Excellent tool for management and performance monitoring.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a very easy tool to install and that it really does work for which it was created, it has all the necessary functions to be able to detect any failure in the different production processes, determine what is the cause of the problem and give it a solution timely
What do you dislike about the product?
What I do not like about this software is the implementation of updates, in some cases they have caused failures and have required manual intervention, one of the important faults that have caused these updates is the temporary disconnection of service, that caused some data to be lost of transactions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to solve the problems of production found by our users, we have also been able to identify network traffic problems, this software allows us to know which users have had a problem and also when it was affected.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This software is really good and works very well, in terms of its operation it is quite reliable and, it is very easy to use, additionally take into account the cost.

To be an almost all in one tool that can be used for a variety of purposes

It has a pricing model that doesn’t suit for all our customers

Monitoring hybrid cloud infrastructure
The product is quite expensive in general but dedicated fo critical applications
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboarding , data visualization and ease definition of RC
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite expensive In general so may be use only for critical apps. Host env monitoring should be cost less

dynatrace helped app teams understood an application in the better way

Try at least the POC for one application ,easy installation and set up and then take a decision

I like the intuitive administration and that is so easy to deploy

The cost of the licences, really is a huge cost and not all the companies can implant it

Better and faster troubleshooting, an a global business vision and the monitoring tool for excellence.

Improve the automation with event management

The Deployment is really easy. Just install a single Binary on your Server and all is done.

The Platform could be a bit confusing with all the insights and different boards

Just use the Trail Account and roll out the agent

AI and the OneAgent. Also the synthetic checks are awesome.

The GUI is a bit user unfriendly. Sometimes hard to understand.

Monitoring and APM is now easily used and done in our company

Just use it
Easy to install, a lot of IT to discover

How easy it is to be installed in comparison with other APM. It discovers every piece of information that goes through the servers

That you still need to install an agent on every server you want to have Dynatrace on.

Easy of installation, deep application insights, business view

Still some trouble for application hosted in a datacenter rather then the cloud

What I have used the most are the synthetic monitoring tests which turned out to be quite helpful to detect issues in production.

It turns out hard to tickle the synthetic tests after being recorded with the browser plugin

Being able to detect faults and outages in production.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get some information from people who have already use the tool and ask for possible problems faced in the use of it. The more tricks you get the better. Also try to use the tool in your whole stack rather than only in some of the components you have deployed. This way you will benefit from the use of the correlation.
Also finding some videos can be useful to get to know if the tool can help you in the process of improving your product or platform.
I personally have not looked for digital courses in edx, coursera or udemy, having tthat might be quite helpful as well.
