, can be slightly overwhelming with options geared more toward content marketing. A simplified "documentation mode" with straightforward tools for adding chapter markers, highlighting timestamps for action items, and easily exporting a compressed file for archival would be a more tailored fit for facility management use cases.

Riverside solves the problem of inaccurate or lost information during critical property assessments and contractor meetings. In the past, miscommunications about project scope or condition reports could lead to disputes and cost overruns. Now, we have a definitive, high-fidelity record of every conversation and visual inspection. This benefits us by improving accountability with vendors, providing flawless documentation for regulatory compliance and insurance purposes, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned from the same source of truth, which ultimately protects the company and streamlines operations.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very user-friendly! I used the recording function tonight, and between importing videos and editing, it makes it easy to publish my podcast every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t published to Spotify through Riverside yet. I’ve been hesitant because I’m not sure whether you can schedule a post ahead of time, rather than having it publish immediately in the moment. If I could get some clarification on that, it would really help.
Also, in the subtitles text box for videos, it’s difficult to highlight or select specific parts of the text—especially when using the small or extra-small font sizes. I often end up rewriting the text because that’s simply easier than trying to select the exact section I want.

I like the range of work I can do under one roof. Streaming, podcast production, content creation, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
As a new podcaster, Riverside has saved me in so many ways. I really love how easy it is to use, and the quality of the video clips I can create to go along with my podcast promotions is fantastic. Best of all, their customer service is truly top of the line.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t found a downside to Riverside yet. Every once in a while during recording, the connection can look blurry or glitchy, but the final result is always seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside makes it easy for me to connect with my guests, no matter where they live. I’m also not a video editor, and Riverside still helps me create really great video clips.
