Riverside.fm - full service & easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fmn is a platform much like Zoom, only easier and includes features that are often required from stand alone platforms. Scheduling studio time is super easy to do. Recordiing quality is great . Editing is a breeze because the video is simultaneously edited, escpecially for cuts, as edits are made in the transcript. With one click you can get rid of filler words and um's. A great new feature is automatically getting short clips/reels that can be used in posts and as reels on social media. Plus, with the good tutorials, you can be up and running, implementing everything quickly. I plan to be using this platform for all of my podcast interviews from now on.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I can't say that there's anything I really dislike about Riverside.fm itself. It does mean another tool to get used to, but even after just one or two recordings I found it flowed smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have made editing so much easier. The transcript is provided and edits like cutting out pauses and filler words as well as longer sections of content can all be done directly from the transcript. The other feature that I really like is that clips of my recordings are automatically provided. These are great to use on social media or shorts on YouTube. Having this automatically done eliminates the need to upload the video into another product to get the clips.

What do you like best about the product?
1) Integration to Transistor.fm, which we use for publishing
2) Magic Clips where Riverside finds small clips and makes it easy for us to publish them to YouTube Shorts
3) Easily normalize audio levels and export
Overall, it's just a great tool to allow us to record our podcast, easily upload to our publishing software and make small clips for marketing. We use it every week.

What do you dislike about the product?
1) Our podcast is danish and the AI that translates subtitles is very poor, so we have to use other tools like Mygoodtape or Submagic for this as it's unreadable. It's much better in english, but not useful at all in danish.
2) I dislike that we need an enterprise account to have several logins and that, even worse, we can't even see pricing. We have to book a demo and talk to sales. I never want to book a demo and talk to sales. I just want to see a price and then determine whether it's attractive for us or not. Having to go through sales means that we're just not going to upgrade to enterprise.

Allows us to record, edit and publish our podcast. We do a podcast on marketing in our agency.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing to like about Riverside dot FM is that it allows me to really create a podcast that I'm proud of. The amount of tools, the amount of AI assistance and just the overall app is truly tremendous when it comes to innovation. I'm very proud to say that I'm creating my podcast only using Riverside!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike much about Riverside.FM but I do feel like the ability to import. Larger files would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me create and pull together clips videos, and audio all in one place so that I can edit my podcast and then it also helps me stream to the different platforms that my Podcast is currently on

What do you like best about the product?
The AI tools make content distribution easy. Most of the time my podcast stopped recording was due to not having the time to edit, caption and detail everything. The ai tools in riverside eleviate all of that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the features didn't require the business plan. Changing framerate or controlling guest audio shouldn't be paywalled EVEN FURTHER than the pro subscription. These are not featuires that require a boutique experience and plan. It seems like a real money grab.

Makes recording a remote podcast and distributing it very easy

What do you like best about the product?
I found riverside.fm from Google and I have been using it for almost 4 months, audio quality is so good. I am using it for audio podcasting. In future will try video podcasting as well.

Just make sure you have your and your guests ad blockers off.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has made it very easy for me to host and record podcasts. I absolutely love using Riverside because of the quality of the recording and the intuitiveness of the platform. I would absolutely recommend that every podcaster uses Riverside.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use for the riverside platform. It does a great job of making quick AI edits and shorts from videos that are great for reels and Tiktok.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some sync issues with my external camera but when I switched to my built in webcam it worked great but didn't look as good do to being a lower quality camera
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using multiple platforms previously. I was recording on zoom and the editing on another software. Now it's all in the same system and has better quality video and audio
A huge chance of pace in terms of accessibility, ease of use and editing functionality.
What do you like best about the product?
My podcast previously used another service for hosting our video content and then I had to edit these videos in a separate program which would take hours of my time, while also finding clips and other things to spice up our social media. Riverside has made this process SO much easier and something I would highly recommend to any new Podcast starting out, this will help you grow your audience!
What do you dislike about the product?
While there's a ton of features available within Riverside, there are still things that are missing. The option to separate audio/video from pre-recorded videos would be insanely helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AI for creating clips for social media is huge, it reduces the time that I need to take to work on these while making it easy to customize our clips.
