Easy-to-Use All-in-One Platform That Makes Podcasting Simple
What do you like best about the product?
The products are easy to utilize. It makes podcasting simple all in one space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The clips that are selected in the "made for you" section could be better. If there is a way to simplify and selecting clips that would be next level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to create long form podcasts with relative ease.
Amazing Final Product with Perfect Audio and Powerful AI Tools
What do you like best about the product?
Amazing final product. Audio is always perfect. AI tools enhance all my videos tremendously.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s no deleted folder but they can sometimes recover your deleted video if you reach out to customer service right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Video editing and audio enhancing. I researched different platforms for months and tried many of them. Riverside is by far the best!
Magic Audio and One-Click Filler Removal Make Editing Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I find the magic audio is very useful. So many times audio is at different levels during recording, magic audio cleans it up nice.
I like the one-click removal of ums and ahs.
I find the Riverside YouTube channel answers most of my questions and addresses the issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some issues during edits where the video disappears. If I refresh the page it comes back for another 8-10 minutes and disappears again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel I have a more professional look using the programs offered by Riverside
Easy Setup, Smooth Workflow with Clips and Transcripts
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the platform is easy to use and set up with my equipment. The additional features like clips and transcripts makes it easy for my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, it’s not much to dislike. The exporting situation possibly could be easier. For example finding the files and exporting and then having to go to another screen is a bit meh… if it could all happen on the same page that could help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don’t have to take additional steps to go from editing to publishing to platforms like Spotify. The quality of videos is also a big plus. When recording on other platforms I’d be reduced to 1080px, but I can download in 4k. Which works with my camera specs
Great Support Experience Despite a Temporary App Bug
What do you like best about the product?
The Riverside support team usually responds within a few hours and is consistently polite and professional. Every troubleshooting step is explained very clearly and in a truly foolproof way, which makes even complex issues easy to follow. While some responses appear to be pre-formulated (possibly AI-assisted), that’s completely understandable—and honestly something I also rely on due to the language barrier. Overall, the support experience has been very positive.
What do you dislike about the product?
well, it’s just worth keeping in mind that Riverside still has a startup-like pace of development, and the occasional bug is inevitable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our issue was that the Riverside macOS app suddenly stopped recognizing the Rode USB microphone as an input device, while still listing it as a speaker/output, which was quite unusual. As a result, Riverside opened a deep technical support ticket and involved their engineering team behind the scenes. I really appreciated this approach and view the escalation to deeper technical support as a very positive and professional response.

It’s pretty easy to learn. It has made recording new episodes easier than ever, so I can focus on the material not the edit.

It takes some restarting my MacBook to get it to find my phone as a camera

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been a game-changer for recording marketing and podcast content for my company. The editing software is easy to use and has a simple learning curve. I was easily able to integrate it into our process, and all of the features provided saved my final delivery times so much faster. I love editing via transcription and the AI audio clean-up.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to be able to share the teleprompter in the Pro plan.

Everything works pretty neat, good UX. It just does the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they can improve the transcript functionality. Tried it with Romanian, but it didn't work that great. Maybe for English is better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have streamlined and simplified the process of creating, editing and distributing a podcast. It works like "magic", I just need to do click>click>click.
